Rep. Dan Burton, Indiana Republican, and Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, California Republican, yesterday renewed a call for charges to be dropped against three Navy SEALs charged with the unspeakable crime of roughing up a terrorist.
The charges grew from circumstances surrounding the capture of Ahmed Hashim Abed, a terrorist mastermind who organized the killing, burning and mutilating of four American contractors in Fallujah, Iraq, in March 2004. Insurgents strung up the blackened remains on a box-girder bridge over the Euphrates River, a grisly event that made global headlines. Abed was brought in by the SEALs in September 2009.
Abed told Iraqi authorities that Special Operations Petty Officer 2nd Class Matthew McCabe punched him in the gut. That sailor is charged with unlawfully striking Abed “in the midsection with his fist” and with lying to a Naval Criminal Investigative Service officer about the incident. Petty Officers Julio Huertas and Jonathan Keefe are charged with impeding the investigation and dereliction of duty in failing to safeguard a detainee. Trials for these two sailors are set to begin in Iraq in April, and Petty Officer 2nd Class McCabe will be tried in Norfolk in May.
The piece of crap is a terrorist. He murders. No evidence to support his claims of being ‘roughed up’. Yet some government official has that balls to CHARGE the heroes that brought him in?

Iran Shuts Down Gmail, Announces National E-Mail Service
Iran’s telecommunications agency announced Wednesday that it has permanently suspended Google’s e-mail services and that a national e-mail service for Iranians will be rolled out soon.
It is not clear what effect the order has had on gmail in Iran. Google says in a statement, “We have heard from users in Iran that they are having trouble accessing Gmail. We can confirm a sharp drop in traffic, and we have looked at our own networks and found that they are working properly. Whenever we encounter blocks in our services we try to resolve them as quickly as possibly because we strongly believe that people everywhere should have the ability to communicate freely online. Sadly, sometimes it is not within our control.”
Isolation is the best way to turn your citizens into your subjects. Although, in Iran’s case, they did a pretty good job starting back in 1979. However, over the years, the reign has been loosened a smidge. Sadly, for the Iranians, they got a taste of freedom, and decided they wanted more. When they went to the polls to vote, they saw exactly how much under the thumb of tyranny they really were, and took matters into their own hands. The slaughter of innocents ensued, in the streets, and through the so called Iranian ‘justice’ system.
State controlled email? Great way to monitor what your people are saying. Want to limit their news from the outside world? Remove the satellite dishes. Who are you talking to? Search, or take, cell phones. And for goodness sake, do NOT wear the color green!

NY man accused of beheading claims he was battered
The founder of an Islam-oriented television station who is accused of beheading his wife was abused by her for years, according to his lawyer, who said Friday he will pursue a defense combining that justification as well as psychiatric claims.
While I find this extremely difficult to believe, I suppose it’s possible that a devout Muslim would take “years” of verbal abuse. Highly unlikely, but possible. That’s why there is this little thing called divorce. Even Muslims allow for such situations in their law.
“He chopped her head off,” Sedita said. “He chopped her head off. That’s all I have to say about Mr. Hassan’s apparent defense that he was a battered spouse.”
A whole lot more dramatic than just hiring a lawyer and ending the marriage, don’t you think?
Hassan, 45, is charged with one count of second-degree murder in the Feb. 12 death of 37-year-old Aasiya Hassan at the offices of Bridges TV, the station the Pakistan-born couple established in 2004 to counter negative stereotypes of Muslims.
First question: Why is this piece of excrement charged with only 2nd degree murder? Why was he not charged with first degree? Seems cutting a person’s head off is about as premeditated as you can get! Second question: Gee, do ya think his little radio station succeeded in dispelling the “negative stereotypes of Muslims”?
“The spouse was the dominant figure in this relationship,” attorney Frank Bogulski said outside the courtroom. “He was the victim. She was verbally abusive. She had humiliated him.”
Any rational person would walk away from such a situation, but then, we aren’t talking about a rational culture here, are we.
Hassan was served with divorce papers a week before his wife’s decapitated body was found at the offices of their television station in Orchard Park, the Buffalo suburb where the couple also lived with their two small children and Muzzammil’s two teenagers from a previous marriage.
Perhaps that’s the ‘abuse’ the lawyer is referring to? Divorce papers? Heaven forbid a woman should decide she has had enough of the subservient role in a relationship. I am of the mind that so many of the so called “honor killings” are nothing more than a male’s proof of his short comings as a man. Not in the sexual sense, mind you. There is much more to being a man the bedroom prowess. These murderous slime must have a great many insecurities, no sense of self worth, and missing a soul.

Pak NA passes bill against sexual harassment of women at workplace
Islamabad, Jan.21 (ANI): The Pakistan National Assembly has passed a bill to amend the existing law against sexual harassment of women at workplace.
The new amendment bill, which was moved in the Lower House by Law Minister Babar Awan, seeks to insert a new offence in the Pakistan Penal Code to provide for punishment over sexual harassment at workplaces.
The amendment, which has now been sent to the Upper House for approval, also seeks to make the offence punishable with imprisonment extending upto three years or a fine of up to 500,000 rupees, or both.
The amendment was supported by all political parties in the house apart from religious parties, The Daily Times reported.
JUI Senators Mohammad Khan Shirani, Ghafoor Haideri, Gul Naseeb Khan along with members of the Jamaat-e Islam (JI) objected to the bill, saying that it was a violation of the fundamental norms of Islam and the constitution.
They said that such a law would promote “vulgarity among women”, and proposed sending the bill to the Council of Islamic Ideology for further review. (ANI)
So, let me get this straight….some hardcore Muslims are objecting to treating women as real people because it’s a ‘violation of the fundamental norms of Islam’ to harass them? They are supposed to be treated as sluts, harassed at every turn because Islam says so? And the Pak constitution? Well, what does that say about Islam? Seems to me it speaks volumes, so where are the feminazis on this one, hmmmm??? Oh, that’s right, they don’t really give a flying flip about women at all, especially those extremely oppressed women in Muslim countries.

Christmas Day Terror Suspect Pleads Not Guilty
A Nigerian man pleaded not guilty Friday to charges that he tried to blow up a packed U.S. Detroit-bound airliner on Christmas Day.
Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab said little during a federal court hearing that lasted less than five minutes. The 23-year-old, who wore a white T-shirt, tennis shoes and light olive pants, said “yes” in English when asked if understood the charges against him.
Authorities say Abdulmutallab was traveling from Amsterdam when he tried to destroy the Northwest Airlines plane carrying nearly 300 people by injecting chemicals into a package of explosives concealed in his underwear. The failed attack caused popping sounds and flames that passengers and crew rushed to extinguish.
A grand jury indicted Abdulmutallab on six charges earlier this week. The most severe carries up to life in prison — the attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction.
When I heard about this earlier, I was so angry, I was close to spitting nails. “Not guilty”??? Really??? Sorry, I don’t think this piece of al-Qaeda crap should be breathing, much less pleading to ANYTHING. This wasn’t an attempted robbery of the corner C-store, this was a freakin’ ACT OF TERROR! When are those morons in Washington going to get the BIG picture and stop sucking up to the trash? Why isn’t he charged with that? Why isn’t this scum sitting his sorry ass in hell with the rest of his jihadis brothers? Or at least Gitmo! As for that ‘not guilty’?

A war with Iran is “a given.” It is as some say: “a “fait accompli.” Just exactly who the combatant nations will be remains to be seen, however. My crystal ball is a bit cloudy in that area of prophecy.
We are fairly sure Israel will be one of the combatants and even though the US protests that it does not want a fight with Iran, I don’t see how it can be avoided. Even if the current US Presidential Administration will not assist Israel in a war with Iran the Obama Regime WILL assist Saudi Arabia!
We never seem to learn, here in the “good ole USA.” We still insist on getting more people killed on both sides of a conflict than is necessary to settle the dispute. That is especially true when we have the misfortune to have a liberal/socialist/communist/progressive in the White House and those with the same political philosophy control the national legislature.

This past weekend the American public learned that not only was the Obama administration briefed about the bombing technique attempted on Flight 253, not only did the United States have information that a Nigerian was being prepared for a terrorist attack by al Qaeda in Yemen, but our government also knew that an “Umar Farouk” was involved.
Following these revelations, the Obama administration again took to the Sunday shows to defend their national security record. Last week Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano tried to convince Americans that “the system worked”. She failed. This Sunday, Deputy National Security Adviser for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism John Brennan did admit that the system failed on Christmas Day but still insisted: “Every other day the system has worked this year….The system is working.”

An airline passenger in Miami proclaimed “I want to kill all the Jews” before police forced him off a Detroit-bound plane, authorities said Thursday.

Mansor Mohammad Asad, 43, of Ohio, was arrested Wednesday night, according to a police department statement. Asad was charged with threats against a public servant, disorderly conduct and resisting an officer without violence.
Sounds like he threatened more than just a ‘public servant’.
FBI spokeswoman Judy Orihuela said there were no indications the disturbance was related to terrorism. The bureau was initially brought in to look into the incident but is no longer involved in the investigation. She said the FBI is treating the disruption as a matter for local authorities.
Well, yes, treat threats against an entire people as a local crime. If a Jew had stood up and shouted, “I want to kill all the Muslims”, that would be a whole ‘nuther ball of wax, wouldn’t it.
The disturbance forced a taxiing Northwest Airlines flight to turn around at Miami International Airport, according to a news release. Witnesses told investigators who boarded the plane that Asad was loud, disruptive and claimed to be Palestinian.

Officers didn’t find any weapons or explosives on Asad, who was reportedly agitated and aggressive at times, according to an arrest affidavit. Authorities used a stun gun to subdue Asad on the jet bridge after he charged at an officer with fists clenched. He also chanted in a foreign language and threatened officers during a search.
Gee. Wonder what that ‘foreign language’ could have been? Hmmm….
“I’m not afraid of you cops, I’ve gotten in fights with cops in Ohio and broke their arms in three places,” he said, according to the affidavit. “I’ve broken skulls too!”
The affidavit noted that alcohol didn’t appear to be a factor during the incident.
Some folks don’t need alcohol to make them nuts! It’s bred into them and it just comes naturally.
The Transportation Security Administration says three of Asad’s companions were also taken off the plane and questioned. The plane departed after a search.
Were they let back on the plane? Or did they have to find another means of transportation to Detroit? Seems to me that the fruitcakes don’t need to blow up planes anymore. They can just cause a ruckus, get charged with some piddly thing, and disrupt the U.S. transportation system quite well. How many planes were delayed? I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if these sorts of “incidents” started happening on a regular basis.

After the Christmas Day attack by the crotch bomber, I started wondering what nonsense would be implemented by the TSA this time. Heaven forbid anyone should actually point out the obvious….you know….the evidence that it’s MUSLIMS that are the danger, not the toddler with the Play-Doh, or the blogger that travels for a living, or even Michael Yon. Michael Yon? Seriously???? Yeah, looks like he was arrested for refusing to divulge his income.
How about finally getting down to brass tacs? I don’t care if CAIR thinks profiling is discriminatory. I don’t give a flying flip if the Nigerians get their Maxi Pads in a knot! When it comes to the safety of my fellow Americans, they can ALL bite my large U.S. hinder!
If you’ve been around for a bit, you’ll know that the Mr and I took a trip to Israel in the fall of 2008. Well, guess what! I got ‘profiled’! Not because of my gender, or my appearance, but because of my first name. Was I offended? Oh hell no! (Day 6: Once again, my first name gave the customs folks pause, so once again, I had to explain to her that my Christian grandparents immigrated from Lebanon after their village was attacked and pretty much wiped out. By MUSLIMS) As a matter of fact, I was kind of grateful that the Israelis took the security of their country so seriously. As anyone knows, I am a very STRONG supporter of Israel, and for the time we were there, I felt more safe than I do on the streets of Memphis, Milwaukee, or Dallas.
So, my suggestion to the powers that be…..REALITY SNAP! Shoebox is not a threat! Michael Yon is not a threat! Little Josh is not a threat! Even this short, fat, little ol’ broad is not a threat. PROFILE! Anyone with the name of Mohamed, Muhammed, or any variety of spelling, with al- as part of their name, or one of those names you KNOW are likely to be attached to a Muslim should be double, triple, and even quadruple checked! And then checked again. Oh, and that guy carrying nothing more than a Quran and prayer beads? Don’t even let him on the plane!

British Prime Minister ‘Appalled’ by Protest Plan
A radical Islamic group planning a protest march through the streets of a town that has achieved iconic status in Britain for honoring the passing hearses of British soldiers killed in Afghanistan ran into a stiff rebuff from the British government on Monday.
Prime Minister Gordon Brown issued a statement saying he was “personally appalled” by the group’s plan to march through the streets of Wootton Bassett, 70 miles west of London, where townspeople have lined the sidewalks since April 2007 to mourn the passing cortèges of British military casualties flown home to the nearby military airbase at Lyneham.
“Wootton Bassett has a special significance for us all at this time, as it has been the scene of the repatriation of many members of our armed forces who have tragically fallen,” Mr. Brown said. “Any attempt to use this location to cause further distress and suffering to those who have lost loved ones would be abhorrent and offensive.”
Perhaps if the British weren’t so ‘tolerant’ of those who hate freedom, these kinds of things wouldn’t be happening. Alas, when you oppress your own citizens in favor of the radical hate mongers, this is what you get.
A statement on the organization’s Web site said the march would be held “not in memory of the occupying and merciless British military, but rather the real war dead who have been shunned by the Western media and general public as they were and continue to be horrifically murdered in the name of democracy and freedom, the innocent Muslim men, women and children.”
So, instead of being grateful there are many who are willing to lay down their lives to save millions of innocents being slaughtered by their own countrymen, these pigs, instead, would insult the families of those who have lost their lives protecting others. I have a real good solution to the whole problem. Send every single radical back to the country of their origin, pull out ALL UK and US soldiers, then sent a few well placed nukes to visit. Large fields of glass, and the problem is solved!
Mr. Choudary, a 42-year-old lawyer and the British-born son of a Pakistani immigrant, did not say when the march would take place, but in his letter to the families of the dead soldiers, he spelled out his reasons for proposing it.
“It is worth reminding those who are still not blinded by the media propaganda that Afghanistan is not a British town near Wootton Bassett but rather Muslim land which no one has the right to occupy, with a Muslim population who do not deserve their innocent men, women and children to be killed for political mileage and for the greedy interests of the oppressive U.S. and U.K. regimes,” he said.
Yeah, real greedy. Here’s a thought Mr Choudary….how ’bout YOU go and help your Muslim brothers and sisters repel the evil that is taking over “Muslim land”, eh? Instead of condemning the true heroes, try putting YOUR ass on the line! And tell me, just what does Afghanistan have that would of ANY interest to either the UK or the US? Not a damn thing! And as for the ‘occupying’, just why are so many Muslims leaving their homes? Is it to OCCUPY Western countries and take over, impose 7th century lifestyles? Hmmm….???

Somali Man Charged With Attempted Murder for Attack on Cartoonist
A Somali man was charged with two counts of attempted murder on Saturday for an attack on a Danish artist whose 2005 cartoon of the Prophet Muhammad ignited riots and outrage across the Muslim world, authorities said.
The 28-year-old Somali man with ties to Al Qaeda broke into Kurt Westergaard’s home in Aarhus on Friday night armed with an ax and a knife, said Jakob Scharf, head of Denmark’s PET intelligence agency.
The 75-year-old artist, who has been targeted with several death threats since depicting the Prophet Muhammad with a bomb-shaped turban, pressed an alarm and fled with his 5-year-old granddaughter to a specially made safe room.

Kerry Reportedly Files Request to Visit Iran
Sen. John Kerry has filed a formal request to visit Iran, Iranian news agencies reported Tuesday — news made public in the middle of the government’s bloody crackdown on dissidents that has left more than a dozen dead.
While representatives for Kerry have so far not confirmed whether he intends to travel to Tehran, a spokesman for Iran’s foreign ministry said the country’s parliament is already considering the Massachusetts Democrat’s official overture.
The trip would come at a challenging time for the administration, as President Obama on Monday expressed support for Iranian protestors and condemned the government’s “iron fist of brutality.”
The Islamonazis are waging war on their own people who, in my understanding, just want to be free, and this idiot wants to go have a chat with the very ones are murdering innocents? What is it with this people? Don’t they understand the reality of the real world at all? Are they so wrapped up in their ivory towers, they aren’t aware of what has actually been happening around the globe?
The White House appeared comfortable with the visit when it was floated last week, provided Kerry goes in his capacity as chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
“This is the kind of trip that is appropriate for the chair of Senate Foreign Relations Committee,” a senior administration official told Fox News. “This is a Kerry initiative and not at the behest of the White House.”
The only kind of trip that is appropriate with these types of monsters is a few well placed bullets from a snipers rifle. I find it REAL hard to believe that Kerry came up with the idea all on his lonesome, unless of course, this is just another suck up for the Obama administration. Hmmm…. If all goes wrong, which likely it will, the White House will be able to claim they didn’t really approve.
