Christians Can’t Be Democrats…..PERIOD!

Dems move to include gay marriage support in official party platform

Democrats are moving, for the first time, to include support for same-sex marriage in the official party platform at their national convention.

The decision comes after President Obama became the first sitting U.S. president to voice support for gay marriage, and as party officials try to build the anticipation ahead of the convention set for early September in Charlotte, N.C.

Sources told Fox News that the Democrats’ platform drafting committee voted unanimously to include the language backing same-sex marriage at a meeting in Minneapolis over the weekend. The next step would be for the full platform committee to take it up in Detroit next month. From there, the plank would go to convention delegates in Charlotte.

If you are God inspired, Bible/Torah believer….meaning Christian or Jew….you can NOT be a Democrat.  It’s just that simple!  I don’t care if your mama and daddy always voted Dem.  This isn’t the same party they supported…although sadly, likely they were just as racist then as the Dems are now.

Contrary to what the left, aka Dems, would tell you, Christians don’t hate gays.  We do, however, pray for them!  It is not our job to be judges, but it our duty to point out the errors.  A directive, so to speak.  So, when the Democrat party (they are NOT democratic) pushes every vile thing under the sun as being okie dokie, it is our duty to bring them to the attention of others, in hopes that there will a Light shining towards the correct path.  It’s not that complicated.

Murdering the unborn, condoning acts considered an abomination, stealing, coveting…these are things condoned, and even promoted by a group of people who have obviously lost their way.

So, I will repeat….if you profess your faith in God, if you proclaim Jesus as the Living Christ, you can NOT be a Democrat.  When it comes right down to it, you can’t be one of those elitist, establishment Republicans (RINOs) either.  Compromising principals of faith? Nope! The problem is, if we are to have any hope of returning to our Judeo/Christian foundings, we’re going to have to continue to nudge that Rock uphill, and it’s not going to be easy. When you have the MSM, hate groups like the SPLC, and disgusting Soros funded groups like Media Matters, fighting you every inch of the way, the work will be daunting. BUT, there are more of us than there are of them, so if we all pitch in, we CAN, and WILL get there…..with the Grace of God!  One step at a time.

The Failing Government/Union Run Schools

31 July 2012, 9:06 am. 6 Comments. Filed under Education, Opinion, Unions.

At this point in time, the only reason I see anyone going into the education field is for the perks. It’s not to actually educated our children, they want those lovely union benefits. Ok, perhaps not ALL, but once the new teacher walks into the class room, he, or she, is stifled by absurd rules on what they can, and cannot, teach. Truth means nothing, it’s all about the indoctrination of the kids, and the power of the government run education system.

Have you had an occasion to talk to an elementary or middle school student recently? I have, and I have to say, I’m appalled at the LACK of knowledge. Some can’t even put two words together to create a coherent thought, and spelling? Dear Lord in Heaven! Apparently, it is no longer a requirement to know how to spell words correctly. And this is what we call ‘education’? I don’t freakin’ think so! Take the power over our children away from the unions and the government, and they MIGHT have a fighting chance. Leave things the way they are, and we’ll have another generation of ignorant kids, and that is the future of our country? Oh HELL no! I’d be afraid to have them flip my burger at McDonald’s, much less attempting to run a business, or even a popicle stand! The can’t add or subtract without a calculator? Seriously? Are they never taught to use their brains?

The CHOICE belongs to the parents….NOT the unions, and not even the clown in chief!

Friedman’s Legacy of Fighting for School Choice for All
The Foundry

On the late Milton Friedman’s 100th birthday today, his words are truer than ever: “There is no respect in which inhabitants of a low-income neighborhood are so disadvantaged as in the kind of schooling they can get for their children.”

And the news from many parts of the country is disheartening. Despite a new school choice option for students in Louisiana, a teachers union there has threatened to sue private schools that accept voucher students this fall. Unions have fought school choice initiatives because they see options for students eroding their power structure.

The Administration is also fighting students’ best interest. Instead of promoting what works—school choice, empowering parents and students—President Obama just issued an executive order last week creating a new federal bureaucracy to single out African-American students for more government meddling in their education. The order states that:

substantial obstacles to equal educational opportunity still remain in America’s educational system. African Americans lack equal access to highly effective teachers and principals, safe schools, and challenging college-preparatory classes, and they disproportionately experience school discipline and referrals to special education.

The new White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for African Americans is supposed to “help expand educational opportunities, improve educational outcomes, and deliver a complete and competitive education for all African Americans.”

#NBCFail: Backlash as Twitter locks out reporter Guy Adams

The US television broadcaster NBC was at the centre of controversy last night after it persuaded Twitter to suspend an Independent journalist who criticised its coverage of the Olympics.

Guy Adams, this newspaper’s Los Angeles correspondent, was removed from the social networking site on the day that he wrote a news story detailing widespread public complaints about the network’s coverage of the London Games.

I use to be an avid Olympic watcher, but that was before it was no longer an amateur competition. Once they brought in the professionals…that was pretty much it for me. I still like watching the opening ceremonies, well, except this year’s socialist fiasco, and some of the events still hold some interest, but other than that….I could really care less.  It’s all gotten too dadburn political….even for me.  :?

According to Twitter, he was suspended for a message posted during the Opening Ceremony, when NBC prevented viewers of America from watching live coverage, so that the network could screen the occasion during an evening prime-time slot coveted by advertisers. “The man responsible for NBC pretending the Olympics haven’t started yet is Gary Zenkel,” wrote Mr Adams. “Tell him what * think!” His tweet then contained the work email address of Mr Zenkel, the President of NBC Olympics.

Twitter claimed last night that the tweet breached its guidelines.

“Your account has been suspended for posting an individual’s private information such as private email address, physical address, telephone number, or financial documents,” the company informed Mr Adams. “It is a violation of the Twitter Rules.”

Does NBC have a controlling interest in Twitter? I thought it was a program developed by some guy, and his family was involved…or some such thing. Can’t remember now. Posting corporate email addresses is against their rules? Then someone better tell all the political types as well, and have their accounts suspended.

Now, to be perfectly honest, I can understand the delay of the opening ceremony. There is a, what….6 hour difference, and most folk are at work during that time. Perhaps if they had done real time, we wouldn’t have been subjected to the nonstop commercials. (For those who were unable to watch it in real time, NBC could have repeated it later, right?) It was the WORST coverage of an Olympic opening I’ve ever seen. And I’m not talking about the content of the ceremony itself, I’m talking about the chopped up presentation by NBC!

“Either way, [it's] quite worrying that NBC, whose parent company is an Olympic sponsor, is apparently trying (and, in this case, succeeding) in shutting down the Twitter accounts of journalists who are critical of their Olympic coverage.”

News of the suspension sparked tens of thousands of angry messages on Twitter, including comments supportive of Mr Adams from BBC journalist Jeremy Vine, and Piers Morgan, the former editor of the Daily Mirror who now works for CNN. The novelist Irvine Welsh posted the the following comment online: “The Guy Adams twitter ban illustrates three tendencies of hegemonic power; 1) hates criticism, 2) takes itself seriously 3) no sense of fun,” tweeted.

Well, I’m not a journalist. To be honest, there are so few real journalist left, it’s hard to say who is what, but if NBC is going to push for suspension of Twitter accounts of those who are critical of their Olympic coverage, or for any reason, actually….we DO still have a 1st Amendment, don’t we?….then they might as well suspend mine too, cuz I’m criticizing NBC’s totally sucky coverage as well. But then, I rarely get on Twitter anymore, so honestly, I don’t give a flip.

In a statement, NBC said: “We filed a complaint with Twitter because a user tweeted the personal information of one of our executives.”

Sorry NBC….that’s total caca de toro! Every single one of your execs has the SAME email address… @nbcuni.com. The only difference is the names that are before.  Took me all of 3 minutes to look ‘em up!

Oh, and seriously….the coverage of the events…..do the commentators have marbles in their mouths?  I’m not watching much, but there are a few events I still enjoy.  Well, no more.  I couldn’t understand a damn thing those clowns were saying about the participant, or the event.  I had NO idea what was going on, why the crowds were cheering.  How about getting a couple of professionals to comment, and a new sound guy wouldn’t hurt either!

Yep….#NBCFail……BIG time!
