WHAT?
I don’t usually post on Sunday morning. I’m too busy trying to get both eyes open so I can get ready for church, but when I saw a link to THIS on FB…..
Citing an increasing debt burden, Egan-Jones Ratings Co. downgrades the US credit rating another notch. This is the second time they have done this in 8 months.
Here is what the President Sean Egan said in a telephone interview:
Reason for downgrade: “the increasing debt load coupled with the fact that there has been no tangible progress in addressing the country’s growing debt to GDP”
“Unfortunately, the debt is growing fairly rapidly while the GDP is not.”
The debt has climbed 23.6% from 2008 to 2010.
What is Obama doing to address this? Probably taking a vacation or campaigning.
This is dated April 9. It’s now April 22. Am I the only one who never heard a word about another downgrade? I realize I haven’t been keeping up with the outside world as well as I should….too much going on…but seriously, I do watch the news once in a while, and if I heard about this, it evidently went in one ear, and out the other, which I find highly unlikely!

Nugent: ‘Solid, professional’ meeting with Secret Service
“I met with two fine, professional Secret Service agents in OK today,” Nugent wrote in a statement published at his website. “Good, solid, professional meeting concluding that I have never made any threats of violence towards anyone. Anyone who bothered to listen to what Uncle Ted actually said, could have come to the same conclusion, and it wouldn’t have cost the tax payers a flippin’ dime! But no…the leftards have to get their knickers all in a twist, especially the mediatards! It was just peachy keen when THEY threatened Bush’s life, literally, even made a movie about assassinating him, and what happened? NOT A DAMN THING! They hung Sarah Palin in effigy, and questions were asked, but I don’t recall anyone from PMSNBC getting all riled up, demanding the perpetrator be thrown in jail. These are literally sick, demented beings, who behave as though the world is falling apart anytime a conservative opens his or her mouth, criticizing their messiah, who should be criticized, and quite often.
The media should be at the forefront, investigating REAL crimes of this administration, yet we get silence. A lunatic unionista in Wisconsin sends death threats to elected officials in Wisconsin, and what……a slap on the wrist? Did you hear the socialist controlled Obama mouthpieces report on the constant threats towards Republican lawmakers in that state? Pfft! Paleeeeeze!
We do still have a 1st Amendment….for now. And thank God we have people like Ted Nugent who is willing to speak up and call a spade a spade! This is the most corrupt administration of my lifetime, and that include Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton. Having private citizens speak the truth is not a crime. What is a crime is that the media won’t!

I must admit, when I saw this headline, I was quite happy to see that someone was finally taking notice of an epidemic that has plagued society for way too long!
TN House passes bill for tougher domestic violence penalties
Then, I read the content!
The state House of Representatives approved tougher penalties for domestic violence, including a minimum of 30 days in jail for second-time offenders.
30 days? SECOND TIME OFFENDERS? I’m speechless!
House Bill 2389, a measure put forward by Gov. Bill Haslam in January, passed the House Wednesday morning on a 98-1 vote. Lawmakers generally supported stricter punishments for domestic violence, and the only concerns raised about the bill dealt with the cost to local jails and that it did not require first-time offenders to receive counseling.
In my opinion, this bill doesn’t go near far enough, but there was one person who voted ‘nay’, Rep. Eddie Bass
D-Prospect, District 65. The answer as to why is below. The concern about cost to local jails is also a question…when does the life of a woman become more important than the cost to the jail? And why not charge the offender, you know, the guy that beats the crap out a woman, rent for his time spent in said jail? Why not give FIRST time offenders 30 days, and insist on ‘counseling’? Not that it does all the much good, because generally, those who abuse once, find it so easy to abuse again, and again! But there are a few who might realize they have a problem and actually WANT to deal with it. It is possible. 
The measure mandates a minimum sentence of 30 days for second offenders and 90 days for people convicted three or more times. Along with shifting supervision of felons and tracking sales of prescription drugs and methamphetamine precursors, increasing penalties for domestic violence was a major element of the anti-crime package Haslam announced before the legislative session.
90 days. And what is the penalty for the person who ends up in the hospital? Or the morgue? 120 days? Are they serious? Have they never seen the damage, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally, that is done to victims in such crimes? It’s not just the woman, or in some cases, the man, who suffers long term damage. There are usually children involved, whether or not they receive abuse as well, there are scars that go deep, and only with a lot of help, will those scars start to heal. They never go away completely. And in many cases, the cycle continues with those who witnessed the crimes.
Supporters said tougher penalties are needed to combat Tennessee’s high rates of domestic violence. Tennessee ranks fifth in the nation in the rate by which women are murdered by men, according to the Washington, D.C.-based Violence Policy Center.
And do these supporters consider 30 or 90 days “tougher penalties”? I sure don’t! Do you know there is not one single shelter in this entire area for battered women? Nowhere for them to escape, and attempt to start a new life, with aid and guidance? NOTHING! I know, because I asked. Why? No, I’m not battered. Now. But I wanted to volunteer my time to help. Nothing! I wanted to start one, but I have no money, and evidently, there isn’t much interest in helping get one started. I didn’t know where to go to ask, but those I did speak to, said they’d check around, and then….nothing.
State Rep. Eddie Bass, D-Prospect, cast the sole vote against the measure. Bass presented an amendment before the vote that would have required the state to foot the full $5.8 million cost to incarcerate offenders longer in local jails.
As I said previously, charge the offender for the cost of housing their sorry asses.
His proposal was rejected. Supporters noted that they already had agreed to reduce the penalties from Haslam’s original proposal — 45 days for second offenders, 120 days after that — to save money.
While they’re ‘saving money’, how many women will be beaten to death? To say I’m more than disappointed in our legislators would be an understatement. Oh yes, I’m glad they realize their is a problem and have taken a few steps, but those steps do not go far enough. If I had my druthers, I’d vote for public flogging, in front of all the offender’s friends and family, co-workers, neighbors, and anyone he, or she, has come into contact with throughout their entire lives. After flogging, stocks and pillory. Then jail, which, of course, they would pay for themselves!
Abuse isn’t just physical. It’s also mental and emotional. Those scars run deep, and Tennessee just helped to make them deeper!
Consequences of “Social Engineering”
Social-diversity programs as applied to the U.S. military have been accompanied by a startling number of sex crimes: 515 rapes, 414 aggravated sexual assaults and 349 forcible sodomies documented by the Criminal Investigation Command in just 2011, according to an analysis of several military reports.

“Pentagon officials regularly praise their own work and proclaim undeserved ‘success,’ even though evidence of sexual misconduct, both consensual and non-consensual, continues to accelerate, year after year,” said Elaine Donnelly, chief of the Center for Military Readiness.
If the increased number of sexual assaults in the Army is what they consider ‘success’, we have got some major problems going on in the Pentagon.
The organization studied several new military reports to arrive at its assessment of what’s been going on in the ranks over the past few years, as Barack Obama and his compatriots in Congress eliminated the longstanding “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy that banned open homosexuals from the military.
Repealing DODT was a really bad idea. For many years, gays served in the military, many with honor, but they weren’t allowed to ‘flaunt’ their sexuality. Many of those around them ‘knew’, but as long as it wasn’t blatant, then most had no problem. However….the increase in assaults can NOT be blamed on this repeal. The increase in assaults began when someone had the bright idea that men and women were the same, and should be trained together. Are they out of their flippin’ minds? Obviously, the answer is……………..YES!
“It is time to reconsider and change flawed policies that are weakening the culture of the only military we have,” Donnelly said.

Media Matters’ targets revealed: business, wealth, Christianity
When David Brock applied for tax-exempt status for Media Matters for America, he told the IRS exactly who his group would be fighting against: businesses, wealthy Americans and conservative Christians.
“Media Matters for America (MMA) believes that news reporting and analysis by the American media, with its eye on profit margin and preservation of the status quo, has become biased,” read the group’s application, obtained by The Daily Caller, “It is common for news and commentary by the press to present viewpoints that tend to overly promote corporate interests, the rights of the wealthy, and a conservative, Christian-influenced ideology.”
Ya know, I’d find such statements downright hilarious if I thought these people were actually kidding. But sadly, they are not. I’d like to tell you people at MMA that if Christians had control of the media, you wouldn’t be watching 90% of the garbage you see on TV these days, and that includes the flippin’ commercials!
Media Matters has made no secret of its adherence to progressive principles, but flagging Christianity as having undue influence in media is the latest revelation about the group’s treatment of religion.
I honestly don’t think they realize just how much influence the opposite of Christianity has influenced all media. And that’s quite sad. From the evening news, to the car commercials, we have seen a complete turn around in our society. From shame to anything goes, sending the message to young girls that it’s ok to be a ‘slut’, as long as you dress like one…get your sexy little girl panties and drive the boys wild. Seriously? Do you actually believe that if TRUE Christians had the sort of influence that MMA says it does, that we’d be seeing a commercial for “Three and a Half Men” with a major character stating ‘your mother and my mother are having an affair’? Would we be seeing Bones and Booth having a baby, living together, with no hint of matrimony? Would trash like Jersey Shore be renewed season after season? Seriously? Do they really believe that any true Bible believing, washed in the Blood, Christian would allow such garbage to be shown on their television, if they had so much influence in the media? How about that Seventeen Magazine? Have you seen a copy of that lately? I wouldn’t line my cat box with the garbage they print, but young girls are influenced by the pictures they see of those refugee from Auschwitz type models, and many end up starving themselves to death because they feel they are ugly. What is ugly is what the media portrays as beautiful and normal.
I won’t even get into what they pass off as ‘music’. “Bitches”? “Hos”? Violence, screeching unintelligible lyrics, that if most parents could understand, would find itself in the shredder. At least I hope it would!
Unfortunately, there are far too many churches in this country who have turned a blind eye to the negative message the media presents, all in the name of diversity, acceptance, and tolerance. I honestly wish that Christianity had as much influence in the media as this bunch of leftists would like to portray. Hollywood would produce movies without a load of four lettered words that add nothing to the dialogue, there would be an obvious lack of gratuitous sex, and boys and girls could find some role models that didn’t encourage them to destroy their lives with binge drinking and drug use, casual sex, and baby murder.
As parents, we have an obligation to teach our kids right from wrong. I, sadly, was a bad influence on my kid. Yep, I was a really bad mother. If I had had more positives in my life, than negatives…sadly, of my own choosing, perhaps I could have become a better role model for her. Thankfully, she overcame my stupidity, and has turned out much better than I had hoped.
Am I a prude? Yep…reckon so….now. Through my life, I have learned many lessons, one of which dragged me kicking and screaming OUT of that world, and into one where I have found true joy. We should be so lucky that the media would present the TRUE side of Christianity, and be so influenced.
IMHO, this organization does not qualify as tax exempt, as it’s stated purpose for receiving it was based on complete lies!
“Caught By Surprise”?
Taliban lead attacks on U.S. bases and government sites across Afghanistan
Taliban-led insurgents opened a spring offensive Sunday with a wave of coordinated suicide missions, firing at embassies and government offices from seized buildings in Kabul and attacking U.S. bases and police stations in three eastern provinces.
The strikes, which seemed to catch U.S.-led forces and Afghan authorities by surprise, sparked fierce firefights in Kabul and two other cities that underscored the insurgency’s lethality as U.S. combat troops gird for the second phase of a withdrawal due to end in 2014.
“This is the start of the spring operations,” Zabihullah Mujahid, a Taliban spokesman, declared in a cellphone interview with McClatchy. “This is just the beginning.”
Caught them by surprise? Seriously? It’s spring, right? And isn’t spring when the crazy people come out? And if there is anyone more crazy than the Taliban muzzies, I’m can’t think of ‘em right now. (It is fairly early, and I’m still working on my first cup of coffee.) I would expect the morons in the Obama administration to be surprised, but not the troops that are on the ground in that God forsaken future field of glass! I would think from experience, they would know that attacks were coming and be prepared, no matter what those fools in Washington say.
Perhaps if our troops had been allowed to do their job, wipe the sons of beaches out, like most logical people would do with an enemy that wants to destroy you, we wouldn’t be spending billions of dollars and the greatest of treasure in that hell hole, propping up a corrupt government, feeding the demon.
The violence, which lasted past nightfall in Kabul and Puli Alam, the capital of neighboring Logar province, claimed the lives of at least 26 insurgents and four civilians, Afghan and NATO officials said. At least 36 others, mostly civilians, were wounded. All of the casualties were Afghans. Some of the attackers were captured.
The attacks, Mujahid said, were “a message” in response to recent assertions by U.S. officials and NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen “that there would be no spring offensive because we are not able to fight.”
The U.S.-led International Security Assistance Force, or ISAF, issued a statement calling the strikes “largely ineffective.”
“Largely ineffective”? Honestly, I’m flabbergasted. I bet ya dollars to donuts, the families of those civilians who were murdered think the scum were pretty effective. I’d think the wounded would feel the same way, as well. And this is the bunch that that fool who claims to be the ‘CiC’ wants to negotiate with? We could have ended this whole damn thing a long time ago if the politicians had let our military do its job! Screw that ‘winning hearts and minds’ butt explosion! You fight a war to win! Not make friends! You demand fear and respect from your enemy, not give them money. You completely and utterly destroy them! Think Japan, 1945! Get rid of Karzai, all of his cronies, put in a provisional U.S. Military government, wipe out the bad guys, and see if those left would prefer to live in peace. Democrat Wants To Watch Cheney Execution
“Moderate Caucus” chair urges Cheney’s execution
Rep. Chuck Kruger (D-Thomaston), the Democrat chair of the Maine legislature’s Moderate Caucus, used his Twitter account to express his view that former Vice President Dick Cheney should be executed. This comment has led some to question the validity of Kruger’s moderate credentials.
Kruger made the statement through his Twitter account this past summer, saying, “Cheney deserves same final end he gave Saddam. Hope there are cell cams,” a reference to technology that would allow Kruger to watch the proposed execution of the former Vice President of the United States.
It’s quite apparent to me that this ‘man’ has NO business holding ANY elected office. Town dog catcher would be above his mental abilities. I would suggest the people of Maine start a very serious campaign to rid themselves of such an embarrassment. If the person who said such things, perhaps calling for the execution of Clinton, or Gore, or even Obama and Biden, had a ‘R’ behind his name, there would be such an uproar, we would still be hearing it 100 years into the future!
Why wasn’t this brought out when the ‘tweet’ first appeared in last August? He wants to “have fun with this“? He apologized….this morning. Six months later. If it hadn’t come out, do you really believe there would have been an apology? Nope….me neither! Joking about putting the former Vice President in a cell with a closed circuit camera so he could watch him get the ‘same treatment as Saddam Hussein? Not amusing under any circumstances. Obviously, this moron isn’t aware just how evil Hussein really was!
I realize that many people in the New England area believe themselves to be superior to the rest of the country, but guess what! You aren’t, and having such a state representative proves y’all have no class either! Notice I said many…not all. There are some decent folks from that part of the country, and I’m really sorry they have had to put up with people such as Kerry, Kennedy, Snowe, and this asshat, “Freddy” Kruger.
I am offended! I would be offended if he had said it was Biden who should be strung up! I am offended that this type of person is in an elected office. I am offended that he hasn’t turned in his resignation and stepped down from his seat in the Maine legislature. I am offended that such people even exist at all!

Well, which is it? I’m getting a very sinking feeling…one I’ve had, day after day, after day, after day…starting on the night of November 4, 2008. We really are a nation of morons!
Without those evil rich folks, there would be no middle class. Is that Obama’s intent? To completely destroy those of us in the ‘middle class’. Personally, I don’t see myself of any ‘class’. I’m an American, and I want and need, what is best for the country as a whole. When the rich do well, the rest of us do well. With one exception….those who have been feeding off the teat of the taxpayers, from one generation to the next.
IF Mitt Romney is the nominee, and IF he is able to take the White House from the Marxist in chief, I expect to see a much quicker turn around in the economy, with private sector job growth. I say IF because I seriously doubt the unions, and that a foreign owned company (Spain) will let our votes actually count. Just who decided a foreign company could, or would, ensure that our elections would fair? This is a FOREIGN company…not a U.S. company, that, IMHO, would do its utmost to make sure ever vote counts. I am at the point where I don’t believe Obama will allow himself to be defeated, by whatever means necessary. There will be voter fraud out the wazoo, and of course, that useless piece of crap holding the highest law enforcement office in the land will turn a blind eye, just like he has done, time and time again. It wouldn’t surprise me one single bit if the head honchos at the DOJ are sitting in their ‘ivory towers’ right now, coming up with plans to basically steal the election from the American people.
Obama is not a leader. He is a campaigner. That’s what he does, day in, day out. He is incapable of reason and logic. He’s been campaigning since he managed to steal the Senate seat back in 2006, and evidently, he doesn’t know how to be a leader. All those ‘campaign promises’? Hot air from an empty suit. I was willing to give him a chance. Well, he had his chance, and he blew it! He has succeeded in one area though….the ‘blame game’. You see, none of his worthless policies have worked to turn the economy around, so, naturally, it’s someone else’s fault. “BUSH DID IT!” After 3 1/2 years, don’t you think it’s time for him to pull up his big boy pants, and take responsibility for his own actions?
To quote Charlie Sykes: Life isn’t fair, get over it! Everyone has the same opportunities to succeed. It’s our choice whether or not we make use of those opportunities. Success isn’t counted in dollar signs. Success is what you do with your life, if you are happy, if you have filled that huge hole in your life, if you share joy with others, if your respect yourself, and raise your children to be productive, to respect themselves, and look toward yourself to meet your own goals. THAT is success!
Apparently, the current occupant of the White House has never understood exactly what America, and Americans, stand for. He was not raised in the country during his formative years, and those ‘role models’ he had while growing up, obviously didn’t understand the concept of liberty whatsoever. They were incapable of understanding the principles taught in the Bible, and having a ‘pastor’ such a Jeremiah Wright was no help in setting him on the path of Truth. He obviously has no idea what the true meaning of both the Declaration of Independence, and the United States Constitution. The warped sense of self is great in ‘the ONE’. And he is obviously unfamiliar with the word ‘NO’.

There Ought To Be A Law!
Oh….wait a minute….THERE IS! It’s called the Constitution, which LIMITS the power of the government, NOT the people!
President Obama has touted reports from the Congressional Budget Office claiming his health care law would actually decrease the deficit. But due to a bundle of budget gimmicks and other legislation, calculations show that Obamacare actually adds $698 billion to the deficit. This week’s chart outlines each of those budget gimmicks.
“This morning a new analysis from the Congressional Budget Office concludes that the reform we seek would bring $1.3 trillion in deficit reduction over the next two decades. That makes this legislation the most significant effort to reduce deficits since the Balanced Budget Act in the 1990s,” Obama declared two years ago.
CBO actually did project the health care law would reduce the deficit, but that assessment has “always rested on a series of omissions, gimmicks, double-counting of savings, and implausible assumptions that also have not changed since the law was enacted in 2010,” according to James Capretta, a visiting fellow at The Heritage Foundation.
The CBO report double-counted Medicare savings, which adds $400 billion to the deficit. The Medicare cuts were supposed to pay for both entitlement expansions and future benefits out of the Medicare Hospital Insurance trust fund.
So, let’s face a few facts here: Barack Hussein Obama, and his minions, have been lying to, cheating, and stealing from the American people. As Reagan said: “It’s not that liberals are ignorant; it’s just that they know so much that isn’t so.” All you have to do is listen to Debbie Washerwoman Schultz to know that this is STILL the case. (What a buffoon). They have taken your money, that you worked to earn, and “invested” in companies that anyone in their right mind, with any economic sense, would steer clear of!
They have thrown this overreaching bill in our face, and told us we will like it or else! Or else what? Well, you’ll get fined, and of course, there is always the possibility of spending time in jail because you totally disagree with the idea that the government has the ‘right’ to force you to buy something you don’t need, don’t want, and the country, as a whole, can’t afford.
They lie to seniors, telling them the Republican plans will cut Medicare, and yet, that is exactly what THEY have done. They steal your hard earned money, and give it to people who are nothing more than animals who would go out of their way to murder you in the middle of the street, in a heartbeat, and think nothing of it. They encourage “dissent” in other countries and total anarchy in our own, yet insult and belittle those who disagree with their policies. You know the ones I mean…those who support the Constitution, and would very much appreciate if all elected officials would uphold their oath to ‘support and defend’. Yet when they don’t, and won’t, nothing is ever done so why bother. I honestly question how many who are holding elected office have ever actually read our founding documents? I have no problem responding, that very few know what is even in either of the most important documents, since they have a tendency to misquote, leave out parts, and generally ignore them.
We have a POTUS, who nothing more than a spoiled, narcissistic, little boy, who when he doesn’t get his own way, will go around the elected bodies that supposedly represent the PEOPLE, and sign executive orders. Misuse of power? Oh yeah…and lots of it! Intimidation, voter fraud, outright theft of the PEOPLE’S money. I’d say we have plenty of reason to worry.
Note to Republicans in office: GROW A PAIR!

Questions Questions
Last week, on March 26, The Orlando Sentinel had this story with the headline:
Trayvon Martin case: Martin was the aggressor, police sources say
The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that police sources say Martin was the aggressor on Feb. 26, knocking Zimmerman to the ground with a single punch and then climbing on top of the 28-year-old neighborhood watch captain and slamming the back of his head into the ground. Police say this account, given by Zimmerman, is supported by eyewitnesses, according to the Sentinel’s report.
One such witness reportedly told police that he saw Martin on top of Zimmerman, striking the man, while Zimmerman cried out for help. The attack left Zimmerman bloodied, police sources told the Sentinel, and led him to fire at Martin in self-defense.
Police say Zimmerman was bleeding from the nose, had a fat lip and confirm that the back of his head was cut. He received first aid at the scene but refused to go to the hospital and received medical treatment the following day, according to the Sentinel’s sources.
So, if this information has been out for the last week or so, why isn’t it common knowledge? I mean, I knew about it, but I typically check more than one source for information. If these are actual facts in the case, evidently, facts don’t matter to the BCB, or the race baiters.
Question: Did the police take any pictures of Zimmerman’s injuries? If so, why haven’t they released them? Such pictures would go a long way to back up Zimmerman’s claim of being attacked.
Another question: Will the BCB introduce a resolution to commemorate Nancy and Bob Strait? How about one for the young Latino boy?
