Destroying America
Domestic production eyed as gas prices head toward record-breaking height
President Obama’s re-elect team defended White House energy policy on Sunday as gas prices shoot toward the $4 mark and beyond, a level that could devastate voters’ pocketbooks as well as Obama’s chances for a second term.
Nationally, gas prices are $3.53 a gallon, up 25 cents since Jan. 1, and likely headed to $4.25 a gallon by late April. Republicans have demanded more oil production at home, as well as building the Keystone XL pipeline across the middle of the U.S. to allow oil from Canada to reach Texas refineries.
Let’s see…when he took office 3 LOOOOOOONG years ago, gas was what….a buck 81, or at least in that vicinity. So, instead of using the resources we have right here, for AMERICANS, D’Bama makes it damn near impossible for U.S. companies to drill and refine, yet hands over billions, of OUR money, to companies that go bankrupt in a matter of months. Not to mention letting the Chinese drill in the gulf off OUR shores, and investing in a freakin’ Brazilian company, so we can BUY oil from another foreign source. Excuse me, but where is the logic in all this? Oh, that’s right….THERE IS NONE!
Obama rejected the plan, but one of his spokesmen, Robert Gibbs, said the president is looking to increase domestic energy production.
He’s got a damn funny way of showing it! 10 to 20 thousand jobs. Jobs that are desperately needed, and he suck ups to a bunch of yahoos who don’t have enough sense to piss out of a boot with the instructions on the heel. Give me a freakin’ break!
“Just on Friday, the Department of Interior issued permits that will expand our exploration in the Arctic. The president has increased our fuel efficiency and energy efficiency standards so we do use less energy, which will help drive down the price,” Gibbs said. “Our domestic oil production is at an eight-year high, and our use of foreign oil is at a 16-year low. So we’re making progress.”
Golly gee, the moron at the Department of Interior issued permits? To whom? How many? And when will those rigs that haven’t left the gulf going to be able to start pumping? Or have they all already left. Don’t hear much about that anymore. The EPA is running and ruining this country. The green tin foil hatters have more power over our energy production than a parent does over what the kid has for lunch. Does anyone else see a major problem here? We have gone through the rabbit hole and can’t find our way out! I vote we shoot the rabbits, have one huge BBQ and get on with living our own lives, and keeping the government OUT of EVERYTHING!
But John Hofmeister, former CEO of Shell Oil and founder of Citizens for Affordable Energy, told Fox News that oil production today is only 7 million barrels per day when it used to be 10 million per day.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!! Anybody home? Naw….they’re all out pushing for windmills that kills eagles, and solar panels that take up so much space, even that Boxer broad doesn’t want ‘em in her state! While Obama is shoveling OUR money to companies that have no hope of succeeding, investing in the future is what I think he called it, our present needs for energy is being totally ignored.
What happens when there is no oil/gas/energy? Well, the price of EVERYTHING goes up! It takes money to get products from point A, the factory that needs energy to run, to point B, where the consumer pays much higher prices because the company has to charge more to make up the difference in the cost of manufacturing and shipping! Now, if I, an lil’ ol’ broad in Podunk TN can figure this out….why can’t all those so called ‘intellectuals’ that the faker in chief has surrounding him get the BIG picture? Why? Because they don’t want to! They WANT to bankrupt the country! They WANT a completely different country, run totally by those who think they know what is best for everyone, and can run your life MUCH better than you can. And how are they doing that? Why, by crippling the entire country, of course! The more it costs to produce and distribute, the fewer jobs there are available. HELLOOOOOOO??!?!?!? Jack wagons!

Do They Actually Have Viewers?
While reading this piece by Pat Buchanan, I got to thinking…..Does MSNBC even have any viewers? Having never watched it myself, intentionally, I couldn’t really say what their claim to fame might be, other than having commentators whose cheese done slid off the cracker! YouTube is a wondrous tool, and that is the only exposure I’ve had to, as Rush calls it, PMSNBC. Those YouTubes are quite informative, giving a person a large taste of what is available on their broadcasts. Thanks, but no thanks! I prefer a bit more balance, not to mention sanity, in my news watching. Although, it is getting more and more difficult to find such on the ‘dial’.
When I first heard about Mr Buchanan’s dilemma, I was extremely curious as to why MSNBC would rid themselves of the one almost sane voice of reason.
A group called Color of Change, whose mission statement says that it “exists to strengthen Black America’s political voice,” claimed that my book espouses a “white supremacist ideology.” Color of Change took particular umbrage at the title of Chapter 4, “The End of White America.”
Hmm… Color of Change… Where have I heard that name before??? Oh yeah… Isn’t that the racist bunch founded by communist, Van Jones?
Media Matters parroted the party line: He has blasphemed!
And we all know how unbiased Media Matters is, considering they are a front group for billionaire George Soros, doing their darnedest to silence the one almost ‘fair and balanced’ cable new network, and several other conservative organizations. Notice I said almost. Even they seem to be listing to the left these days. 
The 1st Amendment right of free speech only applies to them, and only those who agree with the left. *shakes head* It doesn’t seem to occur to the leftards that if one group can be silenced, ALL can be silenced.
Read the entire piece by Mr Buchanan. It is quite disturbing that any news organization would allow groups with an agenda, ANY agenda, to be used in such a manner. But then, MSNBC isn’t really a “news” organization, and it, too, has an agenda….as a mouthpiece for all things to the left of sanity….aka the Democrat Party, and Obama & Co.

Three years ago today, President Barack Obama signed into law his trillion-dollar stimulus plan, a measure that he promised would save or create 3 million jobs by the end of 2010 and would prevent unemployment from ever going above 8 percent. And though the President today will likely claim that thanks to his efforts, the U.S. economy is surging, don’t believe him. The verdict is in: Obamanomics has failed.
But you don’t have to take our word for it. Yesterday, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) released a report offering an analysis of the last three years of the Obama economy. In short, the stimulus did not live up to the President’s promises.
The CBO writes that America’s unemployment rate has exceeded 8 percent since February 2009, making this the longest stretch of high unemployment since the Great Depression. To make matters worse, unemployment will remain above 8 percent until 2014. And the level of long-term unemployment — those looking for work for more than six months — is over 40 percent, the highest since at least 1948, when that data was first collected.

White House to Announce ‘Accommodation’ for Religious Organizations on Contraception Rule
With the White House under fire for its new rule requiring employers including religious organizations to offer health insurance that fully covers birth control coverage, ABC News has learned that later today the White House — possibly President Obama himself — will likely announce an attempt to accommodate these religious groups.
The move, based on state models, will almost certainly not satisfy bishops and other religious leaders since it will preserve the goal of women employees having their birth control fully covered by health insurance.
Sources say it will be respectful of religious beliefs but will not back off from that goal, which many religious leaders oppose since birth control is in violation of their religious beliefs.
America….We Have A Problem!
What is that problem? Well, the laundry list is long, but in this case, I’m talking about two bills, HR 998 and S 555, both titled “Student Non-Discrimination Act of 2011 – To end discrimination based on actual or perceived sexual orientation or gender identity in public schools, and for other purposes“. Of course, the usual suspects are all co-sponsors.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I don’t think anyone should be discriminated against, for any reason. I do, however, feel that making a certain group of people a ‘special class’ is ridiculous! It is more and more obvious that this country has lost it’s roots, and we are now floundering in the cesspool of ‘secular religion’. The intent of the bills on the surface, and I’m just guessing here, is to stop bullying. Well, we already have laws that are suppose to do that, as in ya don’t punch someone in the nose because they don’t think or act like you.
Congress evidently believes they can overrule God!
Leviticus 18:22 You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.
This is not the only passage in the Bible that sets down the law, but it is the most well known one.
A brief summary of what this bill will do (from an email from the Public Advocate of the United States):
*** Require schools to teach appalling homosexual acts so “homosexual students” don’t feel “singled out” during already explicit sex-ed classes;
*** Spin impressionable students in a whirlwind of sexual confusion and misinformation, even peer pressure to “experiment” with the homosexual “lifestyle;”
*** Exempt homosexual students from punishment for propositioning, harassing, or even sexually assaulting their classmates, as part of their specially-protected right to “freedom of self-expression;”
*** Force private and even religious schools to teach a pro-homosexual curriculum and purge any reference to religion if a student claims it creates a “hostile learning environment” for homosexual students.
In reality, the bills are promoting discrimination, but that’s not all that unusual for the radical left.
SEC. 5. FEDERAL ADMINISTRATIVE ENFORCEMENT; REPORT TO CONGRESSIONAL COMMITTEES.
(b) Enforcement- Compliance with any requirement adopted pursuant to this section may be effected–
(1) by the termination of or refusal to grant or to continue assistance under such program or activity to any recipient as to whom there has been an express finding on the record, after opportunity for hearing, of a failure to comply with such requirement, but such termination or refusal shall be limited to the particular political entity, or part thereof, or other recipient as to whom such a finding has been made, and shall be limited in its effect to the particular program, or part thereof, in which such noncompliance has been so found; or
So, let me get this straight…no pun intended…if a public school doesn’t doesn’t comply with this law, and put their (both student and faculty) eternal souls at jeopardy, the federal gubmint will cut off funding? Somehow, refusing to return OUR money to OUR schools just doesn’t seem right. Well, of course not…it’s wrong, aka LEFT.
Section 7, STATE IMMUNITY
(a) State Immunity- A State shall not be immune under the 11th Amendment to the Constitution from suit in Federal court for a violation of this Act.
So, a state can’t opt out of this obvious violation of the 1st Amendment? Am I reading that correctly? People are suppose to be free to speak their minds, practice their faith, and NOT be penalized. With these bills, a person can NOT practice their faith, or speak about it to others. But yet, the religion of government is free to impose their will on the American people. Does anyone else have a problem with this, besides me?
Please, go read BOTH bills. They aren’t very long. I don’t much care for bullies, of any gender, or status. What I am seeing in these bills is the bullying of the American people by the very Congress whose salary they pay.
There is a petition to Congress, opposing these bills, not that Congress gives a flying flip what WE, The People have to say, but it doesn’t hurt to give it a shot!

President Obama: ‘I deserve a second term’
President Obama in a pre-Super Bowl interview aired on Sunday said that despite being unable to completely turn the economy around in three years, he still deserves to be re-elected.
“I deserve a second term but we’re not done,” Obama told NBC’s Matt Lauer in an interview broadcast from the White House.
First question: Why does this fool think that anyone wanted to hear him bumping his gums on Super Bowl Sunday?
Second question: What on earth makes him believe he deserves a damn thing, other than our scorn?
Lauer noted that in a pre-Super Bowl interview three years ago, Obama had said “If I don’t have this done in three years, then there’s going to be a one-term proposition.”
Obama said that three years ago the economy was losing 750,000 jobs a month and the latest unemployment data from Friday shows. “Now we are creating 250,000,” he said.
Sorry, cooking the numbers doesn’t make it true. Why are there more people having to get food stamps now than ever before in our history? You said one term, we’re taking you at your word. You have NOT turned the economy around. As a matter of fact, it is worse! Even the New York Times has a problem with Obama’s numbers.
The Labor Department estimated on Friday that the economy gained 243,000 jobs.
The department also estimated that the economy lost 2,689,000 jobs in the month.
Let’s see…ya take that lost number, subtract that gain, and what do you get? A NEGATIVE! Which is what we’ve had for quite a while. The downturn started under Bush’s watch in 2007. What happened in 2007?

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Boston Mayor Thomas Menino will be sitting on a couch touting an issue most politicians avoid like the plague: gun control.
No, actually, what they want is people control. Control people, be a dick-tater.
The two mayors, whose local teams face off in the big game, are making the pitch for Mayors Against Illegal Guns (MAIG), the organization they co-founded in 2006.
I don’t suppose both teams could lose, just to give both morons a black eye? No, didn’t think so. I won’t be watching the game anyway….I’ll be at church…”Lord willing and the creek don’t rise”!
Murder has been on the decline in New York and other major American cities for years, but the mayors say they still see too many dead cops and teens. On Tuesday night, Bloomberg was at Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan visiting a New York police officer who had just been shot in the face in Brooklyn.
“We have someone who’s dedicated his life to protecting all of us, who has had a much too close brush with death tonight because of what appears to be an illegal gun,” Bloomberg told a news conference. He added that more Americans have been killed by illegal guns since 1968 than were killed in World War II.
I’m guessing Bloomberg doesn’t see the irony of that statement? ILLEGAL guns. Not law abiding LEGAL gunowners, but criminals, who can get their hands on guns about anytime they want….ILLEGALLY! Perhaps the weasel should reconsider allowing law abiding citizens to arm themselves, and push back against the thugs? Naw….that makes WAY too much sense. What the clown is doing, is violating the citizens of New York’s Constitutionally protected right to “keep and bear arms”. But that’s what libs do!
Unions – It’s About Power NOT The Worker
No one, and I mean NO ONE, should ever be forced to join something they are adamantly opposed to join. Nor should they be FORCED to support ideals that goes against their own principles. Unions staunchly support Democrats who staunchly support the slaughter of innocent babies. Should you be FORCED to support an organization that refuses you the right to support your family if you oppose them? I think not! EVERY state should have the freedom to work!

In 22 states in the Union, workers have the freedom under “Right-to-Work” laws to decide whether or not to pay union dues, and now Indiana is poised to become the twenty-third state on that list, bringing the workers there renewed hope in an economy that has seen few glimmers of light.
Last week, Indiana’s House and Senate passed a right-to-work bill after weeks of political maneuvering by pro-union politicians hoping to stop the proposal in its tracks. Today, the legislation returns to the state’s Senate for a final vote, and Governor Mitch Daniels (R) has promised to sign the bill into law. Meanwhile, a dozen labor unions have protested the measure, with threats to “occupy” the Super Bowl to be held in Indianapolis next week. Nationally, right-to-work states have become a target, as well. Last year, the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) took aim at the Boeing Corporation for its decision to locate a new factory in South Carolina, a right-to-work state. The NLRB attempted to stop Boeing from making fundamental decisions about where to do business — ultimately, it dropped the case after union negotiators reached a deal that benefited their members in a union state.

Police arrest about 300 Occupy Oakland protesters
Oakland police said they arrested about 300 people Saturday as protesters spent a portion of the day trying to get into a vacant convention center, and later broke into City Hall and tried to occupy a YMCA.
Police spokesman Jeff Thomason said most of the arrests came around 8 p.m. local time, when police took many protesters into custody as they marched through the city’s downtown, with some entering a YMCA building.
At about the same time police were taking people into custody near the YMCA, about 100 police officers surrounded City Hall, while others swept the inside of the building looking for protesters who had broken into the building, then ran out of the building with American flags before officers arrived.
Let’s see, breaking and entering, vandalism, theft. Does that pretty much cover it?
Oakland Mayor Jean Quan during a news briefing late Saturday said protesters had forced their way into City Hall, where they burned flags, broke into an electrical box and damaged several art structures, including a recycled art exhibit created by children.
Are they going to spout the tired line/lie “It’s for the CHILDREN”?
Police said the group assembled at a downtown plaza Saturday morning, with demonstrators threatening to take over the vacant Henry Kaiser Convention Center. The group then marched through the streets, disrupting traffic.
The crowd grew as the day wore on, with afternoon estimates ranging from about 1,000 to 2,000 people.
The protesters walked to the vacant convention center, where some started tearing down perimeter fencing and “destroying construction equipment” shortly before 3 p.m., police said.
Just because a building is vacant, doesn’t mean it doesn’t belong to someone. And unless that someone says you can move into it, then you are nothing more than a criminal. When you destroy someone else’s property, you are a criminal.
Police said they issued a dispersal order and used smoke and tear gas after some protesters pelted them with bottles, rocks, burning flares and other objects.
Most of the arrests were made when protesters ignored orders to leave and assaulted officers, police said. By 4 p.m., the bulk of the crowd had left the convention center and headed back downtown.
When you assault another person, whether they are LOE or a private citizen, you are a criminal.
The demonstration comes after Occupy protesters said earlier this week that they planned to move into a vacant building and turn it into a social center and political hub. They also threatened to try to shut down the port, occupy the airport and take over City Hall.
When you intentionally interfere with business, you are a criminal.
Hey…let’s face it! These occutards are nothing but criminal elements. They are thieves, liars and cheats. They want to take what belongs to someone else, and destroy it. How about they go home, and destroy their own property? They are a hazard to the general public, and if the mayor isn’t going to do her job, and watch out of the WHOLE city, then perhaps she needs to find another line of work.
This is no longer a 1st Amendment issue. Freedom of speech doesn’t cover destruction and theft! Here’s a thought. How about letting them into that vacant building, and lock the doors. It can be their jail. After all, isn’t that what you do with criminals? Put them in jail?

This week, all eyes are on South Carolina as the Palmetto State votes on Saturday in the next Republican presidential primary contest. Jobs and the economy are rightly being debated by the entire political spectrum.
It’s not the first time in the past year that South Carolina has been center stage when it comes to jobs in a country struggling to get back on its feet. Last year, the Obama Administration took aim at Boeing when the Seattle-based company sought to build a new assembly plant in Charleston, South Carolina, in order to produce the 787 Dreamliner. Enter the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), which filed a complaint against Boeing alleging that the company decided to build the plant in South Carolina out of retaliation for union strikes at its Washington state facilities.
At the center of the issue was the fact that South Carolina is one of 22 right-to-work states, meaning that workers there have the freedom to decide whether to join a union or not. Right-to-work laws block companies from firing workers for not paying union dues, thereby protecting employees’ right to work regardless of their support for unions. In the case of Boeing, the Obama Administration — by way of the NLRB — sought to prevent the company from making fundamental decisions about where to do business, all because it wanted to open a plant in a right-to-work state. (Ultimately, the NLRB dropped the case after union negotiators reached a deal that benefited their members in a union state.)

What the New Obama Labor Board Means for Workers and Employers

The framers of the Constitution required the President to get the consent of the Senate before appointing senior government officials. They wanted to prevent the President from appointing those who would abuse the public trust. President Obama’s purported appointment of Richard Griffin to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) yesterday illustrates the importance of this constitutional restraint.
One thing this administration has NOT shown, is ANY kind of restraint. As a matter of fact, it doesn’t appear that D’Bama even knows what’s in the Constitution, or, if he does, he doesn’t give a flip, and believes himself to be above said vital American document!
The union movement has a problem: Just one in 10 nonunion workers wants to join a union. Few workers believe that unions have much to offer, and even fewer want their company to wind up like General Motors. Consequently, private-sector union membership has fallen below 7 percent.
Fortunately in the right to work states, no one is required to join one of those increasingly communist organizations. However, it appears that the Obama adminstration is doing it’s best to change that.
The union movement wants to reverse this decline, but it does not want to fundamentally reform itself to appeal to today’s workers. So it has turned to the government to make it difficult for workers to decline its services. Unions lobbied Congress to end the secret ballot in union elections, forcing workers to publicly tell union organizers whether or not they wanted to join. Fortunately, that bill went nowhere.
When there are more non union workers, than union members, you’d think someone would get the BIG picture. Evidently, the nose on their faces has been blocked by their RED colored glasses.
Unions have now turned to the NLRB to boost their ranks—even though the NLRB is supposed to serve as a neutral arbitrator between unions and employers. President Obama appointed Craig Becker—former counsel for the AFL–CIO—to the board. Becker had an already-developed plan to use the board’s powers to increase union membership, and the board has been implementing this agenda.
It’s the National Labor Relations Board, NOT the Nationalized Union Board. This organization is suppose to concern itself with ALL laborers, not just the unions, but apparently, Obama has done his darnedest to change that fact. How is that Constitutional?
Unionized companies create fewer new jobs than nonunion companies. Union dues cost hundreds of dollars a year. Workers have the right to unionize if they want, but a government agency should not press them into it—and certainly not when former officials of those unions run that agency.
Unionized companies can’t afford to create more jobs due to the ever increasing demands of the unions, and their cradle to grave mentality. They want to be taken care of, instead of planning for their own emergencies, and retirement. You know, like in the REAL world.
Becker’s recess appointment expired at the end of the last session of Congress, and with it the activist majority on the NLRB. To replace Becker, President Obama nominated Richard Griffin, the general counsel for the International Union of Operating Engineers. Another union lawyer would continue the board’s agenda-driven activism.
I wonder if there is any way the Congress can dissolve this organization, considering there is no one, or too few representing ALL of the workers in this country? The non union workers far outnumber the union workers, which means there is a HUGE portion of the population whose concerns are NOT being addressed.
The Senate’s advice and consent powers exist to check such appointments. Senate conservatives are right to demand that the President nominate board members who see their mission as protecting workers’ rights, not increasing union membership. The President cannot constitutionally ignore their advice.
And yet….he does….on a regular basis. This administration has turned this country into a laughing stock by his blatant disregard of her Constitution, and the general laws of the land. It is definitely time to take our country back, and restore her to her previously proud Republic.

The Problem With The Occupy Wall Street Generation

Playing baseball games without keeping score. Parents not allowed to cheer for one side or the other at basketball games. Refusing to use red ink to grade tests because it’s too jarring. No dodgeball. Participation trophies. Telling kids, “You’re special,” without their doing anything to show they’re special.
Newsflash: You may be special to God, your mommy, and your teacher just because you were born, but the rest of us aren’t impressed.
The world doesn’t owe you a living, a promotion, or any special consideration at all. The people who tell you otherwise are doing it because they think you’re stupid, easy to manipulate, and they want to use you for their own purposes.
Oh, but what about the lucky ones, you say? The lazy, good-for-nothing punk kids who just happened to be born in the right family and live a life of luxury as a result?
What about them? There’s always a little bit of randomness in life. The woman who does everything right and gets hit by a bus before she ever gets her payoff or the guy who does everything wrong and seems to get every break. So what? Is the idea supposed to be that you should have everything you want in life handed to you on a silver platter even though you’re lazy and good-for-nothing because the Kennedy family exists?
Wait, wait, I forgot; you’re not lazy and good-for-nothing. Your teacher told you that you are special and so did your mommy.

Domestic Terrorists
A New York City police officer was slashed during Thursday’s “Occupy Wall Street” action– and a second cop was taken to a local hospital with an eye injury– after clashes between protesters and activists across lower Manhattan, sources told FoxNews.com.
Both officers are said to be in stable condition, although the incident marked an escalation of tension in the uneasy give-and-take between NYPD officers charged with maintaining order, and protesters determined to be heard.
We heard y’all just fine. Now shut up and go home, take a shower for the love of pete, and stop proving yourselves to be horses rumps! Try being a productive member of society, instead of leeches!
Obama & Company Must Be So Proud
No, actually, you are NOT the 99%! You are a small fraction of a country who is fed up with your filth. The 99% are the ones who are responsible adults. They go to work, obey the law, provide for their families, and raise their children to the best of their ability. You, on the other hand, are a bunch of lazy, shiftless, leeches.
