Reading this, the song “Teach Your Children Well” by Crosby, Stills and Nash came to mind. Reckon there’s no guaranteeing they’ll learn the lessons though.

The ironic thing is I highly doubt you would want your Grandkids learning the particular lessons those 4 may teach them
That is unreal. Thursday I was in a doctor’s office and a man and lady came in with their son (in his 20′s). He was on one side of the roon and they were on the other side. She ask him to come sit with them and he said “I dont want to be with y’all”. I wanted to give them all a copy of that song, after I slapped him. It was all I could do to keep my mouth shut…my wife was so proud of me.
Sorry, the only thing CSN&Y remind me of hippies, dropping acid and that they are the Godfathers of the Occupy Movement.
Sheesh! The song…not the group! LOL Yeah…they turned out to be a real bright bunch, eh? *shakes head* LOVED their music though. Hey…I was young….a LONG time ago y’know.
Apparently, the parents of my parents generation were the last to truly teach their kids…right from wrong, etc. I blame MY generation for the total lack of sanity in those who came after us. I did make the attempt to teach my daughter, but I’ll be the first to admit I was a really crappy mother. Luckily, she did grasp a few concepts, and is NOT part of the 99% type crowd.
