I missed this, so I’m posting it. And FYI…it’s pronounced wah’-ke-shaw. How do I know? Cuz I lived there! Drives me nuts to hear news people mispronounce the names of cities in Wisconsin.

Ryan is being accused of being untrue to his non-govt intervention beliefs because he voted for the GM bail-out.
There is a large GM assembly plant in his district and I think it was a case of him doing what was best for the people in his district.
GM going under and closing that plant would have caused a great deal of hardship to the people he was elected to represent.
One thing I know about him…he DOES remember who his bosses are….unlike most in Congress. The area would be devastated if that plant closed.
