An Ol' Broad's Ramblings

Non Expert on the Final Debate

After a very long day of driving to and from Jackson for a 15 minute scan of cats (CT scan), the Mr and I sat down to watch the third Obama lie fest, also known as a presidential debate.  Joy.  I’ve never had a blood pressure problem, but I gotta tell ya, last night had me wound up tighter that a yo-yo!  And that was AFTER taking pain meds.  :?

Ok, so what did I honestly think?  We’re honest here, right?  Bob Schiefer didn’t do as bad a job as what I had expected.  He did attempt to reign in Obama when he just HAD to give his “I’ll make it quick” speeches.  Although he wasn’t always successful, he did try.  Governor Romney, on the other hand, was more successful in behaving like an adult, which isn’t all the surprising when you consider he WAS the only adult in the debate.

I learned nothing new.  I don’t know about you, but I’m of the mind that Obama could get some new material, based more on truth and reality than what he spits out on his stump speeches.  When he continuously repeats, pretty much word for word, the same lies that have been PROVEN to be lies, over and over and over…whether in a speech or debate, it makes for some seriously boring viewing.   He seems to be incapable of giving a direct answer to a direct question.  Think Libya!  He still refuses to give direct answers, and contrary to what some of the extreme left talking heads have been saying, it IS an important issue, and NO, we are NOT going to “move on”!

While Romney didn’t give his best performance, he was still head and shoulders above Obama.  He didn’t smirk, grit his teeth, or express anything condescending in either his responses, or his body language.  He started out slow, thanks in large part to Obama’s petulant behavior, but ended up pretty strong.  Has anyone made a count of how many times each interrupted the other?  While Obama attacked with sound bites, Romney attempted to give clear and concise responses.  It’s difficult to debate a petulant 4 year old, and Gov Romney showed a great deal of patience.  Personally, I would have had to reach across that table and do a Gibbs on the kid.

I was a little disappointed in some of Romney’s responses to a few questions, like dealing with countries that hate us.  I’m sorry, but diplomacy won’t work with countries like Iran, and it sure won’t work with the billions of Muslims whose only purpose in life is to destroy the U.S. and Israel.  If he has read the Quran, he’d know that.  There are no moderate Muslims, just ones who let the jihadis do the job for them.

Others have picked apart the responses, and done a much better job than I could (see below).  Unfortunately for Mr Obama, there are a great many of us out here in the real world who know he lies, and has from the beginning.  Thankfully, many more are waking up to that fact.  I just hope it’s not too late!  The media on the other hand is nothing more than the Obama propaganda machine, and those who still have some common sense left would do well to avoid them.

For the record, Mr Obama, this is a picture of a Marine.  Please note the long sharp pointy thing at the end of his weapon.  THAT is called a “bayonet”.  Please attempt to learn a few facts, K?

(Sorry…posted wrong pic previously.)

And…for those of you who missed it, or are a glutton for punishment, here is the debate in its entirety:

Romney/Ryan – 4

Obama/Biden – ZIP

I don’t think BO spoke the truth on a single thing last night. Every time his mouth opened, lies just gushed forth. Truly, the truth is not in him. He is a pathological liar, he has not ability to speak the truth at all. He simply has not connection to the truth; it is not a part of him (BO) at all. I was just thoroughly disgusted and nauseated after listening to the whole thing; I can only listen to so many lies before my stomach simply turns. BO is simply vile and evil; he must be stopped.
I have a sign in my front yard that says:
Obama Is Evil/Stop Him/May Jesus Save/Us From Obama
The sign has been stolen once, but fortunately I had two made, so I simply put the second one out a day later. It is still there.

You had it made?  Should have made more that two.  Could have sold ‘em!  LOL

We learned the hard way to take our signs in every evening, after having 2 sets stolen in 2004.  Wisconsin libs are notorious for attempting to squash everyone else’s 1st Amendment.  Consider the young man who got beat up for trying to stop thieves from stealing his signs last week!  That’s quite typical of the WI libs.  Vandalism, theft, assaults…all in their playbook.  *shakes head*

Yep, it was hard to watch, but we suffered through the entire thing.  Well, I did….the Mr had to get up and walk away a couple of times.  But I bet my BP went up about 40 points.  My normal is 100/60.  :D

I honestly believe Obama is the first step towards Isaiah.  sigh…

I have never suffered from high BP but last night we ALL suffered from high BS… I think you know what that stands for… :P

The military still uses horses  also Mr. Obama…as in a song by Tommy Cash..”six white horses coming to take you home”…soon I hope!  I know I know as a Christian I should not feel that way but it looks like its him or us.

Totally understandable.  Personally, I wish his mother ship would hurry up and come back to get him and that classless harridan he calls a wife.
