Team Obama breaks precedent to try to spoil Romney’s convention in Tampa
Bucking protocol, President Obama and the Democrats are planning a full-scale assault on Republicans next week during their convention.
Presidential candidates have traditionally kept a low profile during their opponent’s nominating celebration, but Democrats are throwing those rules out the window in an attempt to spoil Mitt Romney’s coronation as the GOP nominee.
President Obama, Vice President Biden and leading congressional Democrats have all scheduled high-profile events next week to counter-program the Republican gathering in Tampa, Fla.
Even first lady Michelle Obama is in on the act, scheduling an appearance on the “David Letterman Show” smack in the middle of Romney’s nominating bash.
Good manners and common courtesy are a thing of the past! Well, at least when it comes to the left. Never in my life have I seen such a bunch of spoiled, whining brats, outside of a daycare center! When Obama said he was going to bring about a transformational change in America, those of us who were actually paying attention, knew this was not going to be a good thing, but we thought it was just political. Little did we know that Obama & Co. were going to bring back the upheaval of the 60s…ten times over!
If those of us on the right were to behave in such a manner, disrupting everything the left did, acting like pigs, destroying private property, you know they would be screaming from the rooftops about civility. Civil? Pfft! The last thing the left is would be civil. Lying, cheating, stealing, destroying….that’s your left. The ME generation has taken society to new lows, and just when you think they can’t get any lower….there they are….even farther down in the sewer.
I wonder if they are aware that the majority of American people are fed up with their antics? No, probably not. Spoiled brats don’t care about anyone but themselves, what they want, when they want it, and it doesn’t matter to them how they get it. It’s rather sad when you watch an entire portion of the population on such a path of self destruction. What’s even more sad….they want to drag the rest of down in the gutter with them, whether we want to go or not. In truth, I see these people as ‘domestic terrorists’, hell bent on destroying the same country that has given them the right to act like fools.
I’ll continue to pray for these children, but honestly, I don’t think it’s going to do much good. Sad. Very sad.
All you said is true except one thing..”I wonder if they are aware that the majority of American people are fed up with their antics?” Sad to say but the majority of American people are happy with the way thing are going. Being a majority don’t make them right, it just makes it legal.
I dunno…. they are a very LOUD minority, IMHO. But we are getting louder.
