FNC’s Rivera Slams ‘Hypocrite’ Romney as ‘Most Virulent Anti-Illegal Immigration Person’
As he appeared on the Friday, January 13, The O’Reilly Factor, FNC’s Geraldo Rivera complained that GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney never mentions that his father, George Romney, was born in Mexico while campaigning as the “most virulent anti-illegal immigration person” and ended up calling the former Massachusetts governor a “hypocrite.”

Geraldo Rivera is a moron. Plain and simple. I’m no big fan of Romney, but for the love of pete, does Geraldo have to prove over and over again just how stupid he is? So, Romney is “anti-illegal immigrant”. And your point? The MAJORITY of Americans are anti-illegal invaders! Well, Rivera has no problem with people breaking into our country, using resources that could be put to better use for LEGAL residents, you know the type….those who are actually BORN in this country, and those who actually followed the rules, and came here LEGALLY.
Romney’s grandfather was born in the U.S. He was born in the U.S. So, what’s the problem? Grandpa brought his son back to the U.S. So what does that have to do with the price of jalapeos in Tiajuana? Dallas teen missing since 2010 was mistakenly deported by Houston ICE agents
“It’s very frustrating,” Lorene Turner said.
She has spent hours on Facebook trying to find her granddaughter, Jakadrien.
“Once I get home I am up until 3 or 4 in the morning searching and looking,” Turner said. “It’s all I can think about. Finding my baby.”
Turner has been searching for Jakadrien since the fall of 2010, when she ran away from home. She was 14 years old and distraught over the loss of her grandfather and her parents’ divorce.
Turner searched for months for a clue.
“God just kept leading me,” she said. “I wake up in the middle of the night and do whatever God told me to do, and I found her.”
Turner said with the help of Dallas police, she found her granddaughter in the most unexpected place – Colombia.
Where she had mistakenly been deported by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in April of 2011.
This girl went missing in 2010, and was deported in 2011. Where was she the rest of that time? Did ICE have her in some detention place? If so, then why the hell didn’t they talk to her? If she doesn’t speak Spanish, that could have been quite easy to discern.
“They didn’t do their work,” Turner said. “How do you deport a teenager and send her to Colombia without a passport, without anything?”
News 8 learned that Jakadrien somehow ended up in Houston, where she was arrested by Houston police for theft. She gave Houston police a fake name. When police in Houston ran that name, it belonged to a 22-year-old illegal immigrant from Columbia, who had warrants for her arrest.
So ICE officials stepped in.
News 8 has learned ICE took the girl’s fingerprints, but somehow didn’t confirm her identity and deported her to Colombia, where the Colombian government gave her a work card and released her.
Excuse me, but does THIS look like a 22 year old?
Nope! Not to me either! I have a great deal of respect for our LEOs, and I realize that the Houston PD and ICE are pretty busy, but this is just plain incompetence, on BOTH sides. If she was arrested for theft, wouldn’t the PD have run her fingerprints? Isn’t that what they usually do to find out if the person has any warrants and such? They can deport an American citizen, who is obviously just a kid, but they can’t find the criminal invaders dealing drugs to our children, and take ‘em down? Pure incompetence! And you and I both know there are a WHOLE lot of ‘em in large metropolitan cities like Houston. Jeeeeeeez!

Latinos Upset With Obama Over Deportations, Still Likely to Vote for Him
The Pew Hispanic Center published a report Wednesday showing that Latinos dislike President Obama’s deportation policies. Obama has roughly doubled the number of deportations of illegal immigrants since taking office. Regardless, Latinos do not see Republican candidates as offering a better alternative and will likely vote for Obama in high numbers again.
Fifty-nine percent said they disapprove of the way Obama is handling deportations, according to the Pew Hispanic Center’s survey of 1,220 Latinos in the United States. Only 27 percent approve, and 13 percent said they do not know or refused to answer the question.
The number of deportations of undocumented immigrants has risen dramatically under Obama. On average, the Obama administration has deported close to 400,000 immigrants each year he has been in office. This is about 30 percent more than the number of deportations during President George W. Bush’s second term and about double the number of deportations during Bush’s first term. This is despite the fact that illegal immigration, and apprehensions of illegal immigrants, is lower than during the Bush administration due to the economic recession.
You mean to tell me that people who came here legally, or have been in this country for generations, of Hispanic origin, are pro-criminal? If that’s the case, the I’d suggest they just say so. Because that’s what we’re talking about here…criminals. They break into our home, demand we feed, clothe, and take care of their medical bill, pay for their education, and this is ok? I don’t freakin’ think so!
And FYI….they aren’t immigrants…undocumented or otherwise! They are illegal invaders! They have broken our laws, and should NOT be rewarded!
Also, considering that Latinos are typically Catholic, explain to me why so many vote for Democrats. Life is suppose to be precious, yet the Democrats are all for murdering babies. They are also quite pro family, yet Democrats have spent the last 40+ years doing their darnedest to destroy families. Latinos are typically very hard working folks, yet the Democrats want everyone to be dependent on the government for sustenance. Seriously, it just doesn’t make a bit of sense!

Illegal Aliens, In-State Tuition and the Law

Consider it an illegal fringe benefit for illegal immigrants. Today, 12 states allow individuals who are in the United States illegally to pay the same in-state tuition rates as legal residents of the state without providing the same rates to others in the country who are here legally. And those states are doing it in direct contravention of federal law.
In a new paper, Heritage’s Hans von Spakovsky and Charles Stimson explain that in 1996, Congress passed–and President Bill Clinton signed into law–the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act. Under Section 1623 of the law, state colleges and universities are prohibited from providing in-state tuition rates to illegal aliens “on the basis of residence within the State” unless the same in-state rates are offered to all citizens of the United States.
“By circumventing the requirements of § 1623 these states are violating federal law, and the legal arguments offered to justify such actions are untenable, no matter what other policy arguments are offered in their defense,” von Spakovsky and Stimson write. Which states are on the list? The offenders include California, Texas, New York, Utah, Washington, Oklahoma, Illinois, Kansas, New Mexico, Nebraska, Maryland, and Connecticut.

Initiative would let illegal immigrants work in Calif. legally
Nearly 1 million undocumented immigrants could live and work openly in California with little or no fear of deportation under an initiative unveiled Friday by a state legislator and others.
Well, if they know there are 1 million illegal aliens in the state, why don’t they rent a bunch of buses, and tote them back to the border?
Assemblyman Felipe Fuentes, a Democrat, is helping spearhead the measure, called the California Opportunity and Prosperity Act.
Of course he’s a dem.
The proposal was filed Friday with the state Attorney General’s Office, marking a first step toward a drive to collect the 504,760 voter signatures needed to qualify for the ballot.
Fuentes called the measure a “moderate, common-sense approach” necessitated by the federal government’s inability to pass comprehensive immigration reform.
We already have federal laws in place to deal with the criminals. Common sense would be to ENFORCE THE FREAKIN’ LAWS! Jeeeeeez!
“I hope this shows Washington, D.C., that if they fail to act, California will take the lead on this critical issue,” Fuentes said in a written statement.
Just like California has led the rest of the country down into the cesspool of socialism, eh? They are broke! Why? Well, there are a couple of reasons. One being the ridiculous unions are draining the taxpayers, and two, supporting the numerous criminal aliens, either through public education, medical care, or in the prisons.
Supporters say the initiative could generate up to $325 million in new tax revenue from undocumented workers that could assist education, public safety and other state programs.
And how many millions, or billions, could be generated if they’d just enforce the law? Compared to what the state dishes out, that’s less than pocket change.
Regardless whether Californians would support such a measure, implementation would depend upon the federal government agreeing not to prosecute participants.
Seriously? The state already ignores federal laws. Sanctuary cities are a violation of federal law, and the morons in D.C. just turn a blind eye.
Assemblyman Tim Donnelly, a Republican, blasted the proposal as an attempt to sidestep immigration law. He predicted that it wouldn’t have a “snowball’s chance in hell” of winning voter approval.
“There’s a proper process for coming to this country,” Donnelly said. “Why don’t you respect that?”
Come on now! Mr Donnelly, you should know the answer to that question. Democrats don’t give a damn about the law. From sea to shining sea, dems flout the law at every turn, whether it’s voter fraud, or lining their own pockets with taxpayer money. They don’t even follow the laws THEY come up with, and always find a way around those laws we, as taxpayers, have to follow, or end up in prison.
The proposed initiative would apply to illegal immigrants who have lived in California for four years, have no felony convictions, are not suspected terrorists, pay a fee to administer the program, and can speak English or are learning it.
So, it’s ok to break our laws? And not only break them, but be rewarded? Coming into this country illegally is a crime! If they want to come, do it the LEGAL way, and we’ll welcome you with open arms, and help you assimilate. Come sneaking in the back door, and we don’t much care how you leave, just leave!

White House Official Compares Illegal Immigration to Jaywalking
Cecilia Munoz, the White House director of intergovernmental affairs, compared the federal crime of being in the country illegally to jaywalking.
Say whut?
“If you were running the police department of any urban area in this country, you would spend more resources going after serious criminals than after jaywalkers. DHS (the Department of Homeland Security) is doing the immigration equivalent of the same thing,” Munoz told the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) conference on Monday.
I guess the administration doesn’t consider breaking and entering, and theft a crime? Well, I do. Considering the BILLIONS of dollars stolen from the LEGAL taxpayers to educate, provide healthcare, and any number of benefits that SHOULD be reserved for LEGAL citizens and residents.
Under the new policy, immigration officials will prioritize deportation orders, acting only on those involving people convicted of serious crimes or those who pose a national security or public safety threat.
Personally, I believe breaking into someone’s home is a pretty serious crime, and the cost of supporting so many ILLEGALS is DEFINITELY criminal!
The memo also directs ICE agents to consider how long an individual has been in the U.S., whether that person has a spouse or children who are U.S. citizens, and whether that person has a serious criminal record. Crimes victims, witnesses to crimes, or people who are charged with minor traffic violations, would avoid deportation under the ICE guidance.
I don’t give a flying flip if the individual has been here for 40 years! What part of ILLEGAL does this administration not understand?
Munoz said the administration is acting within its authority – “but we also all understand that even as we use our administrative authority, make the right enforcement judgments, it is not the permanent solution for anybody, it doesn’t solve our immigration problems. In order to do that, we need the Congress of the United States.”
If this administration was serious about solving the ILLEGAL invasion, they might consider living up to their oaths of office, and enforce the laws of the land, instead of turning a blind eye. It’s obvious the security and well being of LEGAL residents is not a priority for the Obama administration, any more than it was for Bush’s.
“We have 10 million, 11 million undocumented people in this country and it’s abundantly clear to anybody who’s paying attention that we’re not going to deport that entire population,” said Munoz.
Why not? And I’d have to say, that number is pretty low.
“It’s not humanly possible. It’s ridiculously expensive…and so what DHS is doing for the first time is trying to have a strategy around the law-enforcement work that it does, and so while it’s enforcing the law vigorously, as [Congressman Luis Gutierrez] points out, it’s also making strategic judgments about who is a priority for enforcement and who isn’t.”
And it’s not expensive having so many millions of criminals roaming our streets?

Alabama Immigration Law Temporarily Blocked
The brief order by U.S. District Judge Sharon L. Blackburn means the law — which opponents and supporters alike have called the toughest in the nation — won’t take effect as scheduled on Thursday. The ruling was cheered both by Republican leaders who were pleased the judge didn’t gut the law and by opponents who compare it to old Jim Crow-era statutes against racial integration.
I must question the IQ level of those who compare attempting to stem the flow of illegals into our country with Jim Crow. Apparently, the education system has failed these people miserably. As I’m sure you are aware, at least I hope you are, it was the Democrats that enacted Jim Crow laws in the South. That same party that is always crying “racist”, and accusing their opponents of being guilty of what they are guilty of themselves. A rather useful tactic, but only if people don’t bother to educate themselves. Since it’s apparent that the public education system has failed miserably, citizens MUST learn these things on their own.
There are people coming into our country, without permission. That’s called breaking the law. It’s criminal, and criminals should be punished. Instead, the left and the amnesty whiners would prefer to reward them. Rewarding criminals creates more criminals. It is costing the taxpayers more than any of us can afford. Enforce the laws! Stop enabling the criminals!

Shurtleff, evangelicals praise Obama deportation policy, blast tea party
Utah Attorney General Mark Shurtleff joined evangelical Christian leaders in applauding the Obama administration’s new deportation policy and blasting the tea party’s hard line on illegal immigration issues.
“Our resources are not best used in this country either nationally, on a statewide level or a local level to go after those who are otherwise law-abiding citizens,” Shurtleff said Tuesday during a National Immigration Forum telephonic news conference.
The Republican attorney general called the tea party’s approach to illegal immigration — round people up and ship them home — unrealistic, unworkable and damaging to the GOP.
“It pains me that the tea party has too much of a voice in turning people to the irrational and the shrill,” he said.
Can we say RINO? I knew we could. Ya know what? I don’t give a flying flip about the GOP! If this is the type of ‘law enforcement’ the GOPers produce, then I want nothing to do with them. It’s against the law to sneak into someone’s home, and steal their money. What is so hard for this asshat to understand? He’s suppose to be an attorney. He should KNOW what’s right, and what’s wrong. Evidently, he must have missed that class in law school.

Texas executes Mexican despite White House plea
The U.S. Supreme Court refused to block Texas from executing a Mexican citizen despite a White House-backed appeal that claimed the case could affect other foreigners arrested in the U.S. and Americans in legal trouble abroad.
Humberto Leal was executed Thursday evening for the 1994 rape and murder of a San Antonio teenager after his attorneys, supported also by the Mexican government and other diplomats, unsuccessfully sought a stay. They argued that Leal was denied help from his home country that could have helped him avoid the death penalty.
You’ll excuse me if I have no sympathy for this animal. He could easily have avoided the death penalty if he had NOT murdered the 16 year old girl! It’s that simple. You don’t wanna die…..resist the crime.
This was just one more issue for our illustrious leader to make himself look the fool, siding against the citizens of THIS country, in favor of foreign criminals. I wonder why no one has noted this sort of behavior in previous presidents? Oh….that’s right….BECAUSE D’BLVIOUS IS ONE OF A KIND. Thank God. I don’t think the country could stand too many more like him.
So, in the meantime, we clothed, fed and housed this animal for 17 years or so. I wish someone would explain to me why, once the verdict and penalty were decided, why they didn’t take him out back and shoot him like the dog he is/was? Teens stand up to deportations
Mercedes Gonzalez was stopped for speeding — going 48 mph in a 40 mph zone — several days before her Overton High School graduation in May.
Because she did not have a driver’s license, the 18-year-old girl was detained and screened for deportation.
Let’s see here….the girl was breaking two laws before it was found out she was illegal. Sorry. No sympathy.
Gonzalez, who was born in Mexico and moved here when she was 11, was released on her own recognizance. She will appear in immigration court, but no date has been set. She did not want to comment on the case.
Her parent(s) broke the law. Granted, she didn’t have much say in the matter, but she is still here illegally.
“The undocumented student movement is, perhaps, the most impressive contemporary social movement in the U.S.,” said University of Washington professor Roberto Gonzales, who studies undocumented youth’s transition to adulthood. “Largely, through their own efforts, students have led coordinated national efforts to fight deportations and pressure elected officials to pay attention to them.”
Calling it a rose does not change it from a thorn. They are ILLEGAL! Plain and simple. Whether or not they came here willingly, or unwillingly, their parents broke the law, and by continuing the charade, they too, are breaking the law. Perhaps if some officials weren’t so eager to insult the hard working American people, this wouldn’t be an issue. Why are we forced to pay for the education of the children of those who flagrantly break our laws? Who thought that would be such a good idea?
Mercedes Gonzalez’s lawyers have asked federal agents to drop her case. Even if they do she will still be in legal limbo. Agents may drop deportation proceedings, but that simply puts undocumented immigrants right back in an illegal status waiting for the next traffic stop.
Excuse me, but if they are ‘undocumented immigrants’ they already have ‘ILLEGAL’ status! She is of age now. She could very well go back where she was born, and start the legal process of coming to this country. Here’s a thought… How about we DON’T allow the children of illegals to attend the schools paid for by LEGAL taxpaying citizens? And how about closing the border while ejecting all those who thumb their noses at our laws?

“Why Aren’t You Speaking English?”
During committee testimony this week in Austin, a Texas senator interrupted a Spanish speaker telling him he should “be speaking in English” during a committee hearing.
Antolin Aguirre of the Austin Immigrant Rights Coalition was testifying against Senate Bill 9 that would help crack down on illegal immigrants in Texas. Aguirre spoke through an interpreter even though he had been in the U.S. since 1988.
Two minutes into Antolin Aguirre’s testimony, Sen. Chris Harris, a Republican from Arlington, interrupted asking Aguirre’s interrupter, “Did I understand him correctly that he has been here since 1988?” Harris asked. “Why aren’t you speaking in English then?”
23 years, and he can’t be bothered to learn the language of the land? Did he come legally? Did he go through proper channels? Did he become a citizen, by choice? If so, then why hasn’t he learned the language of his home? Unless, of course, he doesn’t consider this to be home. In that case….get the hell out!
“It is insulting to us,” Sen. Harris fired back. “It is very insulting. And if he knows English, he needs to be speaking in English.”
Insulting is an understatement! That “immigrant rights” bs is also quite insulting! You immigrate, you become a citizen, you are no longer an immigrant. And they aren’t really talking about REAL immigrants, are they. It’s all about the criminals, isn’t it. You know the ones. They sneak in the back door, flop themselves down in the living room and expect YOU to cook dinner.
Millions of people have come to this land in hopes of making a better life for themselves. They learn the language, they adapt to their new surroundings, and become part of their new home. It was called a ‘melting pot’. We all blended together to become the greatest nation on the planet. My own adopted grandparents among them. The came, learned the language, started businesses, had families, sons who fought in wars to protect their homeland, with pride.
In recent years, thanks to the stupidity of a few, there are now two groups that come here, believing the country should change for THEIR benefit. There are 2 groups who apparently don’t believe adapting to their new country is important. Evidently, the country is suppose to adapt to them. Take a wild guess which two groups. One want to change the law, and the other wants to break it.
The Texas bill, SB 9, puts an end to sanctuary cities. And who has a problem with this? Well, those same people who refuse to learn the language, and believe it’s ok to break the law. They think it will cause discrimination. But what actually causes discrimination is THEIR refusal to adhere to the law. Honestly, few in this country care where you came from originally. Oh sure, there are some who have a problem with EVERYBODY, and anybody who is different. Can’t do much about that. But for those who have come through the front door, and made the effort to adapt, the majority of Americans have no problem, no matter your skin color, or your accent, or place of origin, you are more than welcome.
Now learn the damn language!

Latinos Comprise Nearly Half of All People Sentenced for Federal Felonies
The 70 undocumented immigrants, mostly men and mostly in their 20s and 30s, fill the 16-seat jury box and seven rows of wooden benches normally reserved for the public in Tucson’s gleaming federal courthouse. The courtroom is expansive, with a regally high ceiling, and is filled with the pungent smell of dried sweat.
In only an hour or so, the dozens of immigrants will agree to plead guilty and be sentenced in a process that could play out for months for most federal defendants.
The scene offers a window into a federal immigration enforcement effort that is pushing the limits of the U.S. justice system, overwhelming federal judges and escalating the ranks of Latinos sent to prison.
I don’t know….just a thought here, but perhaps, just maybe, if we would actually stop them from crossing the border, ILLEGALLY, then, y’know….maybe….they wouldn’t be wasting OUR tax dollars? Just thinking out loud.
There’s an old saying, from a rather wise dude, Benjamin Franklin, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” Well, excuse me, but wouldn’t it make a whole lot more sense if we actually PREVENTED THEM from sneaking across the borders, with their drugs and ‘migrants’, than to have to house them in OUR jails and prisons, at OUR expense?

Vermont’s Single-Payer Health Care Bill Ignites Debate Over Covering Illegal Immigrants
At least one roadblock stands in the way of Vermont’s path toward becoming the first state to adopt a single-payer health care system: coverage for illegal immigrants.
First question, why would anyone want socialized medicine? Has no one learned diddly from Cuba, Great Britain, etc? Second question: Who the hell cares what ILLEGALS want, or don’t want?
The state Senate, which passed its version of the bill this week, added a last-minute provision that would bar illegal immigrants from being covered under a state-run insurance program the bill envisions setting up called Green Mountain Care.
The move outraged immigrant advocates.
An immigrant is someone who comes in the front door, follows the rules, and adapts to their new environment, instead of trying to change it to exactly the same they came from. An ILLEGAL has no right to expect ANYTHING from the country they’ve broken into….ILLEGALLY!
“When we say health care is a human right, we mean for everybody who lives and works in Vermont regardless of legal status,” the Vermont Workers’ Center said in a statement.”We will not tolerate racial profiling and accept the unjust immigration and foreign policies of the federal government. We can do better than that.”

Arizona Sheriff Cites Flood of Border Agents Confirming Feds’ No-Apprehension Policy
An Arizona sheriff says he has been flooded with calls and emails of support from local and federal agents who back his claims that the U.S. Border Patrol has effectively ordered them to stop apprehending illegal immigrants crossing the U.S.-Mexican border.
“Upper management has advised supervisors to have agents ‘turn back South’ (TBS) the illegal aliens (aka bodies) they detect attempting to unlawfully enter the country … at times you even hear supervisors order the agents over the radio to ‘TBS’ the aliens instead of catching them,” one San Diego border agent wrote in an email to Cochise County Sheriff Larry Dever.
And from whom does ‘upper management’ get their marching orders?
“This only causes more problems as the aliens, as you know, don’t just go back to Mexico and give up. They keep trying, sometimes without 10 minutes in-between attempts, to cross illegally,” continued the email, which was among a number of communications to Dever reviewed by FoxNews.com. “This makes the job for agents more dangerous. Not only are the aliens more defiant, they also begin to feel like they can get away with breaking our federal laws.”
Does anyone wonder why we’re still being overrun by criminals? (A large number being elected to office, or appointed to positions of power.) They laugh at those of us who WANT to have our laws enforced, and vote Democrat! Illegally, of course.
FoxNews.com first reported this month that Dever said several Border Patrol officials, including at least one senior supervisor, told him they had been directed to keep the number of border apprehensions down by chasing illegal immigrants back toward Mexico. Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano has recently cited a reduction in border apprehensions as evidence of an increasingly secure border.
Lady, and I use the term loosely, you can LIE about your record, but it’s still a LIE! And contrary to what you yahoos up there in Swamp Land seem to believe, we’uns ain’t so stoopid after all! In the REAL world, a person who fails to do their job, then lies about doing it, gets fired! And you, Mzzzzzzzzz Napolitano, NEED to be FIRED! You have failed miserably. The patient is dying due, in part, to your incompetence, and that of your “boss”. But don’t forget, in reality, WE are your boss, and WE aren’t none too thrilled with your job performance!
Sadly, this incompetence has been going on a very long time, even before the Obama administration took over. The flood gates opened in the 80s, when, mistakenly, Ronald Reagan granted amnesty to about 3million illegals. Why, pray tell, has this been allowed to continue? Does NO ONE have the cajones to stand up and stop the invasion?
