An Ol' Broad's Ramblings
I Support Chick-Fil-A

Since the closest restaurant is in Jackson, it made perfect sense! I had really been looking forward to showing my support in person, but I guess it will have to be in spirit. But the next time I’m in Jackson? You can COUNT on me stuffing my face with some of their yummy food! Whether I’m hungry or not! Wonder if I can talk him into bringing home a variety? Probably not…he doesn’t like crowds, and I can pretty much guarantee…there WILL be crowds!
Ya know what bugs me? Savannah is just a few miles away, and it has every fast food joint you can think of, except Arby’s and Chick-Fil-A. They shut down the KFC a few years ago. Rumor has it, wasn’t up to health codes. Not to mention the service was horrible! There’s a McDonald’s, Burger King, Wendy’s, Hardee’s, Taco Bell, Jack’s, Long John Silver’s, A&W, Sonic, Pizza Hut, 2 Subways and even a Papa John’s (who won’t deliver out here cuz we’re one mile too far). There’s even a Baskin-Robbins! And this all in a town of about 8,000. Sheesh! But the two places I actually like, and would frequent? Nope….
Ah yes…the joys of living in Podunk! ![]()
So, if you’re anywhere near Jackson, TN today….there are 3 locations for your convenience.

2 Old Hickory Mall, 2021 N Highland Ave Ste A3 Jackson, TN 38305
3 Vann Drive, 3 Stonebridge Blvd Jackson, TN 38305
There are 12 over there in the Memphis area….not all in Memphis proper. Thirteen in the Nashville area, and even one down in Tupelo. You can go to Chick-Fil-A’s site, put in your zip code, and VIOLA! Find the one that is closest to you, and go chow down!!

It’s always gratifying to see Progressive smears backfire on ‘em: 585,000 Sign Up For Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day
Don’cha just love it!
Thing is, I read that the gays are going to show up on Friday and do some public smooching. *roll eyes* Yeah…that’ll go over well.
You maybe should be grateful you didn’t make it to Jackson. From what I heard, line in the drive-thru line was an hour long, and police had to be there to direct traffic.
What I don’t get about it is the conservatives who are getting mad about the liberal attempted boycott. To me, it’s free market principles at work. Don’t like a business, don’t shop there. Don’t like a tv show or channel, change the channel.
Then there’s the other aspect of the free market – if you want to support a business that someone else is boycotting, you can start a shop at ___ business day and blow the boycott out of the water.
Apparently, there were lots of folks who blew that one out of the water…all around the country! LOL
The difference, as I see it….libs try to put people out of business if they don’t agree with one thing or another. Cathy stands on his Biblical principals, and that just drives them nuts. Can’t have that, y’know! It might prove them to be in the wrong! Conservatives, at least those I know, don’t boycott to put anyone out of business, attempt to destroy lives, etc. I don’t like a product, I’m not going to buy it. I don’t like the owner, or producer of the product, I don’t give a flip….1st Amendment and all that. I just won’t support THEIR donations to anti-Christian organizations. I’m sure not going to make a national uproar about it. However, if the product they produce, is the only one on the market, and I need said product…. I’m going to buy it.
I think the point was that there ARE people out here in the real world who do NOT agree with the leftists, even though they are MUCH louder, and a whole lot more obnoxious, and showing support for someone’s 1st Amendment rights was a pretty good way of showing it. I loved all the pictures of the LOOOOOOONG lines…all over the country!
