Bringing Shame On The U.S.

Murdering 1,000 Christians Is Not Terrorism Says U.S.

In the past three years, over 1,000 Christians in Nigeria have been brutally murdered by an extremist Islamic group known as Boko Haram and the United States has refused to classify the group as being a terrorist organization.

Nigeria’s Christian leaders had asked the United States government to place Boko Haram on the list of terrorist organizations. The radical Islamic group has vowed to eradicate all Christians from Nigerian soil and will continue to murder men, women and children in the process unless something is done to stop them.

Instead of declaring Boko Haram a terrorist organization, the U.S. government only placed three of the group’s leaders on a terrorist blacklist and then said that it was more important to address social inequalities in the country first. Christian leaders in Nigeria said the actions or perhaps lack of action by the United States has only served to make the group bolder and more aggressive in their pursuit to exterminate the remaining Christians.

I can’t even begin to express the revulsion I feel for the entire Obama administration, and the U.S. government in general, right now.  I have never felt so ashamed in my life, and that includes the shame I feel for some of the utterly stupid things I did as a youth.  What they are doing is flat out condoning the actions of this TERRORIST bunch of Islamists.  “Hey…it’s ok…go ahead and murder innocent men, women, and children, in the name of your god…we don’t mind.  After all, there’s no social justice in your country, so you have an excuse to be pedophile worshiping murderers!”

The insanity of this thugocracy is mind boggling!  Why don’t they just go ahead and invite them to come on over to the U.S. and let ‘em start slaughtering Christians here too!  Oh…wait a minute…seems to me they are already doing that, under the table, so to speak!  And these so called ‘leaders’ have the gall and audacity to call people like ME a terrorist?  May they rot in hell with their real leader…..Satan!

As a Christian, at this point in time, I can only apologize for the animals who turn a blind eye to the plight of my brothers and sisters in Nigeria, and elsewhere in the world, and pray!!!

Late Thursday evening, Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign launched a new fundraising drive, ‘Meet The VP’ — just as Romney himself has narrowed the field of candidates to a handful, sources reveal.

And a surprise name is now near the top of the list: Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice!

The timing of the announcement is now set for ‘coming weeks’.

MORE

It was Condi who received two standing ovations at Romney’s Utah retreat a few weeks ago, and everyone left with her name on their lips.

Rice made an extended argument for American leadership in the world.

In recent days, she emailed supporters:

“2012 is perhaps a turning point for the United States.”

“The upcoming elections loom as one of the most important in my lifetime,” she warned. “I’m very often asked to speak about our current foreign policy and the challenges that lie before us. However, we, as a country, are not going to be able to address any of those international challenges unless we first get our domestic house in order.”

Developing…

I have a great deal of admiration for Condoleeza Rice. She is a brilliant woman! However, she has a couple of flaws that would definitely give most conservatives pause… One problem, she’s closely associated with Bush, who we know wasn’t really a conservative, but as modern day presidents go, was a damn sight better than the clown who could be considered a total waste of oxygen. Second problem….she is “‘mildly’ “pro-choice”", a term that denotes approval for the murder of the unborn. This gives me GREAT pause, as I’m sure it would a large number of Christian conservatives. ( And just what does ‘mildly’ mean?  Either you are, or you aren’t.  Even ‘mildly’ ends up with a dead child.  :? )

Oddly enough, she has repeatedly said she would NOT run for any office, including the VP slot, so, I have to admit, this Drudge headline has me baffled.

The mental image, though, of her debating Joe Biden, I have to admit, is highly amusing.  All she’d have to do is stand there and look at him, and could win hands down.  Heh.

Now, if Mitt Romney REALLY wants to win this thing, he should probably start listening to us peons out here in the REAL world.  Yes, he is a tad out of touch with conservatives in middle America, but I’m trying not to hold that against him.  He pulled himself up by his own bootstraps, used his own brain, which was not muddled by drugs, and made a financially successful life.  On the opposite end, the incumbent has done nothing for himself, had things handed to him, and now expects the rest of us to fall in line, and continue handing to him….our money, our liberties, and our lives.

So, if Gov Romney wants OUR input….how about Allen West?  He’s a real person, who has been in the real world, and is staunchly conservative!  I’ve seen lists from the talking heads, speculating, and his name is never on the list.  This speaks volumes of the pundits.  They don’t listen to us either.  :?   We had to hold our noses to vote for McCain, and the only reason we did was because he chose a true conservative as his running mate.  Romney was not the choice of ANY conservative, so it might be wise on his part to follow McCain’s example and choose someone like West.  Most of us are going to vote for him, mainly because we can’t tolerate another 4 years of Obama’s destructive policies, but wouldn’t it be better for him to get the excitement brought by a REAL conservative?  I’ve no doubt some who have decided they won’t vote at all would get their butts off the couch and pull the lever for West.  :D   Just a thought!

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.
Chinese Proverb

I guess the current resident of the White House doesn’t believe in self reliance, or even encouraging it, since he’s obviously doing his best to make sure as many people as possible are dependent upon the government. No jobs, record number of food stamp recipients, and now no requirements to get taxpayer money. Isn’t it odd that for more than 150 years, the Republicans have been trying to get folks OFF the plantation, and for those same years, the Democrats have been doing everything they can to keep them there, or shove them back. We’re not talking about skin color here, we’re talking total government dependence, and the need for the Democrats to control the masses. Raise up your kids to believe that government is the answer to all their problems, that it will take care of you, and you raise up kids who EXPECT handouts, and if they don’t get what they want, they’ll take it!

Gee, I dunno Questionman (OWS moron), sure sounds like socialism/communism to me!

Obama’s Imperial Presidency Guts Welfare Reform
The Foundry

The imperial Presidency has overturned Congress and the law again. Not content to stop at rewriting immigration policy, education policy and energy policy, yesterday, President Obama’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) released an official policy directive rewriting the welfare reform law of 1996. The new policy guts the federal work requirements that were the foundation of the Clinton-era reform.

While this real news occurred yesterday, most of the media remained fixated on political ads and speeches, letting a major and unilateral shift in America’s welfare system go nearly unreported.

Welfare reform replaced the old Aid to Families with Dependent Children with a new program, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF). The Heritage Foundation played a pivotal role in building bipartisan consensus for the reform and providing many of the recommendations that became part of the law. The whole point was that able-bodied adults should be required to work or prepare for work as a condition of receiving welfare aid.
