Nostalgia
I’m sitting here, listening to my GREAT grandson squawking, for reasons unknown (he just seems to like to hear himself make all kinds of noise for no apparent reason), and going through my email. The ick in law sent an email with all kinds of ‘nostalgia’, and I started thinking….what a different world I grew up in than what that little dude squirming around on the floor will experience.
That first picture in the email really brought back some not so great memories. Did you have to wear a gym suit? Not shorts…a one piece suit, with snaps down the front? Ours were a light blue. Not very flattering, on ANYONE!
Yes….we all wore white socks and actual tennis shoes. No fancy, overpriced, useless shoes people would kill you for! Functional! Like they were suppose to be! And yeah, that hair… Of course, it did go away, eventually. 
Thankfully.
A few of the other items in that email, which I’m sure most of you have seen at one time, or another….
ARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!! I just spent two hours working on this post, and 90% just vanished. I have no idea why! But I’m damn sure not going to try to repeat it all, and yes…I DID save. It’s just gone! My mood is now, to say the least, not good!
