In regard to Ch 2, the Rock-Star Professor, I can say with certainty that means that he was teaching very little, giving easy quizzes, being a buddy for his students, and telling them what they wanted to hear. I have many years experience as a college professor, and I’ve seen that sort many times. They teach next to nothing, the students love them because they are “easy and fun” (and I such add, worthless in terms of educational content). Most students, at that age are looking for easy credits, and a likeable, fun teacher beats a serious, teaching teacher every time, even though they are a complete waste of tuition dollars.
Totally useless for any actually learning purposes, eh? Yep…had one of those m’self. And as we all have come to learn, this guy is pretty much useless in all areas.
