GOP senators press Holder for special prosecutor into potential national security leaks

GOP senators are putting the pressure on Attorney General Eric Holder to appoint a special counsel to investigate whether the White House is responsible for national security leaks.
“The numerous national security leaks reportedly originating out of the executive branch in recent months have been stunning,” according to a copy of the letter to Holder, signed by more than 30 GOP senators and obtained by Fox News. “If there were ever a case requiring an outside special counsel with bipartisan acceptance and widespread public trust, this is it.”
I missed it…did they say all that with a straight face? (my computer is refusing to play any sort of video) Are they seriously asking that piece of trash who dropped charges against the NBPP for voter intimidation, is suing states for attempting to keep illegals from voting, refuses to deport criminals, and is responsible for the murder of Brian Terry? Naw…they couldn’t have!
“This administration cannot be trusted to investigate itself,” Sen John Cornyn, R-Texas, said during a Capitol Hill press conference Tuesday. “You cannot investigate yourself and not have a conflict of interest.”
Well, at least Cornyn has an ounce of sense! Asking Holder to ‘investigate’ that phony occupying the White House is like asking a 3 year to ‘investigate’ if he took the last cookie. Give me a flippin’ break! The Chicago Mob investigating their mob chief. *snicker* Oh yeah…BIG picture!
A Very Small Victory
One of the FEW jobs of the federal government is to protect the people of the country from invasion. They have stopped doing their job. Even Bush was overly lax on the border security, and in all honesty, he is one of the reasons we have the ‘border war’. Obama, and his Department of Injustice, has taken it even further in denying states the RIGHT to protect themselves, using the FEDERAL laws. IMHO, they are guilty of accessory to murder, allowing drug cartels free access to the United States to peddle their poison. I’m not even going to mention F&F! This administration is nothing more than a criminal enterprise, paid for by the American taxpayer. It’s past time to take out the trash!
Supreme Court Upholds Immigration Checks, but Administration Counters

The Supreme Court handed down its decision on the Arizona immigration law yesterday, striking some portions of the law in a 5-3 ruling but unanimously upholding immigration status checks by law enforcement. The Obama Administration countered by announcing it would tell Arizona to release most of the people whose status was in question.
Following the Court’s decision, law enforcement officers must make a “reasonable attempt…to determine the immigration status” of any person they stop, detain, or arrest for a non-immigration offense if “reasonable suspicion exists that the person is an alien unlawfully present in the United States.” That check would involve a call to the Department of Homeland Security, which maintains a 24/7 hotline for this purpose, as the federal government determines who may enter and remain in the country.
