The Night….

I decided I wasn’t going to be glued to the idjit box all day (or snoop the interwebs), so we didn’t even turn on the news until a few minutes ago.  After what little I’ve seen of the results, I’m not as optimistic as I was this morning.  I am praying that by the time this is all over, the numbers will improve in the RIGHT direction.

After the last four years, I would have hoped there would have some serious waking up across the country.  Apparently, I put too much faith in the American people.  At least half of them.

Pray for our children!  They will never know liberty.

But at this point, I do not believe that Romney should concede as yet.

Decision Day

Yes America…today is the day WE, The People decide whether we choose liberty or tyranny. Choose wisely!

I’ve read often enough that an evangelical can’t vote for Mitt Romney. Hogwash! I am, and I did. Do people even know what an evangelical Christian truly is? I’m not sure even evangelicals know. *shakes head* Reading and learning has taught me quite a bit, and if the truth is going to be told, the Mormons are closer to what evangelicals preach (rather than DO) than evangelicals themselves. Sure, they have added to the Scripture, and I find that disturbing, but the actions of one Mitt Romney, Mormon and candidate for President of the United States, tells me all I need to know about the character of the man.

On the other side of the coin, the actions of one Barack Hussein Obama, pathological narcissist and current occupant of the White House, speaks volumes about his character, or lack there of!

Our Founding Fathers had high hopes for the future of our nation. We have surely disappointed them. Our lack of character, faith and honesty has created a society ruled by the very types of men (and women) that they fought so hard to eliminate in government.

Obama’s slogan “Forward”, very reminiscent of the paper associated with Karl Marx in the 1844, not to mention the publication founded by Vladimir Lenin in 1905. I don’t think this was a coincidence. He says we must go forward, and not backward. I, for one, want very much to go backward! Backward to a time when the U.S.A. was a land to be proud of, one that was respected, and where innovation was encouraged. I’d like to see a time where the children learned the TRUTH of our nation’s history, warts and all, and could learn from the mistakes of our fore fathers. I want to return to a time where God was first and foremost in the lives of every day people, and prayer and joy were celebrated in the public square.

Forward? Forward to the continued destruction of a once great nation? No. That is not a direction I choose to go. We have seen enough damage in the last four years, thank you very much. You tried your socialist agenda, and we have another failed example. Let’s not make the same mistake again. Albert Einstein defined insanity as “doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” Will we continue on this path of insanity, that has never worked, and never will? Or, will take a much tougher road, and rediscover the true meaning of being an American?

Today Is Your Day—Vote, America
The Foundry

In urging the delegates to a New York convention to ratify the U.S. Constitution in 1788, Alexander Hamilton emphasized the principal strength of the new Constitution: “Here, sir, the people govern.”

The federal government gets its mandate from the American people. You are in charge. Express your will: Vote.

You help govern your country through the exercise of your right to vote. As the U.S. Supreme Court has said: “No right is more precious in a free country than that of having a voice in the election of those who make the laws under which, as good citizens, we must live.”
