60,000 patients put on death pathway without being told but minister still says controversial end-of-life plan is ‘fantastic’

Up to 60,000 patients die on the Liverpool Care Pathway each year without giving their consent, shocking figures revealed yesterday.

A third of families are also kept in the dark when doctors withdraw lifesaving treatment from loved ones.

Despite the revelations, Jeremy Hunt last night claimed the pathway was a ‘fantastic step forward’.

In comments that appeared to prejudge an official inquiry into the LCP, the Health Secretary said ‘one or two’ mistakes should not be allowed to discredit the entire end-of-life system.

But Elspeth Chowdharay-Best of Alert, an anti-euthanasia group, said: ‘The Pathway is designed to finish people off double quick. It is a lethal pathway.’

But the Brits have such a GREAT health care system!  Isn’t that what the morons on the left keep telling us, and why we just HAD to have ObamaCare?  Reckon no one thinks killing people is so bad, eh?  These would be the same types who are avid anti-death penalty, right?

Anyone remember the flap Sarah Palin got for mentioning ‘death panels’?  Well, they exist.  The elderly.  The sickly babies.  It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if they are using the Nazis’ ‘health plan’ for getting rid of undesirables, like perhaps the mentally ill, Down’s Syndrome, maybe even amputees.  Have cancer?  Too expensive to treat?  Adios!

When governments decide they have the ‘right’ to play God, to choose who lives, and who dies, we have already arrived in Hell.

If we as a people are allowed to kill unborn babies because it is an  inconvenience to the mothers/fathers  what makes us think that old people would not become an inconvenience at some point in time.

Well of course we shouldn’t be slaughtering babies either.  Personally, I’d like to impose the death penalty on every single one of those who kill babies, the elderly, etc.  That would be justice!
