Obama Flack Accidentally Sends Out Pre-Debate Talking Points
“Reminder: These are for staff only and not for distribution,” warns the e-mail.
And then, the spin, accidentally sent to reporters this morning.
“* This is John McCain’s last chance to turn this race around and somehow convince the American people that his erratic response to this economic crisis doesn’t disqualify him from being president.
“* Just this weekend, John McCain vowed to ‘whip Obama’s you-know-what’ at the debate, and he’s indicated that he’ll be bringing up Bill Ayers to try to distract voters.
“* So we know that Senator McCain will come ready to attack Barack Obama and bring his dishonorable campaign tactics to the debate stage.
“Obama continues to lead on the economic crisis with a rescue plan for Main Street.
“Over the course of the campaign, Barack Obama has laid out a set of policies that will grow our middle class and strengthen our economy.
“But he knows we face an immediate economic emergency that requires urgent action -– on top of the plans he’s already laid out –- to help workers and families and communities struggling right now.
“That’s why Barack Obama is introducing a comprehensive four-part Rescue Plan for the Middle Class -– to immediately stabilize our financial system, provide relief to families and communities, and help struggling homeowners.
“This is a plan that can and should be implemented immediately.
“Obama has shown steady leadership during this crisis and offered concrete solutions to move the country forward -– and his Rescue Plan for the Middle Class builds on the plans to strengthen the economy and rebuild the middle class that he’s laid out over the course of this campaign.
“Already in this campaign, he’s unveiled plans to give 95 percent of workers and their families a tax cut, eliminate income taxes for seniors making under $50,000, bring down the cost of health care for families and businesses; and create millions of new jobs by investing in the renewable energy sources.
“John McCain has been erratic and unsteady since this crisis began -– staggering from position to position and trying to change the subject away from the economy by launching false character attacks.”

Where Is All That White Liberal Anger Coming From?
It’s a bit of a paradox, but in politics it’s hard not to notice that the angriest people are not small town folk “clinging” to guns and religion or racial minorities in the inner cities, but upper middle class white liberals.
These are some of the same people who will often talk about the anger of inner city blacks or Muslims abroad, or the working class people… but rarely if ever do they talk about their own anger. Yet it’s their anger, their barely suppressed simmering rage that is driving our political process.
From the black ski cap wearing protesters hurling bags of cement at both conventions, the Code Pink women hoping for Cindy Sheehan sized stardom, the upper middle class authors and directors who flirt in fiction with the idea of assassinating Bush to your average DailyKos diarist, the white middle class liberal of both genders is vastly overrepresented when it comes to furious political tantrums. But where then is all that anger coming from?
We are after all talking about people who aren’t starving, who aren’t oppressed, except occasionally in their own minds, and who live better than the other 99 percent of the globe. And yet paradoxically that may be exactly what drives their anger.

UN: crisis must not stop climate change action
Environment ministers agreed Tuesday that the world financial crisis must not halt efforts to combat global warming, the top United Nations climate official said.
Officials from the U.S., China, Canada, India, the European Union and more than 30 other countries met for two days of informal talks in Warsaw ahead of a climate conference in December.
“There was a very strong consensus that the current financial turmoil should not be an excuse to slow down action on climate change,” U.N. climate chief Yvo de Boer told The Associated Press after the talks.
“Many ministers said that addressing climate change can deliver important economic benefits that are important in the light of the current financial situation as well,” de Boer added.
Are they freakin’ kidding???? After all the evidence to the contrary, they still are going forward with this nonsense?
This is nothing more than a plan to take control of every country, mandating global taxes to control something that happens naturally. Yeah, maybe one of the ice caps is melting, but hey, the other has grown. Maybe it’s a little warmer in the summer, but wasn’t last winter the COLDEST ON RECORD?
The arrogance of man is showing, big time. We do NOT control the planet. Common sense says you adapt, and if you can’t, you die! Climate change has been going on for MILLIONS of years. It’s not something we did, and we can’t stop it.
Scientists say the emission of carbon and other greenhouse gases, mostly from fossil fuels, must peak within 10 to 15 years and then drop sharply to avoid potentially catastrophic changes in the climate.
What scientists? The ones they paid, along with the Boracle, to come up with a ‘plan’?
We either adapt, or die! Simple.

Officials: Mexican Pot Growers Are Polluting American Wilderness
National forests and parks — long popular with Mexican marijuana-growing cartels — have become home to some of the most polluted pockets of wilderness in America because of the toxic chemicals needed to eke lucrative harvests from rocky mountainsides, federal officials said.
The grow sites have taken hold from the West Coast’s Cascade Mountains, as well as on federal lands in Kentucky, Tennessee and West Virginia.
Seven hundred grow sites were discovered on U.S. Forest Service land in California alone in 2007 and 2008 — and authorities say the 1,800-square-mile Sequoia National Forest is the hardest hit.
Weed and bug sprays, some long banned in the U.S., have been smuggled to the marijuana farms. Plant growth hormones have been dumped into streams, and the water has then been diverted for miles in PVC pipes.
Rat poison has been sprinkled over the landscape to keep animals away from tender plants. And many sites are strewn with the carcasses of deer and bears poached by workers during the five-month growing season that is now ending.

Now, I’m trying really hard to figure out the logic on such a comment. So, he/she/it thinks it would have been a good idea if I had been aborted. Very classy indeed.
Since I’ve never been to Alaska, I wouldn’t mind seeing that part of the country. I hear it’s a beautiful state.
I can only assume he/she/it is making fun of my love of my Lord. Rather sad someone has such hatred eating them up. Pathetic indeed. I feel no shame for my faith, and I will never apologize to confess Christ as my Savior.

Government pushes for global halt to executions
Italy’s Foreign Minister Franco Frattini on Friday reiterated the Government’s commitment to end executions worldwide.
“Minister Frattini expresses his strong support for moves worldwide to abolish the death penalty,” said a statement from Italy’s Foreign Ministry, released to mark the European day against the death penalty.
I guess Mr Frattini wants to supply food and housing for child murderers, mass murderers, etc. I don’t know….can he afford to support ALL of them?
The Italian Foreign Ministry’s statement backed the resolution approved last year by the United Nations’ General Assembly calling on states to halt all executions immediately and enact bans on capital punishment in their legislation.
Here’s a “WHO GIVES A FLYING FLIP” about what the Useless Numnuts say or do? They are nothing more that child murderers and rapists themselves!
“Reports of the execution of minors and other vulnerable people are a particular cause for concern,” the statement said.
Perhaps they should have a “chat” with those nice folks in Iran about that!
“The death penalty constitutes a violation of the most fundamental of human rights: the right to life,” said an EU statement.
Psst! EU! 
Well, I suppose those ‘civilized’ types over there don’t much care about the victims of the scum who kill for the fun of it. I’ve no doubt they’d have been against capital punishment for Hitler, eh?
The Rome-based Hands Off Cain, which campaigns to stop the death penalty, estimated that China executed least 5,000 people in 2007.
Iran had the second highest number of executions, with 377 in 2007, according to campaign group Amnesty International.
The United States was fifth in the rankings with 42 executions, 11 less than in 2006, Amnesty said.
Big difference? We don’t execute children (although there are some who SHOULD get the death penalty), or gays.

Secret Service questions Lufkin woman over alleged Obama threat
A Lufkin woman received a surprise visit from the Secret Service last week because of a “death threat” comment she reportedly made about Sen. Barack Obama to a campaign volunteer asking for her support of the presidential candidate.
Two federal agents arrived at Jessica Hughes’ home Thursday to ask her if she said, “I will never support Obama and he will wind up dead on a hospital floor.”
Hughes said her words were deliberately twisted by a volunteer who was apparently unhappy Hughes was rude during a phone conversation. The Lufkin mother, a Republican, said she received a call on her cellphone Wednesday from a woman with the Obama Volunteers of Texarkana.
“She asked if I was an Obama supporter, to which I replied, ‘No, I don’t support him. Your guy is a socialist who voted four times in the state Senate to let little babies die in hospital closets; I think you should find something better to do with your time.’ (And then) I hung up.”
Now, where in that statement does it say ANYTHING about Bubba Hussein dying on the ‘floor’???? Gee, ya think maybe that BO drooler was….GASP…..LYING?
In light of this recent story, nothing is surprising me anymore. With the extreme voter fraud from the left, why should anyone be surprised that BO supporters would LIE? (Psst….ACORN is NOT non partisan!)
