Yesterday afternoon, I had the pleasure of joining like minded Constitutional (and one leftard) Tennesseans at a forum on the 2nd Amendment. It was a packed house!
While looking for a parking place, I noticed a very large painting of Ronald Reagan on the side of a building. Trying not to run into anyone, after guessing it was the local Republican party’s headquarters, and of course, I was right. I didn’t get a picture of it (it was freakin’ COLD), but did find one in the Cookeville paper with the ad for the forum:

Apparently, Putnam County is one of the lucky ones to have a permanent building for the HQ.
After arriving, I got to chat with a few folks. I was pickled tink to see Paula and Publius again after so long! ALWAYS a good time! And I finally did get to meet their spouses as well. LOL We often wonder if the other halfs actually DO exist. Now, I know. Now, if I can get the Mr to go to the shindig where P/H is speaking tomorrow evening….. Heh.
There were four speakers. P/H, Constitutional genius…and that is NOT an exaggeration,

I wish I had used what few brain cells I have left, and brought my video camera so I could record Publius’ speech. Unless you actually hear her speak, there are no words to describe her brilliance. All of the speakers were good, and mostly informative, but when a person gets an immediate standing ovation before she even finished the last syllable, you KNOW…this is one person who has it RIGHT!
Rep Carr spoke of a bill nullifying the potential federal gun grab, which yes, we ARE allowed to do! States have the ability to nullify any federal law that is unconstitutional. And let’s face it, Obama’s plans ARE unconstitutional.
John Harris (TFA) spoke about the bills that 2nd Amendment advocates have aided in pushing through the state legislation. Isn’t it amazing that many small donations from regular folks can unseat an incumbent with hundreds of thousands of dollars from big corporations? He also spoke of the history of how TN’s gun laws came into being, siting the racism of the DEMOCRATS after the Civil War. Fact, many gun laws came into being due to the fact that Democrats did not want freed slaves to possess a means to protect themselves from the terrorist arm of the party, the KKK.
Sheriff Clark shared where the Association stands on the issue of gun grabbing. The sheriffs of Tennessee will NOT violate their oath of office, which includes the phrase “to protect and defend” both the U.S. Constitution, and the Tennessee Constitution. I spoke to him briefly after the forum, to ask him if most county sheriffs are on board with upholding their oaths of office, including Hardin County, and he told me that to the best of his knowledge, ALL county sheriffs will not violate that oath.
Afterward, another evil smoker, Tom, 
(and the back of Paula’s head) and I were standing outside, freezing our hinders off, and talking about the forum. It seems he brought the idea of a class, taught by Publius, for potential conservative candidates, and maybe those who are already holding office, on the Constitution. It’s quite obvious that many who are elected and hold office are absolutely clueless about that document, and what they do know, is so mangles, they tend to confuse what they THINK with what is reality. I think it’s an excellent idea!
Once we were able to drag P/H away from her HUGE fan club, we all went out to eat. There were two other ladies with us, but for the life of me, I can’t remember their names. For that, do apologize! Blame the meds! I always do! Heh. A most excellent time was had by all 8 of us…after we left Chili’s and went to Logan’s! Obviously, the conversation was quite lively, and politically centered. Good people. good eats, and good times! It’s a shame they all live way over here where it’s too flippin’ cold for these old bones! 
This Makes Me Unhappy!
DeMint leaving Senate to head Heritage Foundation
South Carolina Sen. Jim DeMint is leaving Congress to head the conservative Heritage Foundation.
The Tea Party-backed senator announced the move Thursday, saying he will step down from the Senate in January to become president of The Heritage Foundation think tank.
“I’m leaving the Senate now, but I’m not leaving the fight. I’ve decided to join The Heritage Foundation at a time when the conservative movement needs strong leadership in the battle of ideas,” he said in a statement. “No organization is better equipped to lead this fight and I believe my experience in public office as well as in the private sector as a business owner will help Heritage become even more effective in the years to come.”
DeMint has been an outspoken voice in the Senate for its most conservative wing, most recently chiding House Republican leaders for offering to put revenue on the table as part of negotiations over the looming fiscal crisis.
One of the few voices we’ve had in the Senate is leaving? No, this doesn’t make me happy at all!
Time To Rise Up
Every morning, I wake up, thank God for another day on His creation, and pray the last four years have just been a bad dream, realize the nightmare isn’t over, wondering if it ever will be, and drag myself out of bed. Having to face the horror that has become the U.S.A. is, sometimes, just more than I care to deal with on a regular basis.
What can we do? What can I do? Do we just blindly accept that the spawn of Satan has taken over control of our lives, or do we fight back? If we fight back, how? We had an election stolen, and no one will do a damn thing. The fraud was so massive that the integrity of all future elections will be in question, yet…..crickets.
Then, we have the so called Republicans that we put our trust in, in the House. Apparently, that trust was misplaced. Here is a snippet of from a piece by Erick Erickson:
Not quite two weeks removed from Thanksgiving, it is worth giving thanks to John Boehner, Eric Cantor, and Kevin McCarthy. I really am thankful for them.
Yesterday the three of them purged fiscal conservatives from committees as punishment for being authentically fiscal conservatives. Mick Mulvaney of South Carolina was put on the Financial Services Committee to show fiscal conservatism had nothing to do with removing Congressmen Justin Amash and David Schweikert, but that just causes me to question Mick Mulvaney’s conservative bona fides now.
Congressmen Schweikert, Amash, and Congressman Tim Huelskamp now removed from the Budget Committee, have been punished for daring to defy John Boehner during the debt ceiling fight, etc. They pointed out what would happen with John Boehner’s deal. They were the Cassandras of the fiscal cliff, predicting we’d be exactly where we are and they voted against getting us here.
They have now been punished.
When Boehner was first chosen to be Speaker, I thought “maybe we finally have a pit bull on our side”, but learned quite quickly, what we got was a chihuahua. Oh, I’m sure he’s a nice guy, and all that, but we don’t need nice guys in leadership positions when we are fighting for our very survival.
Pointing their fingers as fiscal conservatives now punished, casting them out as scape goats, will do nothing to woo the media or the White House, but we should be thankful. We should absolutely be thankful for these three men.
As the sun rises this morning we can look at John Boehner, Eric Cantor, and Kevin McCarthy and know the opposition is not just across the aisle, but in charge of our own side in the House of Representatives. All the time and energy I would otherwise have to spend to convince conservatives that these gentlemen would be a problem for the GOP has been spared. They’ve proven it themselves.
Now, we no longer have to fight against the evil of Obama and his minions, we have to do battle with evil of the Republican Party as well? I’m not sure I have the energy anymore. I pretty much left the Party quite a while ago, but since there has been no viable alternative, had no choice but to support anyone, and anything that would rid us of Marxist that currently resides in the house that George built. To continue to support a party that no longer reflects the values of an extremely large number of people, would be ludicrous.
We have two choices in this matter. We rid the party of the wishy washy, feckless fence sitters, the go along to get along, or we create an alternative. There is a third alternative…. we fight to regain control of our country, literally, to rid ourselves of the treasonous bast*ards, remove the threat of tyranny, once and for all. I’m old, in poor health, and will likely be killed off by ObamaCare at some point in the future. It will be up to the younger folks to decide what our country will be, what course to take…liberty or tyranny. I had hoped that the recent election would have resolved the issue, but sadly, the ignorance is apparent, and there were too many who are willing to give up their freedom, to be chained in slavery to the federal government. I, for one, do not want to live in a country that would choose tyranny over liberty and slavery over freedom.
It is in vain, sir, to extenuate the matter. Gentlemen may cry, Peace, Peace– but there is no peace. The war is actually begun! The next gale that sweeps from the north will bring to our ears the clash of resounding arms! Our brethren are already in the field! Why stand we here idle? What is it that gentlemen wish? What would they have? Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God!

Romney Adviser Blames “Far Right” for Romney Loss
Congress has been in the business of wrecking the economy and then claiming they have the solution to fix the problems they created. Curses on both their houses.
Now the blame-game is coming from the Romney camp. In an interview with Candy Crowley, Romney adviser Carlos Gutierrez first attacked Romney for his remarks about “gifts” by Obama to buy votes. On this Romney is correct despite what some Republicans who are trying to position themselves for 2016 are saying. Then Gutierrez goes further off the rails. Like so many Establishment Republicans, he does not understand the mood of millions of conservatives who once formed the foundation of the Republican Party and gave it substantial victories in past elections, 2010 being the most recent:
“I think we lost the election because the far right of this party has taken the party to a place that it doesn’t belong. We are the party of prosperity, of growth, of tolerance. I mean these immigrants who come across and what they do wrong is they risk their lives, they come here and they work because they want to be part of the American Dream. That’s what the GOP is.”
People are really starting to PISS ME OFF!! This clown blames people like me. Another ‘adviser’ blames Chris Christie. Talking heads blame Limbaugh. Jindal says we have to make people like us? Give me a flippin’ break!
Ya wanna know whose fault it is that we’re stuck with that incompetent boob for four more years? There’s a long list! Where should I start?
How about with government run indoctrination centers! Yep, for the last 40 years or so, our so called public education system has been churning out virtual morons, incapable of rational, and critical thinking. They are instructed to ‘think’ what they are told, and never question the rationality.
Then, we have the media. Dear Lord in Heaven! What a freakin’ joke! Instead of actual news, we are spoon fed the pablum that they want us to hear, and ignore the truth. Once again, the inability to think critically comes into play. People don’t bother to investigate further, so they just stroll along, believing the BS they have been handed.
How about those voting vaginas? Now there’s a real bunch of geniuses! I guess if you think that you have the ‘right’ to slaughter your child, calling it ‘choice’ (although the choice was made before the conception), and think that you also have the right to spread ‘em anytime ya please, with contraception paid for by SOMEONE ELSE, then yeah… brilliant! /snark Criminy, these females are an embarrassment to all thinking women!
Shall we talk about the GOP? Yeah…there a real bunch of losers for ya! A handful of ‘rich fat cats’ have taken the platform that WINS, and turned it into a ‘big tent’. Stuff your big tent where the sun don’t shine! TRUTH doesn’t need a tent! Instead of reaching out to the base….folks like me, the TEA Party activists, the TRUE CONSERVATIVES….they placate the wishy washy middle of the road, can’t decide, fence sitters, and end up with splinters up their butts, and blame us? Naw…that ain’t gonna fly bub!
And Governor Jindal…with all due respect, I don’t give a flying $%#@ if people like us or not! Liking doesn’t mean DICK when you send the WRONG message! People seem to like Obama, for what reason, I have yet to figure out, but that doesn’t mean he’s the right person for the job! So, whether or not someone is ‘likable’ is irrelevant!
When it comes to Hispanics, they’ve been fed a line of BS as long as the U.S./Mexican border! The key word…ILLEGAL….seems to be left out quite a bit. Hey… we like immigrants just fine! We just prefer them to come in the front door, with permission, instead of breaking in the back door, expecting goodies at the expense of the tax payer, of all colors, creeds, and origins!
Then there’s that one GLARING issue no one seems to want to talk about….CHEATING! How many incidents of obvious fraud have been counted, yet not a word from the GOPers. If they had any sense, they’d demand a recount, nation wide! Voting machines changing votes. Illegals voting. Multiple votes…by the same person…and bragging about it? Yet….what do we get?
Yep! There are a whole lot of reasons we’ve been shafted once again. This is just the tip of the iceberg. So, here’s a clue for you establishment GOPers. Either you can start listening to US…as in WE, The People, or you can find another line of work because there won’t be a Grand Old Party anymore, and we’ll take it from here. There’s this thing called the U.S. Constitution that we are REAL fond of, and if that makes us extreme, ‘the far right’, or whatever other name you want to tack onto us, so be it! We ain’t going away, but YOU just might! Join US, or get left behind. Your choice!
Dems Backtracking
Sometimes, you can find some of the most interesting, or in this case semi-amusing, things on the internet. Twitchy is a great site for perusing for such items. I found this ‘tweet’ of particular interest:
Seriously? Heh. I’d never heard of this guy, so of course, I had to check out some of the links provided by other tweets in the Twitchy post. And sure enough….one of the links led me to the LeftPo, who had this to say:
“Mark Clayton is associated with a known hate group in Washington, D.C., and the Tennessee Democratic Party disavows his candidacy, will not do anything to promote or support him in any way, and urges Democrats to write-in a candidate of their choice in November,” read the statement.
Clayton is vice president of the Public Advocate of the United States, a Virginia-based group that advocates a conservative social agenda. The Southern Poverty Law Center calls it a hate group. Its opposition to gay rights is extreme: “GAY MUPPETS CONDEMNED BY PUBLIC ADVOCATE AND NOW SENATOR JIM DEMINT,” “Gay Curriculum Already Out Of Closet And Into Some City Classrooms To Millions In New York” and “Eating Chicken Declared A Hate Crime Pro-homosexual Socialist Dictators Attack Private Companies just like their President Barack Obama Attacks Private Companies” read recent press release headlines.
Ya know…..when a HATE group like SPLC calls something a ‘hate group’, odds are, they aren’t a hate group…they just disagree with the push towards the cesspool of current American society. Of course, ANYONE disagreeing with the evil of the leftist policies are labeled a hate group. Reckon you could lump me in with that label as well, even though it’s not hate in my heart, I just don’t believe acting contrary to God’s Law is a real bright move. Apparently, any group who advocates life, traditional marriage or any sort of family values, as proscribed in the Bible, is considered hateful by the left.
So, this guy wins the Democrat primary, and now, the Dems disown him. Did they not bother to find out anything about him? If he is a volunteer for a group that has OBVIOUS conservative leanings, a rather large, fairly well known group, wouldn’t they find it just a bit unusual for a CONSERVATIVE to run on the socialist…er…I mean Democrat ticket?
Sorry….I just find this so amusing! I think I’m going to check him out a bit more, and who knows…..I just might vote for him m’self.

Late Thursday evening, Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign launched a new fundraising drive, ‘Meet The VP’ — just as Romney himself has narrowed the field of candidates to a handful, sources reveal.
And a surprise name is now near the top of the list: Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice!
The timing of the announcement is now set for ‘coming weeks’.

It was Condi who received two standing ovations at Romney’s Utah retreat a few weeks ago, and everyone left with her name on their lips.
Rice made an extended argument for American leadership in the world.
In recent days, she emailed supporters:
“2012 is perhaps a turning point for the United States.”
“The upcoming elections loom as one of the most important in my lifetime,” she warned. “I’m very often asked to speak about our current foreign policy and the challenges that lie before us. However, we, as a country, are not going to be able to address any of those international challenges unless we first get our domestic house in order.”

I have a great deal of admiration for Condoleeza Rice. She is a brilliant woman! However, she has a couple of flaws that would definitely give most conservatives pause… One problem, she’s closely associated with Bush, who we know wasn’t really a conservative, but as modern day presidents go, was a damn sight better than the clown who could be considered a total waste of oxygen. Second problem….she is “‘mildly’ “pro-choice”", a term that denotes approval for the murder of the unborn. This gives me GREAT pause, as I’m sure it would a large number of Christian conservatives. ( And just what does ‘mildly’ mean? Either you are, or you aren’t. Even ‘mildly’ ends up with a dead child. 
)
Oddly enough, she has repeatedly said she would NOT run for any office, including the VP slot, so, I have to admit, this Drudge headline has me baffled.
The mental image, though, of her debating Joe Biden, I have to admit, is highly amusing. All she’d have to do is stand there and look at him, and could win hands down. Heh.
Now, if Mitt Romney REALLY wants to win this thing, he should probably start listening to us peons out here in the REAL world. Yes, he is a tad out of touch with conservatives in middle America, but I’m trying not to hold that against him. He pulled himself up by his own bootstraps, used his own brain, which was not muddled by drugs, and made a financially successful life. On the opposite end, the incumbent has done nothing for himself, had things handed to him, and now expects the rest of us to fall in line, and continue handing to him….our money, our liberties, and our lives.
So, if Gov Romney wants OUR input….how about Allen West? He’s a real person, who has been in the real world, and is staunchly conservative! I’ve seen lists from the talking heads, speculating, and his name is never on the list. This speaks volumes of the pundits. They don’t listen to us either. We had to hold our noses to vote for McCain, and the only reason we did was because he chose a true conservative as his running mate. Romney was not the choice of ANY conservative, so it might be wise on his part to follow McCain’s example and choose someone like West. Most of us are going to vote for him, mainly because we can’t tolerate another 4 years of Obama’s destructive policies, but wouldn’t it be better for him to get the excitement brought by a REAL conservative? I’ve no doubt some who have decided they won’t vote at all would get their butts off the couch and pull the lever for West. Just a thought!

This is going to be another extremely long day. I typically don’t do much on Sundays, other than go to church, and maybe nap, but since I’m not at home, and didn’t make it to church (lack of appropriate attire is one reason….don’t think they’d appreciate me showing up in baggie sweats and an NRA ‘Don’t Tread On Me’ t-shirt), I was put to work. Cleaning. UGH! Actually, I put myself to work, but some things needed to be done, so we did them. We’re all pretty amazed at the results. I won’t go into the reasons things had to be done, but suffice it to say, it was a priority.
Anyway, I am slurping coffee, attempting to get at least one eye open, and going through emails. I got a link to something I found quite interesting, and pretty much agree with it, with one exception….I don’t think voting for Ron Paul is a good idea. Other than that….I have to say that yes, our lame stream media is nothing more than a government run propaganda machine, in the same vein that the media of Nazi Germany was, or the state run media in Venezuela.

The elites are masters of propaganda. They have at their beck and call an army of “journalists” who never stray from the official state line for fear of being ostracized. They eagerly and happily spread lies and half-truths in order to gain and then keep their seats near the halls of power. Those who stray from the party line (Helen Thomas) are harshly dealt with.
They have learned that the more lies they tell, the more lies we believe. And the more lies we believe, the more dependent we become. Conversely, the fewer myths, lies and deceptions we succumb to, the less dependent — and, therefore, the freer — we are.
If you watch the news, read the papers, either print or online, no doubt you’ve notice a serious deterioration in the quality of the ‘news’. Instead of all the facts, we get slant, from all the outlets. The majority, however, slant so far to the left with their propaganda, it’s difficult to know what real anymore. The lack of reporting is just as bad as flat out lying. Those who actually pay attention have seen a great many omissions in what most would consider vital information pertaining to the story that’s being ‘reported’. But since it doesn’t fit into their agenda, and that of the current administration, it gets left out, or the spin is so blatant, you get dizzy just hearing it….kind of like going a few rounds in a dryer. Just one example of the media ‘in the tank’ for the administration would be the recent WaPo column by a total Obama suck up. *shakes head*
When confronted with a challenge to the established belief system, the mind closes off. When this happens, the individual employs avoidance behavior, writes off the new knowledge as conspiracy theory and labels it as kooky, insane or stupid. The information is then dismissed, never to be considered again, even when the facts support the new knowledge.
The esoteric purpose of propaganda is to extract wealth and labor illegally as concealed involuntary servitude. The people who use propaganda to persuade the populace against their best interests create myths and sell them as benefits.
Have you ever had, what started out as, what you THOUGHT was a rational conversation with a liberal? Within minutes, confronted with the truth, the majority will totally become unhinged. Recent videos of the OWS crowd proves that point with no need for explanation. You can find them anywhere on the net, unless, of course, some underhandedness has occurred, which you KNOW it does! YouTube is notorious for pulling videos , especially when the rabid leftist complain. Let a conservative say that something is highly offensive, and you get either silence, or ‘it’s protected by the 1st Amendment. Funny how that works, eh? Google apparently is another arm of the socialist movement known as the Democrat Party, with the head, Obama/Washerwoman-Schultz, pulling the strings. Or would that be George Soros? Uh oh! A conspiracy theory. tsk tsk tsk
So, anyway, the column has a list of lies, covering a variety of topics, from The War on Terror to The economy is improving. One topic of interest is There is a difference between the Republican Party and the Democratic Party. In today’s parties, some might agree. In a way, I do as well. All we have to do is look at the candidate we were stuck with in 2008, and to a degree, who THEY have decided our candidate is this time around. I know of very few people who actually supported either one. The elites at the top are actually quite similar, however, us rank and file out here in the REAL world, are quite different from each other. The majority of us stand on principle. The head honchos blow with the wind. Quite disturbing actually, which is why the Tea Party is so vital to all upcoming elections. No, we are NOT fading away. We are still out here, doing our best to not only take our country back, but the party of Reagan as well. The reason you don’t see us out there, like you you do the OWS types, is because the majority on our side either work, or have family obligations which prevents us from traveling distances, not to mention, we don’t get financial support from ANY organizations to bus us in for rallies. We foot our own bills, and unlike the unionistas who get bused (and in most cases, paid) in to protest something or other, of people who are just handed a sign, and paid to carry it for the cameras.
The one item I have an issue with is A vote for Ron Paul is a vote for Obama. Actually, it is. I think Ron Paul is a smart cookie….when it comes to domestic issues. However, his foreign policy has turned off a large number of people, including me. We stand by our allies, not throw them to the wolves, as the Obama administration has. I think he’d make an excellent Secretary of Treasury though.
So, no, I do not believe “A vote for either Mitt Romney or Obama is a vote for continued and reinforced fascism.“ We can’t do this in just one election cycle, and we have to start somewhere. Getting Obama out of office, and in turn, removing all those freakin’ czars, reversing the numerous ‘executive orders’ that ‘go around Congress’, and getting a majority in both the House and the Senate is just the first step to restoring our Constitutional Republic.

Some of the most ridiculous comments left on almost every conservative site have been left by self proclaimed liberal/progressives. Was that ‘your days are numbered‘ a threat? Hmmm….
We, as a country, are not going to tolerate Republican immorality much longer.

Seriously? Which party is it that promotes promiscuity? Which party promotes the slaughter of innocent babies, sometimes the result of the previously mentioned promiscuity. Wow! Where to even begin.
Ok…let’s try the definition of fascism:
any movement, ideology, or attitude that favors dictatorial government, centralized control of private enterprise, repression of all opposition, and extreme nationalism
Now, I don’t know about you, but it appears to me that this sad, mentally ill being hasn’t got a clue. That definition pretty sums up the ‘progressives’, don’t you think?
Disarm? As in violate our Constitutional rights? Isn’t that what Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Pol Pot, etc., did to their citizens? How many millions ended up dead because they were no longer able to defend themselves from people with this ‘liberal’ mindset? If you add up all the totalitarian regimes, the number will be well over a billion. That’s 1,000,000,000. BILLION…with a B.
Apparently, he also believes we need to be re-educated. Well, let’s take a look at such ‘education’. A bit of history is needed here. The term came from the North Vietnamese originally, where “the government imprisoned several hundred thousand former military officers and government workers from the former regime of South Vietnam“. The idea wasn’t to actually educate anyone. It was quite an effective tool for “revenge and a sophisticated technique of repression and indoctrination, which developed for several years in the North and was extended to the South following the 1975 North Vietnam takeover.” And this is what our mentally ill ‘friend’ wants for his fellow Americans?
Now, shall we talk about civility? I don’t even know where to start! I guess it’s true that a picture is worth a thousand words, so how about we do a bit of comparison, shall we? The pictures on the left are what this…person…considers civil, and those on the right are uncivil.

Once again, our candidate was selected for us. Now, I know there are some who are going to get all bent out of shape, claim to be standing on their ‘principles’ and all that. Well, I would ask….do your principles include making the country suffer through another four years of Barack Hussein Obama?
Look, no conservative, including me, is happy about this candidate. Ok, Romney is a good guy, and has some good qualities, but he isn’t what any REAL conservative would consider a first choice. Be that as it may, he is who we will need to support to start our nation on it’s way to healing. Note…I said ‘start’. To get anywhere, you always have to take a first step. Getting rid of Obama is the first step. Who replaces him is important, but not nearly as important as taking away all the power he has usurped for himself.
So, that being said….how ’bout we join together to achieve the goal of ridding the nation of that Marxist? K?
