Whether or not you like Bush 43, facts are facts! There are some who would love to change history to suit their agenda, but thankfully, there are enough of us who know the truth, and will do our utmost to keep the facts in the foreground!

The day the Democrats took over was not January 20, 2009, it was actually January 3, 2007, the day the Democrats took over the House of Representatives and the Senate, at the very start of the 110th Congress. The Democrat Party controlled a majority in both chambers for the first time since the end of the 103rd Congress in 1995. For those who are listening to liberals propagating the fallacy that everything is “Bush’s Fault”, think about this:

On January 3, 2007, the day the Democrats took control of Congress:

The DOW Jones closed at 12,621.77
The GDP for the previous quarter was 3.5%
The Unemployment rate was 4.6%
George Bush’s Economic policies had SET A RECORD of 52 STRAIGHT MONTHS of JOB CREATION!

Remember that day…?

January 3rd, 2007 was the day Barney Frank took over the House Financial Services Committee and Chris Dodd took over the Senate Banking Committee. The economic meltdown that happened 15 months later was in what part of the economy?

BANKING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES! THANK YOU DEMOCRATS (especially Barney), for taking us from 13,000 DOW, 3.5 GDP and 4.6% Unemployment to this CRISIS by (among MANY other things) dumping 5-6 TRILLION Dollars of toxic loans on the economy from YOUR Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac FIASCOES!

(BTW: Bush asked Congress 17 TIMES to stop Fannie & Freddie – starting in 2001 because it was financially risky for the US economy. Barney blocked it and called it a “Chicken Little Philosophy”, but…the sky did fall!)

And who took the THIRD highest pay-off from Fannie Mae AND Freddie Mac? OBAMA!!!

And who fought against reform of Fannie and Freddie? OBAMA and the Democrat Congress, especially BARNEY!!!!

So when someone tries to blame Bush… REMEMBER JANUARY 3rd, 2007…. THE DAY THE DEMOCRATS TOOK OVER!

Bush may have been in the car, but the Democrats were in charge of the gas pedal and steering wheel while they were driving the economy into the ditch. Budgets are not passed in the White House. They are passed by Congress, and the party that controlled Congress since January 2007 (until the 2010 election and the Republicans took the majority in the House) is the Democrat Party.

Furthermore, the Democrats controlled the budget process for 2008 & 2009, as well as 2010 & 2011. Obama has now gone more than 1,000 days without a budget, and is still blaming it on the Republicans! In that first year, Congress had to contend with George Bush, which caused them to compromise on spending when Bush, somewhat belatedly, got tough on spending increases.

For FY 2009 though, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid bypassed “Lame Duck President” George Bush entirely, passing continuing resolutions to keep government running until Barack Obama could take office. At that time, they passed a massive omnibus spending bill to complete the 2009 budget. And where was Barack Obama during this time? He was a member of that very Congress that passed all of those massive spending bills, and he signed the omnibus bill as President to complete 2009. Let’s remember what the deficits looked like during that period:

If the Democrats inherited any deficit, it was the 2007 deficit, the last of the Republican budgets. That deficit was the lowest in five years, and the fourth straight decline in deficit spending. After that, Democrats in Congress took control of spending, and that includes Barack Obama, who voted for the budgets.

If Obama inherited anything, he inherited it from himself and a Democratic Congress.

In a nutshell, what Obama is saying is: “I inherited a deficit that I voted for, and then I expanded that deficit four-fold since January 20th 2009.”

Of course, the left will do all they can to silence the truth, but as Jesus said in John 8:32, “…And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

“The problems we face today exist because the people who work for a living are outnumbered by those who vote for a living.”

Shared by Sharon, with a few additions of my own.

Last week, on March 26, The Orlando Sentinel had this story with the headline:

Trayvon Martin case: Martin was the aggressor, police sources say

The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that police sources say Martin was the aggressor on Feb. 26, knocking Zimmerman to the ground with a single punch and then climbing on top of the 28-year-old neighborhood watch captain and slamming the back of his head into the ground. Police say this account, given by Zimmerman, is supported by eyewitnesses, according to the Sentinel’s report.

One such witness reportedly told police that he saw Martin on top of Zimmerman, striking the man, while Zimmerman cried out for help. The attack left Zimmerman bloodied, police sources told the Sentinel, and led him to fire at Martin in self-defense.

Police say Zimmerman was bleeding from the nose, had a fat lip and confirm that the back of his head was cut. He received first aid at the scene but refused to go to the hospital and received medical treatment the following day, according to the Sentinel’s sources.

So, if this information has been out for the last week or so, why isn’t it common knowledge? I mean, I knew about it, but I typically check more than one source for information. If these are actual facts in the case, evidently, facts don’t matter to the BCB, or the race baiters.

Question: Did the police take any pictures of Zimmerman’s injuries? If so, why haven’t they released them? Such pictures would go a long way to back up Zimmerman’s claim of being attacked.

Another question: Will the BCB introduce a resolution to commemorate Nancy and Bob Strait? How about one for the young Latino boy?

While the House has pass bill after bill, addressing some of our biggest problems, there is a certain senator from Nevada who has closed the door, locked it, and thrown away all the keys that might help our economy get back on track. For this reason, the Republicans need…MUST…take control of both houses. While some Republicans are no better than Do Nothing Reid (formerly known as Runnin’ Reid) at least we know that Republicans are capable of coming up with some common sense solutions. It is going to take some drastic measures to get off the track to socialism, and back on the track of freedom, and there will be whining. Let them whine! The spending has got to stop, and we have got to become responsible for our own well being through blood, sweat and tears if need be. As I told Rep Blackburn at her last townhall here, it’s the House that controls the purse strings, why are they not slapping some big hands and slamming the lid shut on the cookie jar?

Another Vision to Solve the Budget Crisis
The Foundry

While Washington’s eyes are focused on the historic Obamacare hearings at the Supreme Court, work continues across the street in the House of Representatives where some Members of Congress — though not all — are doing their best to clean up Washington’s budgetary mess.

It has now been 1,064 days since the U.S. Senate passed a budget, the national debt is nearing $16 trillion, and the deficit is at $3 trillion. In the face of this mess, the Republican Study Committee (RSC) yesterday unveiled its plan to balance the budget in five years, and it does so with entitlement reforms, sharp and aggressive spending cuts, avoiding tax hikes, including pro-growth tax reform, and providing for a strong national defense.

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), RSC Chairman, and Rep Scott Garrett (R-NJ), also of the committee, issued a statement saying that their plan is a clear, practical way to cut spending and balance the budget — and that leadership is needed in Washington’s budgetless vacuum:

Our country’s spiraling debt crisis has reached a tipping point. We need a plan that makes the hard decisions now, not later, to solve our spiraling debt crisis. In the absence of President Obama coming forward to lead our country on the most pressing issue of our time, the RSC stepped up to the plate today by putting forward a bold solution to balance the budget in five years.

The RSC’s budget proposal follows the one issued by House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan (R-WI), which cuts spending in budget year 2013 and into the future, includes market-based reforms to health entitlements, and features a solid, growth-oriented tax plan. Contrast those plans with President Obama’s FY 2013 budget, which delivers a fourth consecutive annual deficit exceeding $1 trillion with spending that rises from $3.8 trillion to $5.8 trillion in 2022.

Or just pause for a moment to consider the Senate’s non-efforts. Though it would take Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) only 51 votes to pass a budget resolution, he is instead opting for inaction. As The Wall Street Journal‘s Stephen Moore writes, “The reality is that Mr. Reid has made a calculation that Democrats are better off with no budget at all. This allows them to attack Mr. Ryan’s cuts to programs like Medicare without Democrats having to show their own hand.”

The RSC’s plan isn’t perfect — Heritage’s Patrick Knudsen says it “falls short in substantiating many of its significant spending cuts with adequate policy detail.” Those details are necessary because budgets should be policy driven, not numbers driven. But Knudsen explains that it is, nevertheless, an “ambitious effort aimed at solving the twin crises of spending and debt.” Among the plan’s features, it contains $3.4 trillion in entitlement savings, repeals Obamacare, includes a solid (though very basic) step for Social Security by gradually raising the retirement age, and adopts Ryan’s plan to boldly transform Medicare into a premium support program. Knudsen concludes, “Notwithstanding its limitations, the aims and convictions behind this plan should not be ignored.”

Among some quarters, aims and convictions are lacking on Capitol Hill, and leadership on the left is taking a pass on doing anything to get spending under control. And while everyone pays a price for higher debt, including slower economic growth, higher taxes and a lack of entrepreneurial independence, there is one group of Americans much worse off than the rest. America’s Debt-Paying Generation — those who are under 30 — will struggle throughout their lives to pay down the debt we’re racking up today.

Heritage’s Saving the American Dream plan offers a fiscal blueprint that all budget proposals should follow — change and simplify the tax code, cut bureaucratic and regulatory spending, and begin reforming Medicare, Social Security and Medicaid so that those who need it most can count on them. It’s a good sign that conservative voices in Washington are offering ideas to help avert America’s fiscal disaster. Now it’s time for Congress to act on them.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Wednesday evening that the 2010 healthcare law, which prompted complaints from conservatives that Democrats far exceeded their constitutional authority, actually helps people meet the goal outlined in the Declaration of Independence, which promotes mankind’s rights to “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”

Speaking on the House floor, Pelosi called on her colleagues to remember “what our founders put forth in our founding documents, which is life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. And that is exactly what the Affordable Care Act helps to guarantee.”

Pelosi explained that the law gives people the flexibility they need to pursue these goals, since it makes it easier for them to switch jobs in order to pursue their career or family goals.

Seriously, the woman needs to lay off the botox. It’s turned what little brain she had into plastic mush! You seriously need to actually read those documents….on a regular basis…because evidently, you have NO clue what’s in them. Rights come from God and responsibilities belong to the people for their own choices and lives, NOT the government.

What “gives people the flexibility” to pursue their goals is a government that doesn’t intrude on every aspect of their lives! A government that actually does what it was created to do, and back the hell off from everything else! That includes our health care! It’s none of their flippin’ business. People can’t pursue their personal goals anymore because they can’t afford them. Why? Because of the Nancy Pelosis of the world have made sure they can’t by sucking the life out of their dreams.

And, by the way, ya dumb broad…there are NO guarantees….for anything! *shakes head* And people keep voting for that lunatic? Says a LOT of San Fransisco, doesn’t it! Can we kick them out?

This week, Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan introduced his budget blueprint. I wanted to make sure you had a chance to read it. Under Harry Reid’s leadership, and with the approval of his fellow Democratic cohorts, it’s been 1,057 days without a budget in the Senate. Budgets are about priorities and we can’t keep playing politics with America’s top priorities: protecting the homeland and preserving our children and grandchildren’s futures.

Thank you Nevada, for giving us such a useless piece of crap in the form of Harry Reid. Sharon Angle may not have been perfect, but at least she has something resembling a brain. Reid, on the hand, is about as brainless as a a split log! When bringing up the subject of impeachment, perhaps we should talk about removing the brain dead Reid from his current position of power?

by Congressman Allen West

I want to extend my sincere condolences to the families of the Army Colonel and Major who were killed by Afghanistan security forces over this “burning Koran” episode.

If we had resolute leadership in the White House, we would have explained that these Islamic terrorist enemy combatants detained at the Parwan facility used the Koran to write jihadist messages to pass to others.

In doing so, they violated their own cultural practice and defiled the Koran and turned the Koran into contraband.

The Islamic cultural practice and Parwan detention facility procedures support burning the “contraband.”

Instead here we go again, offering apology after apology and promising to “hold those responsible accountable.” Responsible for what?

When tolerance becomes a one-way street it leads to cultural suicide.

This time it immediately led to the deaths of two American Warriors.

America is awaiting the apology from President Hamid Karzai.

So, after a week and a half of utter misery (cold + damp = PAIN), the good Lord saw fit to give us a beautiful day…sunny and 65 degrees! Lord, how I love the South! Except for the cold and damp and more snow that I ever care to see again in my lifetime, but I’ll survive.

The Hardin County Republican Party and the Pickwick Republican Women hosted a lunch for our Congresswoman, Marsha Blackburn. It was really nice to see some folks I haven’t seen in quite a while due to all the health issues we’ve had going on. Our state rep‘s lovely bride, Ashley sat with us, one of my favorite patriots, Jerry Key (yep, the same one I frequently say “Shared by Jerry” on numerous posts), and Suzanne, the new president of the ladies bunch. Plus N’Gaoi, Kay, and even Dot. There were a LOT of new faces. Gracious sakes! I gotta get back into the swing of things. *shakes head*

While waiting for Marsha, Jerry gave the invocation, and a darn good one it was too! We DO need to pray for those in power, and do our best to direct them BACK to our foundings….UNDER GOD!

After Jerry spoke for a few minutes, praising his fellow patriots from his years in the service (fighter pilot in Vietnam), Suzanne began her introduction. Sorry….I tried to get a picture, but my phone copped an attitude, and the few I got mostly didn’t turn out too well.

Now, I have to laugh, because while introducing Marsha, she kept referring to her as Senator Blackburn. When Marsha did take the floor, spoke about all the work the House is doing, and the Senate is not, she opened up the floor for questions.

Sorry….rather fuzzy. Phone issues…again!
So, me being me, I had to ask: “Since Suzanne has already given you the promotion, will you be running for the Senate?” Her response….with a smile, of course….”I’m running for Congress.” *snap* We could sure use a strong conservative like Marsha in the Senate. sigh…

There were numerous excellent questions, covering a variety of topics, from spending to national security, and the Iran/Israel situation. She stands with Israel too! There was even a ‘birther’ who got a shot in? *shakes head* Oh well, if ya don’t ask the questions, ya never know, right?

I actually did have a serious question for her, but she wrapped things up, so I had to wait until she finished speaking to a few folks.

My serious question: “Since the House controls the purse strings, why is they can’t stop the funding of a variety of things…just cut them off?” Well, it’s the same problem with trying to get a budget passed. The House passes one, with cuts to duplicate programs and such, and the Senate just sits on the bills. Yep, ol’ Runnin’ Harry Reid, the most useless being in Congress, refuses to allow anything to come to the floor. We’ve seen it time and time again. Thanks ever so much, Nevada, for sticking us with that…..person…..AGAIN! Next time around, I don’t give a flip who is running against him, just get him the hell out of the Senate! Sheesh!

And, of course, I did have to ask, once again, if she had considered running for the Senate. Lamar Alexander – RINO, has said he isn’t going to go for another term, so….. sigh… Couldn’t pin her down. Oh well. I’d love to see either her, or Stacey Campfield, take that seat.

If the anger and momentum continues like I saw this afternoon, I feel pretty good about the outcome. But we have GOT to do the work to get it done. First thing, make sure you are registered to vote. Second, get up off your hind end and GO VOTE! I don’t want to hear “but my vote won’t count” crap! We are going to have to battle a boatload of fraud, so YES, your vote just might make the difference between winning and losing!

What in the hell is wrong with this woman? We all know she’s a socialist. It came from her own mouth! We KNOW she’s got a few screws lose. We are very aware she wants to destroy the country, aiding and abetting her ‘messiah’ in the White House. Make Nancy Pelosi the next speaker? I don’t freakin’ think so! I guess she didn’t notice that Pelosi was a mini dictator, or perhaps that’s exactly what the Dems want? Dictators, stealing from the people to enrich themselves? Because that’s exactly what Congress does! It steals….’legally’. I could go on, but I’m already in a pissy mood! Suffice it to say, we need to do EVERYTHING we can to make these tools of the devil the smallest minority in BOTH houses, and remove the biggest tool from the White House! I’m thinking we need a big time exorcist! Hmmm….wonder where you find one? I kind of doubt they are listed in the Yellow Pages.

Barack Hussein Obama has violated his oath of office since day one.

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.

He has not upheld the Constitution. He has not preserved or protected anything. He has usurped power that does not belong to the executive branch of our form of government (Republic). Congress stomps their feet, but does absolutely nothing to stop him. After three years, one of which the Republicans controlled the House, why has no one brought impeachment proceedings against the fascist? Why hasn’t he been arrested and charged with treason? I can tell you why… We have a bunch of cowards in Congress who, while whining about the blatant violations of the current POTUS, don’t have the cajones to actually stop him from ripping our Constitution to shreds.

Powers granted by the Constitution:

1. Grant reprieves and pardons (except in impeachment cases)
2. Appoint Ambassadors (again with the consent of senate)
3. Appoints public ministers and consuls (with the consent of senate)
4. Can reject or accept the judges of the supreme court (with the consent of senate)
5. Can appoint basically any officer that is ranked below him with the consent of the senate
6. Can fill up vacancies during the recess of the senate

I have seen nothing in the document that states the president force anyone to do anything.

1st Amendment: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. (emphasis added)

WE, The People are granted five VERY important freedoms in the First Amendment:

Speech
The First Amendment says that people have the right to speak freely without government interference.

Press
The First Amendment gives the press the right to publish news, information and opinions without government interference. This also means people have the right to publish their own newspapers, newsletters, magazines, etc.

Religion
The First Amendment prohibits government from establishing a religion and protects each person’s right to practice (or not practice) any faith without government interference. (emphasis mine)

Petition
The First Amendment says that people have the right to appeal to government in favor of or against policies that affect them or that they feel strongly about. This freedom includes the right to gather signatures in support of a cause and to lobby legislative bodies for or against legislation.

Assembly
The First Amendment says that people have the right to gather in public to march, protest, demonstrate, carry signs and otherwise express their views in a nonviolent way. It also means people can join and associate with groups and organizations without interference.

Nowhere does it state that the president can force religious organizations to go against their doctrine. Who would you rather answer to, Obama….or God. I choose God!

There is good reason to be extremely wary of this bill. The wording of many of the items in the bill should give EVERYONE pause. An example in SOPA:

Sec.1, Title 1, Definitions

Sec. 105. Immunity for taking voluntary action against sites that endanger public health.

I’ve no doubt the writers of this bill was considering the numerous jihadi websites, or others that promote violence, but what about Burger King? Many people seem to think that fast food restaurants ‘endanger public health’. Food nazis have been on the rampage for a while now, attempting to control what people decide to have for lunch. So, if I took advertising, which I don’t, and won’t, and Burger King wanted to put an ad on my site, the government could shut me down for accepting such an ad.

In Sec. 2, a, 1:

FIRST AMENDMENT- Nothing in this Act shall be construed to impose a prior restraint on free speech or the press protected under the 1st Amendment to the Constitution.

Not true. See example above. If I accept an ad from someone the government doesn’t like, they can shut me down, which would be violating MY right to free speech! Not only would they shut me down, but anyone who is connected to this site behind the scenes, like the host we pay to run our sites. That would include silent E, and Ick.

Read the entire bill. It’s more than a bit disturbing. Congress has, over the years, whittled away our God given rights, for the purpose of control. This is just one more step in the process. My description may be extremely simplistic, but I’m sure you get the idea. Stopping theft of intellectual property isn’t a bad thing, but this is not the way to do it!

Write your Congress critter, and both your Senators. If your Rep is on this list of sponsors, rip them a new one! Let them know we do NOT approve of their sponsorship!

Spending Bills Passed by GOP House Increased Debt $1T in 10 Months

Federal spending bills approved by the Republican-controlled House of Representatives have increased the national debt by more than $1 trillion dollars in just 10 months.

Republicans won a majority in the U.S. House of Representatives in the November 2010 elections and took control of the House on Jan. 5, 2011, when the chamber convened and elected Rep. John Boehner (R.-Calif.) as speaker.

Was our message not clear enough? Should we have camped out in your offices to make sure you DID get the message??? Should we behave like the trashy Occupy Wall Street slimes, and take up residence, smelling to high heaven, sharing vermin with the rest of the residents of the area?

But the Republican-controlled House did not gain a veto power over federal spending until March 4, 2011. That was the expiration date of the continuing resolution (CR) that the lame-duck Democrat-controlled Congress approved in December 2010. After March 4, federal spending has been approved by legislation that needed to be approved in the Republican-controlled House.

On March 1, 2011, the Republican-controlled House passed its first CR to fund the government after March 4. Since then, it has approved a series of CRs to keep the government funded. The Republican House approved its latest CR on December 16. It will keep the government funded until the end of fiscal 2012 on Sept. 30.

ONE TRILLION DOLLARS! $1,000,000,000,000!!!!

Eighty-six House Republicans went against their party leaders and voted against the Dec. 16 CR, which actually garnered more votes from House Democrats (149) than House Republicans (147).

When the Republican-controlled House approved its first CR on March 4, 2011, the national debt was 14,182,627,184,881.03, according to the U.S. Treasury. As of the close of business on Jan. 9, 2012, the national debt was 15,236,506,139,986.86.

Those 147 Republicans should start looking for a new job! I’m not the only one that is fed up with D.C. wasting OUR money! The Democrats have been having a high ol’ time spending money that doesn’t belong to them for many decades now, and evidently, the Republicans are trying to play catch up! HEY!!! IT IS NOT YOUR MONEY!!!

That means the debt increased by $1.05 trillion over the past ten months.

That equals approximately $8,964 for each of the 117,572,000 American households estimated by the Census Bureau.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t have a spare 9 grand laying around each month. I don’t have a spare quarter, thanks to the stupidity that runs rampant up there! The whole idea of 2010 was to STOP the madness, and bring some sanity back. Obviously, it didn’t work, and WE, The People got screwed over, once again!

At the current rate, the Republican-controlled House is agreeing to allow the U.S. Treasury to borrow approximately an additional $896 per month American household per month.

Article 1, Section 9 of the Constitution says: “No Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law.” Article 1, Section 7 says that every bill “shall have passed the House of Representatives and the Senate … before it become a Law.”

The hell with it! You are ALL FREAKIN’ FIRED! Seems that ‘oath of office’ means NOTHING to you people! Not a one of y’all are worth the effort that we put forth to get y’all elected, with one or two exception. And I’m starting to wonder about them as well!

I love Marsha Blackburn. She is a delightful lady and a solidly conservative member of Congress.

And I am pledging right now that I will do everything in my power to defeat her in her 2012 re-election bid.

I wonder if the left feels that way about Debbie Wasserman Schultz?

Both Marsha Blackburn and Debbie Wasserman Schults, the head of the Democratic National Committee and a Congresswoman from Florida, are cosponsors of the Stop Online Piracy Act.

The Act intends to stop online piracy. The way the Act goes about doing this is, in large part, allowing Eric Holder to take control of the internet and shut down websites he does not like. It is a totalitarian response from a bipartisan coalition of Congresscritters most of whom admit they have no freaking idea how the internet even works. Don’t believe me?

Ok, I’d have to say disgust is a much better word, and even that doesn’t quite cover it! The idea that Marsha Blackburn would collaborate on ANYTHING with that raving lunatic is beyond rational. The fact that this bill would give the worst Attorney General in our history the power to shut down anything he deemed necessary, or just doesn’t like, is even MORE unbelievable.

Marsha, you know I think quite highly of you, or at least I did. However, this is just beyond reason. You have always been as close to my ideal conservative as a person can get, but this is just mind blowing! You have led the way in many areas to try to retain our liberties, yet you would sign your name to co-sponsor a bill like this? Have you become so entrenched in Washington politics that you have forgotten all about us? With an alternative like the OPEN Act, I would think you would re-consider signing your name to such a violation. Giving such a power to anyone even remotely related to the Obama administration should have set off warning bells in your head. Stopping online piracy is a good thing. Giving Holder the power to shut down people who tend to criticize this administration, is flat out censorship. Does the name Joseph Goebbels ring a bell? Propaganda is a real useful tool, and I think you’ve been sucked into the Dems version.

Honestly, I can’t believe there are people in this country that are so freakin’ dense that they actually buy into the large piles of male bovine excrement that continuously come out of this White House and the sad sacks of Congress. It’s truly pathetic!

An extension of the payroll tax cut will save a “typical” family earning $50,000 around $40 a paycheck, the White House says. It also will reduce the only dedicated funding source for Social Security benefits, but only a few people in Washington are talking about that.

If that typical family is making $50K, they aren’t suffering all that much. Some folks really do need to learn how to live without luxuries. And yes, having cable or ‘pizza night’ is a luxury, NOT a necessity of life. Are we truly so spoiled that a mere two month extension of a pitiful ‘tax break’ would so totally ruin our lives that we find it necessary to whine to the White House? This is truly embarrassing, and I’ve no doubt that if people in other countries read this drivel, they’d think even less of us spoiled RICH Americans than they do now….if that’s even possible.

President Obama and his fellow Democrats are blaming House Republicans for the current stalemate over extending the payroll tax cut. The House bill calls for a year-long extension; but the Senate passed a bill extending it for two months. Unless the two bills are reconciled by the end of the year, the payroll tax will go up.

Naturally D’Bama blames others. I think I’d be totally shocked if he, just ONCE, took responsibility of his own actions. And heaven knows, the Senate Dems, led by one of the most weaselly beings on the planet, can’t possibly tell the truth about this whole issue. 2 months from the Dem controlled Senate VS a full year from the Republican controlled House….which one makes more sense? To the left, naturally 2 months of a break is so much better than a full year. Why? Because they are feckless morons who want YOUR money. Of course, the left stream media is all over this, right? Pointing out the difference between the two plans? …………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

Ok, stupid question. I admit it.

Some conservative Republicans say the payroll tax cut extension is a bad idea, period, because it siphons money from the Social Security Trust Fund.

What a novel concept. A Social Security Trust Fund. Problem is….there is no “Trust Fund”. Congress has been so busy spending money that was intended to be returned to the person who paid it in, that there is nothing left for the future. How many older people bought into the idea that S.S. was going to fund their retirement? Likely way more than the population of the State of Texas!

Wolf called the payroll tax extension a “raid on Social Security, which is already going broke,” and he noted that the money paid into the system now — through payroll taxes — pays benefits for existing retirees.

“Granting another tax holiday is unwise. It puts the existing benefits of those 55 million Americans who currently receive Social Security at risk to continue a failed ‘stimulus’ policy,” Wolf said.

*shakes head* We don’t need another ridiculous scheme from Congress. Both sides of the aisle has been playing fast and lose with our money for way too long. We need a TOTAL tax system overhaul. You jackwipes in D.C. need to pull your collective heads out of you collective hinders and realize, we ain’t as stupid as you believe us to be! We are quite well aware of your irresponsible behavior, year in, and year out. And ya know what? We are DAMN SICK OF IT! The behavior of BOTH parties has been down right criminal, and the vast majority of y’all should be behind bars! Stealing is a crime, you know!
