Friend or Foe 2012
Liberty Council has come up with their “Naughty or Nice” (.pdf) List for 2012. You know, those companies that like to make lots of money at Christmas, but don’t acknowledge just WHY they make lots of money. Christmas isn’t about money and getting presents anyway! If that’s why some people ‘celebrate’, they are going to be in for a very rude awakening!
Here’s the “Naughty” list:
77kids – never heard of ‘em.
Abercrombie & Fitch – hootchie store that smells like what I would assume a French whorehouse smells like
aerie – another one I’ve never heard of
American Eagle Outfitters – way overpriced anyway
Athleta – huh
Banana Republic – a third world country
EB Games powered by GameStop – heard of Game Stop, but not EB… whatever
Gap, Inc. – another overpriced place
Garmin – they don’t seem to have a problem with using Christmas music for their commercials. Wouldn’t have one!
J. Crew Outfitters – wonder if that’s why MO shops there.. Hmmm….
Old Navy – always thought their stores looked like bigger Dollar Generals
Piperlime – where are these places?
Polo Ralph Lauren & Ralph Lauren – always thought Ralph Lauren thought WAY to highly of his crap
RadioShack aka “The Shack® – typically avoid them because most of the sales people are down right clueless
Tractor Supply Company – have to have the Mr check out if ours has any reference… bird seed y’know
