Free Stuff

27 April 2012, 9:53 am. 2 Comments. Filed under 2012, Election Stuff, Feckless Weasels, Socialism.

This is probably the best way to describe the current situation I’ve ever seen.  So simple!

I have never heard this said as simply or as well. Class war at its best.

The folks who are getting the free stuff don’t like the folks who are paying for the free stuff, because the folks who are paying for the free stuff can no longer afford to pay for both the free stuff and their own stuff.

And, the folks who are paying for the free stuff want the free stuff to stop.

And the folks who are getting the free stuff want even more free stuff on top of the free stuff they are already getting!

Now… the people who are forcing the people who pay for the free stuff have told the people who are RECEIVING the free stuff that the people who are PAYING for the free stuff are being mean, prejudiced, and racist.

So… the people who are GETTING the free stuff have been convinced they need to hate the people who are paying for the free stuff by the people who are forcing some people to pay for their free stuff and giving them the free stuff in the first place.

We have let the free stuff giving go on for so long that there are now more people getting free stuff than paying for the free stuff.

Now understand this. All great democracies have committed financial suicide somewhere between 200 and 250 years after being founded. The reason?

The voters figured out they could vote themselves money from the treasury by electing people who promised to give them money from the treasury in exchange for electing them.

The United States officially became a Republic in 1776, 236 years ago. The number of people now getting free stuff outnumbers the people paying for the free stuff. We have one chance to change that in 2012. Failure to change that spells the end of the United States as we know it.

sigh…..

Once again, our candidate was selected for us. Now, I know there are some who are going to get all bent out of shape, claim to be standing on their ‘principles’ and all that. Well, I would ask….do your principles include making the country suffer through another four years of Barack Hussein Obama?

Look, no conservative, including me, is happy about this candidate. Ok, Romney is a good guy, and has some good qualities, but he isn’t what any REAL conservative would consider a first choice. :? Be that as it may, he is who we will need to support to start our nation on it’s way to healing. Note…I said ‘start’. To get anywhere, you always have to take a first step. Getting rid of Obama is the first step. Who replaces him is important, but not nearly as important as taking away all the power he has usurped for himself.

So, that being said….how ’bout we join together to achieve the goal of ridding the nation of that Marxist? K?

Senate Candidate Zach Poskevich In The Area

25 April 2012, 8:36 pm. No Comments. Filed under 2012, Election Stuff, Politics, Senate.

When I first met Bob Corker, I thought, perhaps, he really was a conservative.  Well, compared to Lamar Alexander, he is…but that’s not saying a whole lot.  It’s been over a year since I have heard anything about Corker’s primary opponent….Zach Poskevich….ANY WHERE!   Gee, I’m SO shocked.  /snark  Wouldn’t you think this would be something that the state and local news would cover once in a while?  :?

Apparently, Mr Poskevich is going to be in the neighborhood.  He was around today, but since I wasn’t aware, there’s not much point in posting what’s already past, is there.

Pray tell, why is it when anyone comes to Hardin County, they have to schedule their visit before some people are even functional??  Sheesh!  Well, who knows….maybe I’ll be up and about, and take stroll over that way to see what he has to say.  :D

Thanks Newt!

Gingrich to leave presidential race next Tuesday, sources say

Newt Gingrich plans to formally leave the Republican presidential race next Tuesday, senior campaign aides told Fox News, after struggling for months to turn around his sagging bid for the White House.

The former House speaker will “more than likely” endorse Mitt Romney when he makes his announcement to either suspend or end the campaign, a source said.

The decision comes after Gingrich huddled with senior advisers following the five primaries Romney swept on Tuesday night. Romney’s victories made it virtually impossible for Gingrich to secure the 1,144 delegates needed for the Republican nomination.

Ok, so we’re stuck with Romney. He obviously wasn’t ANY conservatives first choice. Come to think of it, he wasn’t any conservatives second choice either, but as per the norm with D.C. RNC elites, and the media, they picked our candidate for us, and now we are stuck with him. I’ll vote for him. I won’t be happy, but I will do it. We MUST remove Obama from office, and hopefully, start criminal proceedings on his entire administration.

Now, my question about Newt is this….why wait until next Tuesday? I mean, he’s never been the top guy through all the primary processes. Ok, he did have a couple of good nights.  Huckabee won 6 primaries, but had the smarts to know that the establishment was against him, and pulled out. I’m really surprised Newt has lasted this long. Sad that someone so obviously MORE intelligent than Obama won’t be able to debate him. I would have paid to see him wipe the floor with the Teleprompter King. Oh well. I wasn’t a huge Newt supporter, but I do like him.

Nope, I was for Herman Cain, Michelle Bachman…until she started getting on my nerves, and Rick Santorum. Romney is just the latest in a long line of ‘it’s his turn’ RNC flunkies, made up of more RINOs that even we can imagine.

The alternative to Romney? Four more years of Obama. we can NOT survive as a nation with any more of his ridiculous failed policies. He is bankrupting the nation, with the aid of Congress of course. No, our mess doesn’t fall squarely on his head, but as Truman said, “The buck stops here!” And Obama’s buck is always being passed along to someone else…mostly Bush. Inherited? Pfft! It may have been out of sorts, thanks to the two years of Dem control of Congress, but then along comes the community organizer and he managed to organize our country into total chaos.

So, I’ll thank Newt for his efforts, and hope he’ll have a place at the table in the NEW administration come next November/January 20, 2013, along with Rick Santorum.  Ron Paul would make a pretty good Treasury Secretary.  :D

Ok, This HAD To Be Copy & Pasted!

If people don’t pull their heads out of their hinders, and take a good hard look at the criminals in charge of this country, then we will no longer have a country, and evil will have won.

If you’re looking for light summer beach reading then do not, I repeat … do not … buy Katie Pavlich’s disturbing new book, Fast & Furious: Barack Obama’s Bloodiest Scandal and the Shameless Cover-Up.

Further, if you want to live undisturbed in Obama la-la-land, you need to put your tennis shoes on and run away from this tome. Indeed, Pollyanna, this book will smash all the windows of your enchanted little cottage and grind your rose-colored Obama glasses into powder.

Fast & Furious parlays into the public arena the scurrilous way the ATF, at the behest of the DOJ, allowed thousands of weapons to get into the hands of Mexican drug cartels. These firearms, in turn—as anyone with even half a brain can imagine—were used to slaughter thousands of Mexicans and to take the lives of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry and ICE’s Jaime Zapata.

Senate Democrats Once Again Violate Federal Law, Refuse to Offer Budget

Yesterday we pushed out a story about Obama’s No-Plan, No-Budget Plan and his complete loss of reality. Today we find out he’s not alone. His fellow ilk in the Senate apparently feel no need to actually do what they were elected to do. Senate Democrats will not submit a budget before November of 2012.

Note: Title of post comes from Washington Examiner. This is what we get from the ‘leadership’ of Runnin’ Harry Reid, one of the most useless human beings on the planet.  :?

Test of Fire: Election 2012

18 April 2012, 10:13 am. Comments Off. Filed under 1st Amendment, 2012, Faith.

This is a very powerful video put out by Catholics Called To Witness.  I’m not Catholic, but I do believe that ALL Christians should be called on to find out exactly what is going on in this country.  We have so called Catholics in Congress who push for baby murder, and yet are never called out on it.  If the Catholic church is serious about these issues, then it’s past time for them to excommunicate these people who put power and politics ahead of God.

I rely on my faith, not my denomination for guidance, as should we all!  They tell us religion and politics don’t mix.  They are wrong.  If we are expected to make informed decisions, then we should always look to God for guidance in making those decisions.  I hear Democrat politicians making speeches in churches, and wonder just how they have managed not to be struck by lightening.  :?   Then, I realize, if these so called churches are following the teachings of the Bible, they wouldn’t be having those Democrats walk through their doors.  But we know that there is a ‘great apostasy’ going on (1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,), and I can’t imagine anything more demonic that promoting the slaughter of babies, open homosexuality, and immorality.

ANYBODY But Obama

Ted Nugent Declares ‘I Will Either Be Dead or in Jail’ if Obama Is Re-elected

Ted Nugent is hitting the pavement for GOP president hopeful Mitt Romney. The rocker called for attendees of the National Rifle Association’s convention to go out and recruit thousands of people to vote for Romney in the coming election. Nugent said, ”Our government is wiping its a– with the Constitution.” During an on-site interview, he also told the crowd, ”We’ve got four Supreme Court justices who don’t believe in the Constitution. Does everybody here know that four of the Supreme Court justices not only determined you don’t have the right to keep and bear arms, four Supreme Court justices signed their name to a declaration that Americans have no fundamental right to self-defense? That sounds like a stoned hippie. That doesn’t sound like a Supreme Court anything.” The musician went on to say: ”If Barack Obama becomes the president in November, again, I will be either be dead or in jail by this time next year.” A representative for Nugent didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

It’s been no secret that Mitt Romney is not my first choice as candidate for POTUS. In all reality, I had a tough time making a decision on any of ‘em. There were things I liked about all of the original candidates, and things I couldn’t quite abide. Examples: Ron Paul gets high marks for his fiscal sanity, but his foreign policy would have us isolated from the rest of the world, and that just doesn’t cut it. Michelle Bachman is one smart woman, extremely conservative, yet the more I heard her speak, the more put off I was by her.

If you haven’t guessed, I am EXTREMELY conservative, but not all conservatives think alike, anymore than all women are the same, or all children come out of same cookie cutter. We do disagree on certain points, but as a whole, those who are conservative are more concerned with the state of our flailing nation under the ‘leadership’ *roflmbo* of the Obama administration, than our own personal agenda. This country will not survive another four more years of the anti-American POTUS. In all honesty, we’ll be damned lucky if we will be able to recover in 40 years from the damage already inflicted. Another 4 years of the radical leftist and there will be no turning back!

So, if it comes down to Mitt being the official nominee, then I will vote for him. ANYBODY but Obama would do a better job in aiding our recovery. The reputation of the USA has been tarnished, respect is at an all time low, and we have become the laughing stock thanks to the Apologizer!

I will say, that the RNC elites have made a major mistake is just assuming we will blindly follow along with their agenda. IMHO, I would suggest that we start working on a third party strategy now, and allow the RNC fall go the way of the Whigs. They have ceased to be the party of Reagan, and do not express the views of the conservatives. A RINO is no better for this country than a flaming liberal, it just takes them longer to get to the point of no return.

There is one major difference between Obama and Romney. Romney actually DOES believe in the Creator. Obama believes he IS the creator.

The Quote of the Decade

15 April 2012, 1:06 pm. Comments Off. Filed under 2012, The ONE.

“The fact that we are here today to debate raising America ‘s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America ‘s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that, “the buck stops here.’ Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better.”

~ Senator Barack H. Obama, March 2006 ~

Oh…I don’t FREAKIN’ think so!  I agree though…. we DO deserve better!

Playing Politics With OUR Money

In this clip, you see a stark contrast between 43 and 44. Then they slap up a poll and tell us folks would trust Romney more with the economy, and Obama more to protect the middle class. :? Well, which is it? I’m getting a very sinking feeling…one I’ve had, day after day, after day, after day…starting on the night of November 4, 2008. We really are a nation of morons!

Without those evil rich folks, there would be no middle class. Is that Obama’s intent? To completely destroy those of us in the ‘middle class’. Personally, I don’t see myself of any ‘class’. I’m an American, and I want and need, what is best for the country as a whole. When the rich do well, the rest of us do well. With one exception….those who have been feeding off the teat of the taxpayers, from one generation to the next.

IF Mitt Romney is the nominee, and IF he is able to take the White House from the Marxist in chief, I expect to see a much quicker turn around in the economy, with private sector job growth. I say IF because I seriously doubt the unions, and that a foreign owned company (Spain) will let our votes actually count.  Just who decided a foreign company could, or would, ensure that our elections would fair?  This is a FOREIGN company…not a U.S. company, that, IMHO, would do its utmost to make sure ever vote counts.  I am at the point where I don’t believe Obama will allow himself to be defeated, by whatever means necessary. There will be voter fraud out the wazoo, and of course, that useless piece of crap holding the highest law enforcement office in the land will turn a blind eye, just like he has done, time and time again. It wouldn’t surprise me one single bit if the head honchos at the DOJ are sitting in their ‘ivory towers’ right now, coming up with plans to basically steal the election from the American people.

Obama is not a leader. He is a campaigner. That’s what he does, day in, day out.  He is incapable of reason and logic.  He’s been campaigning since he managed to steal the Senate seat back in 2006, and evidently, he doesn’t know how to be a leader. All those ‘campaign promises’? Hot air from an empty suit. I was willing to give him a chance. Well, he had his chance, and he blew it! He has succeeded in one area though….the ‘blame game’. You see, none of his worthless policies have worked to turn the economy around, so, naturally, it’s someone else’s fault. “BUSH DID IT!” After 3 1/2 years, don’t you think it’s time for him to pull up his big boy pants, and take responsibility for his own actions?

To quote Charlie Sykes:  Life isn’t fair, get over it!  Everyone has the same opportunities to succeed.  It’s our choice whether or not we make use of those opportunities.  Success isn’t counted in dollar signs.  Success is what you do with your life, if you are happy, if you have filled that huge hole in your life, if you share joy with others, if your respect yourself, and raise your children to be productive, to respect themselves, and look toward yourself to meet your own goals.  THAT is success!

Apparently, the current occupant of the White House has never understood exactly what America, and Americans, stand for.   He was not raised in the country during his formative years, and those ‘role models’ he had while growing up, obviously didn’t understand the concept of liberty whatsoever.  They were incapable of understanding the principles taught in the Bible, and having a ‘pastor’ such a Jeremiah Wright was no help in setting him on the path of Truth.  He obviously has no idea what the true meaning of both the Declaration of Independence, and the United States Constitution.  The warped sense of self is great in ‘the ONE’.  And he is obviously unfamiliar with the word ‘NO’.

Keep your powder dry!

The Anti-American American President

27 March 2012, 8:04 am. 9 Comments. Filed under 2012, Crime, Opinion, The ONE.

treason – noun

1. betrayal of country: a violation of the allegiance owed by somebody to his or her own country, e.g. by aiding an enemy.
See also high treason  1. treason against homeland: treason perpetrated by somebody against his or her own country

2. treachery: betrayal or disloyalty

3. act of betrayal: an act of betrayal or disloyalty

Synonyms: sedition, treachery, disloyalty, subversion, betrayal, duplicity, high treason

My personal opinion….when is his trial?  Because NO ONE should be sitting in the Oval Office, betraying the American people and/or our allies.  I was willing to wait till he is voted out of office, but more and more, I get the feeling this just won’t happen.  Not that I don’t have confidence in the voters…for the most part, I do.  Even the ignorant can’t be so blind they are unable to see the damage that man has done to this nation.  However, I do NOT trust Obama and his minions in the unions, who have already proven they’ll do anything, include lie, cheat and steal to get and retain power.

Obama Whispers Away America’s Security
The Foundry

It is hard to overstate the dangerous implications of what happened this week when President Obama was caught by an open mic sending a message to Russia’s dictator-in-waiting to wait quietly till after the November elections, after which Mr. Obama could make concessions on America’s national defense. The White House is trying to explain this incident away as par for the course in an electoral year. It is not.

Here, in essence, is what it appears to be: this was our commander in chief in league with an anti-American autocrat to dupe the American public until after it’s too late. What makes it even worse is that the issue at hand–missile defense–has to do with protecting the American people against the likes of Russia.
