Our Nation is based on “Natural Law.”
from The Bunker
If you are like me and have gone through twelve years of schooling, college and many years of life and never been told or taught Natural Law you are about to be informed. This fact should be self-evident as to the intentional deception perpetrated on the public by an education establishment that knows the truth.
Let me give you my understanding based upon my own studies.
First, let’s get one thing out of the way because it has probably already crossed your mind. That is the issue of slavery during the formative years of our country. Today’s academics and so called constitutional scholars have leapt upon this dichotomy to discredit the entire Declaration, Constitution and Bill of Rights. Again, it is a known distortion that is used to sway the populace away from the truth. The Founders knew they needed the support of the southern states because without them the suicide pact of revolution they were forming would surely fail. The very fact that the concept of Natural Law was used as a philosophy in the formation of our Nation ensured that the issue of slavery would dissolve on its own un-natural weight. The fact that the southern states were convinced to sign on to the Declaration and succeeding documents was a victory for the abolitionists. Thomas Paine’s “Common Sense” (The most read pamphlet of the time) was a primer on Natural Law and convinced enough colonists that our Nation was on the right path. It informed the people that any law that did not conform to Natural Law was unjust and would not stand. This argument was used again by Martin Luther King. You can read his speeches and references to Natural Law are quite apparent. History shows that the Civil War occurred less than one hundred years after the Constitution. Martin Luther also won his battle against the un-just and un-natural laws.
…just had to copy and paste! The hypocrisy of the left never ceases to astound me. You’d think I’d be use to it by now, but…. sigh…

Mormonism doesn’t work for me. I just wanted to get that straight, right off the bat. I have serious doubts about the timeline of events proffered by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I just can’t swallow the idea that the Son of Man rolled away the rock and then ascended into heaven, only to make a pit stop on the other side of the planet. It’s not that I doubt that Jesus could have dropped in on the loincloth-and-human-sacrifice set; but if He did, His lessons clearly didn’t take — until Hernán Cortés and his Spanish legions reinforced it at the end of a musket. I likewise find the details of golden plates and seer stones pretty dubious.
But here’s the really cool part: I don’t spend time thinking about LDS doctrine, nor do I have to. Mormons are welcome to believe whatever the heck they want; the last time I checked, that’s the American (not to mention Constitutional) way. And I would have guessed that the Democrats would move to the front of line to join me in dismissing attempts to criticize any candidate based on his religious beliefs. After all, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) shares the Mormon faith espoused by Governor Mitt Romney; and I have heard no howls of derision pouring forth from the left regarding Reid donning any “magic underwear,” promoting polygamy or otherwise planning to impose his faith on those of us who prefer the booze to contain actual alcohol.
As for specific threats against the U.S., the cable warned the intelligence was not clear on the issue, cautioning that the militias in Benghazi were not concerned with any significant retaliation from the Libyan government, which had apparently lost control in Benghazi. A briefer explained that they “did not have information suggesting that these entities were targeting Americans but did caveat that (there was not) a complete picture of their intentions yet. RSO (Regional Security Officer) noted that the Benghazi militias have become more brazen in their actions and have little fear of reprisal from the (government of Libya.)”
It really can’t be much more plain than that! The ‘militias’ running rampant, local government has no control, and any Westerner, particularly Americans, are all wearing bullseyes for the Muslim lunatics. Wouldn’t a rational people say “Hey…we need more security in that area! Get the Marines on the job!” Then again, we don’t have rational people ‘in charge’, do we! Four more Americans are dead. How many more will die before we can get some REAL leadership in Washington, D.C.?
Gosh! Who Knew? /snark
Yes, we know the current occupant of the White House is a criminal. He’s actually a lot more than just a criminal, but for this post, let’s just leave at the criminal aspect of the influx of rules and regulations. Barack Insane Obama and his regulatory czars have done more damage to this country in less than four years, than ALL the previous occupants combined. It’s more than just the ObamaCare enema that was forced on us. The damage to businesses have all but driven out the most die hard. When the Democrats complain about companies taking the jobs overseas, remember what this administration has foisted on them. If I had a business, I’d certainly find a better place to actually DO business than the U.S. right now.
Now, he’s ignoring the law by refusing (?) to release the last two rounds of business and economy crippling regulations? Who gave him this power to ignore the law? As best I can tell, it’s a combination of Congress, and the people who refuse to tell the spoiled little boy NO! That would be US! He’s also just TAKEN the power away from Congress through executive order. Basically, we don’t have 3 branches of government anymore…we have one…that would be the executive branch. And it has become more and more like a dictatorship. Isn’t it past time we removed such an evil being from the PEOPLE’S White House? We absolutely cannot afford another 4 years of Obama’s ‘rule’. If you think the last four have been bad, just let him have another shot at it…we will be destroyed, in more ways than one. Vote him out! Impeach him! Pitchforks and torches! Whatever it takes….HE MUST GO!
After three years of hyper-regulation, the Obama Administration has noticeably slowed its rulemaking in recent months. A variety of major rules have been parked in prolonged “review” by the White House, while the regulatory agenda required by statute has failed to materialize—twice. This flouting of the law is disturbing enough, but it’s made worse by the mounting regulatory uncertainty that has ensued.
Congress mandated a regulatory agenda from each agency in 1980, under the Regulatory Flexibility Act. The statute calls for release every April and October of a summary of all rules likely to have a “significant economic impact” on a substantial number of small firms. Subsequent executive orders extended the requirements to all regulations under development or review by some 60 departments, agencies, and commissions.
President Obama has ignored both the April 2012 and October 2012 agenda deadlines. The last agenda from the Administration, with 2,676 regulations, was published in fall 2011. The President’s neglect of the law contradicts his promise of an “unprecedented level of openness in government transparency.”
Notice of upcoming regulatory actions is an essential tool of government transparency and accountability. The agenda enables citizens to participate in the rulemaking process, businesses to plan, and Congress to engage in oversight. The stakes are especially high now because of the hundreds of rules yet to be finalized relating to the Dodd-Frank financial regulation statute and Obamacare.
