Christians Can’t Be Democrats…..PERIOD!

Dems move to include gay marriage support in official party platform

Democrats are moving, for the first time, to include support for same-sex marriage in the official party platform at their national convention.

The decision comes after President Obama became the first sitting U.S. president to voice support for gay marriage, and as party officials try to build the anticipation ahead of the convention set for early September in Charlotte, N.C.

Sources told Fox News that the Democrats’ platform drafting committee voted unanimously to include the language backing same-sex marriage at a meeting in Minneapolis over the weekend. The next step would be for the full platform committee to take it up in Detroit next month. From there, the plank would go to convention delegates in Charlotte.

If you are God inspired, Bible/Torah believer….meaning Christian or Jew….you can NOT be a Democrat.  It’s just that simple!  I don’t care if your mama and daddy always voted Dem.  This isn’t the same party they supported…although sadly, likely they were just as racist then as the Dems are now.

Contrary to what the left, aka Dems, would tell you, Christians don’t hate gays.  We do, however, pray for them!  It is not our job to be judges, but it our duty to point out the errors.  A directive, so to speak.  So, when the Democrat party (they are NOT democratic) pushes every vile thing under the sun as being okie dokie, it is our duty to bring them to the attention of others, in hopes that there will a Light shining towards the correct path.  It’s not that complicated.

Murdering the unborn, condoning acts considered an abomination, stealing, coveting…these are things condoned, and even promoted by a group of people who have obviously lost their way.

So, I will repeat….if you profess your faith in God, if you proclaim Jesus as the Living Christ, you can NOT be a Democrat.  When it comes right down to it, you can’t be one of those elitist, establishment Republicans (RINOs) either.  Compromising principals of faith? Nope! The problem is, if we are to have any hope of returning to our Judeo/Christian foundings, we’re going to have to continue to nudge that Rock uphill, and it’s not going to be easy. When you have the MSM, hate groups like the SPLC, and disgusting Soros funded groups like Media Matters, fighting you every inch of the way, the work will be daunting. BUT, there are more of us than there are of them, so if we all pitch in, we CAN, and WILL get there…..with the Grace of God!  One step at a time.

One of the things I like about the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod is that they still stand on absolutes.

If the Pastor is Gay, the Pastor is done.

If you are living with your significant other and want to become a member of the church sorry no can do.

Killing from the moment the sperm hits the old Egg Cell, is an ABORTION no ifs ands or buts.

I would like to make a point, that I often think Christians (which includes me) often get wrong.

It is not wrong to judge.  When it says “Judge not, lest you be judged.” it is not saying for us to suspend our system of beliefs or to be neutral in all things.

In fact one of the spiritual gifts is the spirit of discernment.  And all of us discern every day on many levels.  Which friends we want to associate with, which job is right for us, which car we want to buy, which store we will frequent, and so on and so forth.

Often non-Christians take the “Judge not …” quote out of the Bible and throw it into our faces.  As Christians it is our duty to know what that was talking about, in what context, and how to rebut the simple (but, unfortunately effective) silencing technique of that phrase being thrown in our faces.

Explaining that it is an admonishment not to be hypocritical, or to judge by a standard we find “all is good” when we are delivering judgement, but think is tyranical when on the receiving end is far different than not judging good from evil at all.

And, again, were we not CALLED to “judge” (use our discernment, and the sprit thereof), how could we use the wisdom we glean from our experiences in life.

Just wanted to add that – hope it is of some use.

Admonish…yes…but there is One who will be doing the judging, so I leave that to Him.  :)

FG, I use to be a member of WELS….after being insulted, called some rather not very nice names by another member for walking in a parade with the county GOP, I never went back.  Now a member of the most politically INcorrect church you can imagine.  LOL

My wife and I considered visiting a WELS church at one point.  When I told her she could not vote or hold any position in the church, the answer was forget it.

Yeah…found that odd m’self, but didn’t want to get that involved anyway.  My church now, women aren’t high on the food chain, but we still have a vote.  It’s that “Paul” thing I guess.  Honestly, the dude had some serious issue with females.  *shakes head*
