Just One Story Of Millions

26 April 2013, 9:22 am. No Comments. Filed under Borders, Opinion.

Every family has a story. When did they come, how they came, were they here to meet those ships way back when, were they brought here against their will? I’ve told mine several times, so I’ll refrain from repeating myself. Needless to say, they came legally, or were here to meet the ships.

Have you ever been to big party, or outdoor concert? Depending on the venue, you were either invited, or you paid for your ticket to enter. Some people don’t want to have to pay for the ticket, so they stand outside, and when no one is looking, they crash the gate. Mayhem ensues, and the event is ruined for everyone who paid (or were invited). The gate crashers have a high ol’ time at the expense of the paid or invited guests. Their actions are criminal…vandalism, trespassing, assault, and some get trampled to death. THAT is our current situation, with regards to current ‘immigration’.

People invited, or asking for an invitation, to the event have stood in line, waiting their turn, only to be told they must wait a lot longer because of the gate crashers. Does this seem like a fair way to run an event? Once in the door, if they ever get there, they voluntarily contribute. Unfortunately, part of what they contribute are in taxes to support those who were NOT invited, or have received an invitation (refugees), but do nothing to contribute.

There is something so royally screwed up with this scenario! Do we need reform? Yes, as a matter of fact, we do. We need to reform our way of thinking. Well, the administration does, that’s for sure! We need to reform this catch and release nonsense. We need to secure our borders. We need to invite those who will contribute to our society and assimilate. Those who won’t, need to be ‘invited’ to leave.

The criminals are creating an element of prejudice. Yes, I do have prejudices towards those who sneak break into my home, trash my furniture, kill my children, and expect me to feed and clothe them.  I am offended that our government actually believes WE should support those who come illegally, no matter what country of origin, and be happy to do so.  I am doubly offended by those in the general population who believe the same.  “No human is illegal”?  Well, when you break the law, you ARE a criminal, and should be treated as such.

Many who come really are looking for a better life, a brighter future for their children, and are will to work to achieve that goal.  However, far too many who come see this country as a ‘free ride’, and are no better than leeches, expecting…no…DEMANDING “rights” they have not earned.  Why should people, who have been waiting for years, even decades, who have skills that would contribute to our society, to the benefit of all, have to be shoved to the back of the line in order to accommodate the criminals leeches?  The answer is simple:  THEY SHOULDN’T!

Why My Family Came to America
Jessica Zuckerman – The Foundry

More than any other nation in history, the United States has made itself a new home for immigrants in search of a better life. It embraces those who come to this country honestly—often with nothing more than their work ethic—in search of the promises and opportunities of the American Dream.

As a second-generation American, I think of this promise often. Each and every day, when I see my grandfather’s Ellis Island records hanging on my wall, I remember what he went through to come to this country. I remember how he left behind all he had ever known in Hungary to escape discrimination and the destruction left in the wake of World War I; how he gave up everything so that he could offer his children and grandchildren the promise of freedom and opportunity in a new land.

“….fear the people….”

I’ve highlighted the names of the “gang of eight” so you won’t forget them. If you want to read this bill, also known as JOLT ACT of 2013, you can read the whole text of gobbledy gook here.  While there are a few issues that MUST be addressed, and should have been a LONG time ago, the is a lot in this bill that shouldn’t even be considered!  At some point, I just might go through the whole 844 pages, and address those, but for now, do your own homework!  :D

IMHO, they should have made issues addressed in the Congressional Findings (Section 2) THE bill, and left the rest for another time, when we are back on our feet, so to speak.

(1) The passage of this Act recognizes that the primary tenets of its success depend on securing the sovereignty of the United States of America and establishing a coherent and just system for integrating those who seek to join American society.

Our ‘sovereignty’ has become a really bad joke.  And as for ‘integrating’?  Waving the Mexican, or other foreign flags, DEMANDING ‘rights’, is not integrating.  Refusing to learn the language of the land is not integrating.  Bringing ‘third world’ habits and policies and insisting WE adapt to YOUR way, is not integrating.

(2) We have a right, and duty, to maintain and secure our borders, and to keep our country safe and prosperous. As a nation founded, built and sustained by immigrants we also have a responsibility to harness the power of that tradition in a balanced way that secures a more prosperous future for America.

Well, our borders are NOT secure, and we are NOT safe.  The drug cartels have made themselves quite at home in cities like Chicago, a place where murder is so common place, with some of the strictest ‘gun control’ laws…in the world…it has become a poster child for how NOT to run a city, county….country!

These are the two major issues that should have been addressed, and the rest left to other bills, broken down individually, instead of lumping the whole chit works into one bill.  Congress has a real bad habit of throwing in crap, and this bill is no different.  Address these issues FIRST.  Get the border secured, which will take YEARS, and remove the criminal element from out streets.  Shoot the sons of beeches if necessary, but get them away from our children.  Does it make sense for a legal citizen, or resident, to fear for their lives every time they walk out their front doors?  HELL NO!  So, why aren’t those in Washington concerned about US?  Because it’s all politics!

No self respecting member of the U.S. Senate would EVER introduce such garbage.  Then again, we have no self respecting representatives in the government anymore, and they SURE don’t respect us!  WE want our borders secured, immediately, but this is not a priority.  WE want our streets safe from criminals, and criminals removed, but this also, is not a priority.

What is the priority?  Votes.  11 MILLION new voters, the majority of whom will make sure we continue to lose our God given, Constitutionally guaranteed, liberties by assuring that the Democrats>liberals>progressives>socialists>commies will have a strangle hold on power.

This bill, as is, is something this country can’t afford, financially, or morally.  I’ve heard so many spewing on the idjit box how “no one is an illegal person’.  Well, they are wrong.  Being a person isn’t illegal.  Breaking into someone else’s home, expecting them to feed, clothe, take you to the doctor, and pay for all your wants and whims IS illegal, is IS a crime.  Handing over the keys to the house is just plain ignorant!

“Former House Majority Leader Dick Armey (R-TX) once noted that three groups spend other people’s money: thieves, children, and politicians—and all three need supervision.”  Politicians have shown themselves to be both childish, and thieves.  It’s way past time for WE, The People to regain control of our country, and OUR money!  Any politician that fails to uphold his/her oath of office should be run out on a rail!  WE need to put the fear of God back into them, and the fear of us!

“When governments fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny.”  Thomas Jefferson

American Families Cannot Afford the Cost of Amnesty
Derrick Morgan – The Foundry

Our nation is going broke, and now is not the time to increase burdens on American families.

The Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act (S. 744)—commonly called the “Gang of Eight bill” after the eight Senators who came up with it, Charles Schumer (D-NY), Dick Durbin (D-IL), Robert Menendez (D-NJ), Michael Bennet (D-CO), John McCain (R-AZ), Jeff Flake (R-AZ), Marco Rubio (R-FL), and Lindsey Graham (R-SC)—includes amnesty for some 11 million unlawful immigrants. That amnesty would further burden taxpayers and weaken our fiscal situation. Congress should not rush to pass the bill without understanding the cost to the American taxpayer, especially when key research identifying and calculating those costs is nearly complete.

We have more than $12 trillion in public debt and tens of trillions of dollars more in unfunded obligations that we have no way to afford, thanks to promises made by past and present politicians. With this in mind, today’s political leaders must consider the fiscal impact of amnesty and a path to citizenship that would enable millions of unlawful immigrants to qualify for costly welfare and entitlement programs.

The Ivory Tower Gang

I expect this kind of nonsense from John McCain, Lindsay Graham, Chuckie Schumer, and the typical roll call of Dems. To say I am more than disappointed in Marco Rubio and Jeff Flake, ESPECIALLY Rubio, would be like me saying “I don’t like fish.” I really DON’T like fish, and anyone who knows me, knows I definitely do not like fish! (no, one has nothing to do with the other…just a statement of fact)

We, the Constitution supporters, put a lot of faith in Rubio. Many worked long hard hours to get him into the Senate. People around the country sent money they could ill afford to help in the effort. This is how the people are repaid? With more garbage? More taxes? Amnesty???? To reward criminals? How is this a positive move for ANYONE other than the criminals themselves, and the politicians?

We have laws on the books. You commit a crime, you pay the penalty. It’s not that complicated. Yet, these 8 weasels are throwing out those laws, putting more of a burden on the people who came to the country legally, in whichever century, and giving a free pass to those who believe themselves above the law. We have a border. There’s a reason why man created fences. Good fences make good neighbors. Our fences are broken, and our neighbors aren’t ‘good’. They’ve trashed our yards, killed our ‘family members’, and cost billions in tax dollars.

We were promised a fence. Then, we were promised a ‘virtual fence’. We spent an extremely large amount of money. They tell us “It didn’t work”. The solution is simple. Build a physical fence, a very tall, sturdy fence, with razor wire, electrify the fence, and if necessary, put gun turrets every 20 yards along that fence. If that doesn’t work, there are always land mines, moats filled with alligators, piranhas, or some similar nasty creatures. If the tribes along the border have a problem, two words….imminent domain. After all, Congress has used that for reasons OTHER than what it was created, why not use it for the purpose it was intended? And if the EPA has a problem, you tell ‘em to live down there, and deal with the criminals hauling drugs across our borders to poison our children. I can guaran-damn-tee, they’ll change their tune quicker than you can say jackalope!!

It’s a well know fact that government doesn’t “fix” anything. They create more problems with their “fixes”. They are worse than a child with a screw driver in a room full of expensive electronics!

Do they truly want to solve a very serious problem? If so, they can scrap that 844 page piece of crap, bring out one very clean sheet of paper, and start writing:

1. Build big fence.
2. Hire more border guards (uniforms Made in U.S.A., not Mexico).
3. Arm said guards to the teeth, with live ammo, not rubber bullets, or freakin’ bean bags.
4. “Shoot to kill” orders, if said criminals don’t turn their sorry asses around and go home.
5. All student and non immigrant visa recipients will wear tracking devices. If such person, or persons, overstay their visa, said device will emit an ear piercing screech, notifying all those around them, they are now illegal. If device is not removed within a certain period of time, while wearer is boarding a plane, etc., device will then explode, leaving the wearer quite maimed. Very few muslims will be allowed to enter the country, and those who get the privilege, will wear two.
6. No immigrant will receive any compensation from the American people. They will work, or go home.
7. No muslim, from ANY country, will be given ‘preferred status’. Saudis status to be revoked. Israelis will now be given such status.
8. Profiling will now be implemented. Grandmothers and small children will no longer be groped and humiliated.
9. All mosques and muslim schools will be closed, plowed under, and the earth salted.
10. The official language of the United States of America is English. No signs, ballots, official documents, etc., will be printed in any language but English. Learn the language, or go home.

There! I’ve gotten them started. See how easy that was? No pork projects added!

Top 5 Problems with the “Comprehensive” Immigration Bill
James Carafano – The Foundry

The good news is Congress cares about trying to fix our flawed immigration system and broken borders.

The bad news is they want to do it with a solution that looks a lot like Obamacare—the “Gang of Eight” 844-page-plus “comprehensive” bill.

The sad news is that such an “easy button” solution will not improve our immigration system.

History shows that big bills designed to solve everything wind up creating as many problems as they address. They become loaded with payoffs for special interests and often introduce measures that work at cross purposes.

The “comprehensive” bill fails at the start. Here are the top five reasons it cannot be fixed.

Damn It All! We Don’t Need Reform….

2 April 2013, 9:30 am. Comments Off. Filed under Borders, Crime, Illegals, Opinion.

…we need to ENFORCE the laws we already have on the books! Here’s an overview for ya. If Nappy would do her damn job, maybe McCain, and other members of the so called “gang of eight” wouldn’t have literally watched a woman climb over an 18ft fence to break into our country! Thankfully, the border patrol (dressed in uniforms made in Mexico) picked her up…..for all the good it will do!

It’s past time to remove the jurisdiction of the border from DHS (a Bush decision btw), and bring back the INS. These socialist political appointees are destroying the country.  Not a ONE of ‘em has yet upheld their oath of office, and all should be removed.  Instead, the Senate keeps confirming the basturds!

Side note:  I have been trying for the last two hours to get the actual law of the land concerning immigration, illegals, etc., to load.  For some reason, NONE of the sites I have attempted to load, and link, will come up.  Interesting, eh?

So, on that note, I’m gonna just leave it at that before my frustration level (after only 45 minutes of sleep) gets any higher.  ENFORCE the law, build the damn fence, and shoot any sons of bitches that tries to cross our borders illegally.  They are criminals….PERIOD!!

Adding pic:

Cruz

FINALLY!! Here are just a FEW of the laws this administration is NOT enforcing because of that sieve we call a border!  These criminals are bringing diseases we eradicated years ago, and yet……

What Immigration Reform Must Do
The Foundry

Immigration is a difficult issue—there’s no getting around that. How do we encourage and improve lawful immigration, while deterring unlawful immigration?

David Addington, head of Heritage’s Edwin Meese III Center for Legal and Judicial Studies, takes on this question just as the Senate’s “Gang of Eight” nears a deal on a new bill. He writes:

The U.S. should reform its immigration system through a careful, step-by-step process that welcomes lawful immigrants, encourages their full participation in American life, and expands opportunity. The process also must prevent unlawful immigration, encourage respect for law, secure America’s borders, and preserve America’s sovereignty.

Heritage has described this step-by-step process for a problem-solving approach to immigration issues, such as reform of the lawful immigration system, visa reforms, lawful temporary worker arrangements, and strong border and interior enforcement.

Broad federal declarations usually don’t work, and a one-size-fits-all immigration policy is not the way to go.

“Border Security” A Joke

How secure is the border? DHS stats only measure part of the problem

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano testified to Congress last month that the border “has never been stronger.” What she doesn’t say is that the department no longer measures illegal immigrants who get away — only those it catches.

“For two years, Secretary Napolitano has claimed our southern border is secure without having any metrics in place to make that determination,” Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, told Fox News on Monday. “Such statements demonstrate her lack of leadership and unwillingness to solve the problem.”

The Department of Homeland Security is about the most useless bureaucracy in the federal government.  The homeland is NOT secure!  We are being invaded on a daily basis, and that dumb broad flaps her gums, spouting lies about just how well her department works in keeping us safe.  Pfft!  Between DHS and the DoJ, the criminals are now running the show!

In response, the Department of Homeland Security argues staffing levels are at an all-time high, while Border Patrol apprehensions remain at historic lows, a downward trend it claims “reflect fewer individuals crossing the border.” Apprehensions are down 79 percent since 2000, and 50 percent since 2008.

I’ve no doubt the numbers are down because of the catch and release, or just don’t catch at all! Like I said….totally useless!

But those numbers alone mean little and one congressional aide called them a sticking point in immigration reform negotiations. “It’s like the juggler who tells you he can juggle three balls, but fails to tell you he dropped five. Apprehensions alone are meaningless. It could mean fewer people are crossing or you’re just missing a larger share of those who do cross. We don’t know.”

Apparently, it’s a requirement of anyone working for this administration to play fast and loose with numbers. Math obviously isn’t their strong suit.

Exactly what defines a “secure border” is critical as Republicans and Democrats inch closer to an immigration overhaul. Some lawmakers insist on border security first, as a pre-condition for any form of amnesty or legalization. The problem is, the Department of Homeland Security has no reliable or accepted metric to measure border security. That presents a problem for lawmakers who do not accept the administration’s claim the border is safe and secure.

Janet Napolitano is about the most incompetent person in this administration, and that’s saying something. The majority are incompetent, including the POTUS!

“There are areas of the border that have never been worse and never been more dangerous,” said Arizona rancher Dan Bell. “Every time someone mentions immigration reform we see a spike. We see more people coming through. And that is the case now.”

but yet, the claims that the border is secure keep being spewed!

“The canyons, the valleys, the mountains of Santa Cruz County, that is where the activity is now,” admits Santa Cruz County Sheriff Tony Estrada. “The activity has shifted from urban to rural areas.”

But in his next statement referring to Nogales:

“In my 45 years in law enforcement I have never seen it more secure than it is now,” Estrada said.

Yeah…because there is a major presence of Border Patrol agents, and vehicles. However….

But outside of the city, ranchers and agents tell a different story. Smugglers are mobile. Their routes are fluid and change every hour, relative to border patrol units, cameras and towers.

Wouldn’t it be a good idea to increase the number of agents in the rural areas? And how about that fence? Add to it a few gun turrets…every 20 yards or so! The Constitution states quite plainly that it is the job of the federal government to keep the citizens safe. Wouldn’t it be nice if they had been doing their job? How many citizens would still be alive if they had?

2 US border agents shot, 1 killed, near major drug corridor in Arizona

Two U.S. Border Patrol agents were shot, one fatally, Tuesday morning in an area in south Arizona known as a major drug-smuggling corridor, authorities said.

The identities of the agents were not immediately released, but the shooting occurred at the Brian Terry Station near Naco, Ariz., which is just south of Tucson. The station was named after an agent who was killed in the line of duty in December 2010. The area is considered a remote part of the state and sources tell Fox News that the shooting occurred at 1:50 a.m. local time and about 8 miles from the border.

The agents who were shot were on patrol with a third agent, who was not harmed, according to George McCubbin, president of the National Border Patrol Council, a union representing about 17,000 border patrol agents. The agents were on horseback at the time of the shooting.

It is time for the government to do their REAL job, and keep this country safe from the wild animals.  It’s also way past time for them to take responsibility for the deaths of all Americans killed by the hands of the criminals they have allowed free reign.  If it take putting moats and land mines in their KNOWN paths of entry, then that’s what needs to be done!  Gun turrets would come in real handy as well.  And shoot to kill!  Enough with the pandering to a foreign government and it’s criminals!

My prayers go out to the families of those killed and injured.  My heart breaks because the bunch in D.C. don’t take the American lives lost seriously.  And I’m angry that they refuse, or are incapable of keeping us safe.  The Border Patrol puts their lives on the line each time they go out, with no appreciation from their ‘boss’.

Criminals

8 August 2012, 7:28 am. Comments Off. Filed under Borders, Crime, Dhimmicrats, Illegals, video.

People who break into your home, are released on a regular basis. The REAL criminals are in D.C., at the very top of the food chain.

First, we start by throwing out those in power…charge them with a variety of crimes, which they HAVE committed. Then, we start rounding up all those who have made it a habit of breaking our laws by crossing the borders, breaking into our home, bringing in terrorists, etc. We shoot the child rapists, and clear out the drug smugglers from the prisons, give them an overdose of the poison they peddle, ship the rest back across the border, and shoot anyone who attempts to come back, without our permission!

Harsh? Yeah…maybe…but at this point, I don’t give a damn! If the government, who is charged by the Constitution of the United States to keep the homeland secure won’t do their job, then they need to be fired, charged with criminal neglect, and a new administration put into place that WILL uphold the laws of the land!

Calling an illegal invading alien an ILLEGAL invading alien. They are not immigrants. An immigrant is someone who goes to a different country….LEGALLY! They follow the legal process. Those who do not, are ILLEGAL! It doesn’t matter where they come from, they are breaking the law. They are ILLEGAL! They are CRIMINALS! There is nothing ‘racist’ in calling a law breaker, illegal. Why do these Hispanics think it’s ALL about them? Yeah…maybe they are the majority who cross our borders ILLEGALLY, which means they are breaking the law, which means they are criminals. Why are LEGAL immigrants from south of the border fighting so hard to change reality? Are they really that ignorant? These left wing loons are aiding and abetting criminals, and should be charged accordingly. And, FYI….Hispanic is not a race, anymore than those from the Middle East are a race. Don’t they teach ANYTHING in school anymore? Or is all just the Communist Manifesto, An Inconvenient Truth, or as it should be accurately called, Inconvenient Lies, or some such other equally destructive work?

In case this….female…and her left wing loon cohorts are unacquainted with an English dictionary, I’ll give them a little assistance:

Mirriam Webster
adjective – not according to or authorized by law, unlawful, illicit; also not sanctioned by official rules

Bing Dictionary
adjective – against law: contravening a specific law, especially a criminal law; against rules: not allowed by the rules of something (such as a game); not permitted by computer: not permitted in a computer program

Dictionary.com
adjective – forbidden by law or statute; contrary to or forbidden by official rules, regulations, etc.

The Free Dictionary (Collins English Dictionary)
adjective – forbidden by law; unlawful; illicit; unauthorized or prohibited by a code of official or accepted rules
noun – a person who has entered or attempted to enter a country illegally

Did you know the Spanish word for illegal is….drum roll please…..ilegal?  And the Arabic?    Just thought I’d toss that in.

Well, I’m sure you get the picture.

Don’t you people have something better to do?  I dunno…like maybe YOUR JOB?

Isn’t the purpose of DHS to keep the homeland safe?  Well, y’all are failing miserably.  The border is NOT safer and we have criminals sneaking in on a regular basis.  So, instead of snooping conservative bloggers, how ’bout y’all get up off your collective hind ends, and get the damn criminals OUT of the country, and stop the terrorists from invading!  They really DO want to kill us y’know, and I’d be mighty grateful if y’all could put a stop to their entering through both the northern and southern borders! I have a great grandson on the way, and I’d really like to know he will be entering a safer nation.  Of course, I know that isn’t going to happen.  Why?  Because y’all can’t be bothered to protect our borders.  sigh….

Oh, and I’m quite aware y’all pop by at least once a month.  Nothing has changed on this end.  Any changes on your’s?  Naw…didn’t think so.  I sure will be glad when we finally get a REAL DHS after 1/20/13!

Why is it necessary for the Tennessee Legislators to introduce bills that requires driver’s license exams to be in English? That should be a given, considering that is what we speak! HOUSE BILL 454 and SENATE BILL 10 do just that, but I have to ask, since the House Bill was introduced in December of 2010, why has this not been passed and signed into law? I realize that gubmint moves really slow, unless they are sucking money out of our pockets, then they can get things moving in at the speed of light. Common sense law? Meh….not so much!

Latinos Upset With Obama Over Deportations, Still Likely to Vote for Him

The Pew Hispanic Center published a report Wednesday showing that Latinos dislike President Obama’s deportation policies. Obama has roughly doubled the number of deportations of illegal immigrants since taking office. Regardless, Latinos do not see Republican candidates as offering a better alternative and will likely vote for Obama in high numbers again.

Fifty-nine percent said they disapprove of the way Obama is handling deportations, according to the Pew Hispanic Center’s survey of 1,220 Latinos in the United States. Only 27 percent approve, and 13 percent said they do not know or refused to answer the question.

The number of deportations of undocumented immigrants has risen dramatically under Obama. On average, the Obama administration has deported close to 400,000 immigrants each year he has been in office. This is about 30 percent more than the number of deportations during President George W. Bush’s second term and about double the number of deportations during Bush’s first term. This is despite the fact that illegal immigration, and apprehensions of illegal immigrants, is lower than during the Bush administration due to the economic recession.

You mean to tell me that people who came here legally, or have been in this country for generations, of Hispanic origin, are pro-criminal?  If that’s the case, the I’d suggest they just say so.  Because that’s what we’re talking about here…criminals.  They break into our home, demand we feed, clothe, and take care of their medical bill, pay for their education, and this is ok?  I don’t freakin’ think so!

And FYI….they aren’t immigrants…undocumented or otherwise!  They are illegal invaders!  They have broken our laws, and should NOT be rewarded!

Also, considering that Latinos are typically Catholic, explain to me why so many vote for Democrats.  Life is suppose to be precious, yet the Democrats are all for murdering babies.   They are also quite pro family, yet Democrats have spent the last 40+ years doing their darnedest to destroy families.  Latinos are typically very hard working folks, yet the Democrats want everyone to be dependent on the government for sustenance. Seriously, it just doesn’t make a bit of sense! :?

Illegal Aliens, In-State Tuition and the Law
The Foundry

Consider it an illegal fringe benefit for illegal immigrants. Today, 12 states allow individuals who are in the United States illegally to pay the same in-state tuition rates as legal residents of the state without providing the same rates to others in the country who are here legally. And those states are doing it in direct contravention of federal law.

In a new paper, Heritage’s Hans von Spakovsky and Charles Stimson explain that in 1996, Congress passed–and President Bill Clinton signed into law–the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act. Under Section 1623 of the law, state colleges and universities are prohibited from providing in-state tuition rates to illegal aliens “on the basis of residence within the State” unless the same in-state rates are offered to all citizens of the United States.

“By circumventing the requirements of § 1623 these states are violating federal law, and the legal arguments offered to justify such actions are untenable, no matter what other policy arguments are offered in their defense,” von Spakovsky and Stimson write. Which states are on the list? The offenders include California, Texas, New York, Utah, Washington, Oklahoma, Illinois, Kansas, New Mexico, Nebraska, Maryland, and Connecticut.

Initiative would let illegal immigrants work in Calif. legally

Nearly 1 million undocumented immigrants could live and work openly in California with little or no fear of deportation under an initiative unveiled Friday by a state legislator and others.

Well, if they know there are 1 million illegal aliens in the state, why don’t they rent a bunch of buses, and tote them back to the border?

Assemblyman Felipe Fuentes, a Democrat, is helping spearhead the measure, called the California Opportunity and Prosperity Act.

Of course he’s a dem.  :?

The proposal was filed Friday with the state Attorney General’s Office, marking a first step toward a drive to collect the 504,760 voter signatures needed to qualify for the ballot.

Fuentes called the measure a “moderate, common-sense approach” necessitated by the federal government’s inability to pass comprehensive immigration reform.

We already have federal laws in place to deal with the criminals.  Common sense would be to ENFORCE THE FREAKIN’ LAWS!  Jeeeeeez!

“I hope this shows Washington, D.C., that if they fail to act, California will take the lead on this critical issue,” Fuentes said in a written statement.

Just like California has led the rest of the country down into the cesspool of socialism, eh?  They are broke!  Why?  Well, there are a couple of reasons.  One being the ridiculous unions are draining the taxpayers, and two, supporting the numerous criminal aliens, either through public education, medical care, or in the prisons.

Supporters say the initiative could generate up to $325 million in new tax revenue from undocumented workers that could assist education, public safety and other state programs.

And how many millions, or billions, could be generated if they’d just enforce the law?  Compared to what the state dishes out, that’s less than pocket change.

Regardless whether Californians would support such a measure, implementation would depend upon the federal government agreeing not to prosecute participants.

Seriously?  The state already ignores federal laws.  Sanctuary cities are a violation of federal law, and the morons in D.C. just turn a blind eye.

Assemblyman Tim Donnelly, a Republican, blasted the proposal as an attempt to sidestep immigration law. He predicted that it wouldn’t have a “snowball’s chance in hell” of winning voter approval.

“There’s a proper process for coming to this country,” Donnelly said. “Why don’t you respect that?”

Come on now!  Mr Donnelly, you should know the answer to that question.  Democrats don’t give a damn about the law.  From sea to shining sea, dems flout the law at every turn, whether it’s voter fraud, or lining their own pockets with taxpayer money.  They don’t even follow the laws THEY come up with, and always find a way around those laws we, as taxpayers, have to follow, or end up in prison.

The proposed initiative would apply to illegal immigrants who have lived in California for four years, have no felony convictions, are not suspected terrorists, pay a fee to administer the program, and can speak English or are learning it.

So, it’s ok to break our laws? And not only break them, but be rewarded? Coming into this country illegally is a crime!  If they want to come, do it the LEGAL way, and we’ll welcome you with open arms, and help you assimilate.  Come sneaking in the back door, and we don’t much care how you leave, just leave!
