SPLC – Supidity At It’s Finest
Patriots Are Radical, Racist, Hate-Filled Terror Suspects
On the heels of the National Defense Authorization Act’s indefinite detention provision and Attorney General Eric Holder’s unfortunate “the U.S. government has the right to kill you” speech and while the word “terrorist” is used ever more loosely, left-wing activists groups are ramping up their campaigns against those who believe in smaller government.
The Southern Poverty Law Center (also known more accurately as the Southern Preposterous Lie Center here at Personal Liberty Digest™), long known and called out for its shameless exploitation of race for profit, has released its latest report profiling hate in America: “The ‘Patriot’ Movement Explodes.” The word “patriot” as defined over the course of about 3,000 words by the author, however, varies a bit from Webster’s definition and the likely definition of most people who feel patriotic: “One who loves and loyally or zealously supports one’s own country.”
If there is any hate filled, racist organization, that would be SPLC! But yet, according to their definition, I’m a terrorist, and likely, so are you!
Following the alarmist introduction, the author tells his readers that the so-called “Patriot movement” is again on the uptick, growing from 149 groups in 2008 to 512 in 2009, and again in 2010 to 824, and then, last year, jumping to 1,274. The title of the report and the groups contained under the author’s definition of “patriot” likely alarm the everyday conservative who may spend time on weekends organizing for like-minded political candidates, lecturing friends about the value of our Founders’ vision laid forth in the Constitution of the United States, decrying the continual expansion of an ever-stifling Federal bureaucracy or waving signs on the local courthouse steps with Tea Party peers.
Granted, there are some groups, on the very FAR right, and the very FAR left, that are likely not all that concerned with the Constitution, or the rule of law. The very FAR right most likely want to be separate from the rest of the country that may see us regular ol’ patriots as too far left. Go figure. Then, on the very FAR left, we see the anarchists who are attacking the police and destroying property, masquerading as “Occupiers”.
Following are some of the subgroups into which the alarmists at SPLC divide patriots:
- Anti-Gay: Patriotic Americans as defined by SPLC can be members of one of 27 militantly anti-gay groups that are involved in “efforts to ban or repeal marriage equality and what seemed to be an intensification of anti-gay propaganda in certain quarters.”
- Anti-Muslim: The author contends that people who consider themselves to be American patriots may be involved in one of the 30 groups that exist throughout the Nation that vilify and commit hate crimes against Muslims.
- Black Separatists: Black Americans who consider themselves patriots, have an unfavorable view of President Barack Obama or who believe the Constitution is an important document are likely members of the small portion of African-Americans belonging to the greater sovereign citizens movement, according to SPLC.
- Christian Identity: Patriots who are also Christians may believe that Jewish people are direct descendants of Satan and people of color are “soulless mud people” in SPLC’s view.
- Ku Klux Klan: The SPLC believes that the growing Patriot movement also coincides with a growing number of Ku Klux Klan members in the country.
- Neo-Confederates: Centered on the Alabama League of the South, a group founded in 1994 with the alleged goal to organize a second Southern secession, there are 32 neo-Confederate organizations that SPLC says American patriots may belong to.
- Racist Skinhead Groups: SPLC believes that American patriots could belong to any number of racist skinhead organizations — groups that have been defined over the past several decades as being fond of punk rock, anarchy and racism.
- White Nationalist Groups: In SPLC’s view, patriotic Americans may be white nationalists, similar to those who protested school integration and racial equality during the Civil Rights era.
Well, I’m not sure about any rabid ‘anti-gay’ groups, but I do know that there are some of us out here who do take God as his word. You know, that whole man and woman becoming one, and the abomination issue. Most of us don’t hate homosexuals. Hate is for those who want to expend the energy, and wear themselves out by using destructive actions. I don’t know anyone who does that. I do know many who love the ‘sinner’, and would like to help in any way possible to get back on the path that God intended. But hate? Nope. No hate.
Anti-muslim? Well, yes and no. When there are people who want to destroy our Republic form of government, and replace it with a theocracy based on one of the most hate fill ‘religious cults’ I’ve ever seen, then…yeah….you could call me anti-muslim. Not to mention that little fact….we either submit, or we die. I have a BIG problem with that ideology. I would also mention, this is the bunch who murders their children for the sake of ‘honor’, hangs homosexuals, stones women for being raped, and an amazing array of other tidbits that, evidently, the SPLC hasn’t bothered to notice. As for ‘hate crimes’ against muslims? Seriously? Compare the ‘hate crimes’ (2009) against Jews (71.9%) vs ‘hate crime’ against muslims (8.4%), and tell me again just who is being targeted because of their religion? From the statistics for subsequent years, the numbers have risen significantly….but not against muslims.
I think I know a few ‘black-separatists’. They would be the Americans with dark skin, and no hyphens, who are none to fond of Barack Hussein Obama and his socialist policies. Now, I’m fairly sure those ‘black-separatists’ that I know don’t have anything to do with the ‘sovereign citizens movement’. In case you aren’t familiar with this ‘movement’, Wikipedia describes it:
The sovereign citizen movement is a loose network of American litigants, commentators, and financial scheme promoters, classified as an “extremist anti-government group” by the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Self-described sovereign citizens take the position that they are answerable only to common law and are not subject to any statutes or proceedings at the federal, state or municipal levels, or that they do not recognize U.S. currency and that they are “free of any legal constraints”.
They especially reject most forms of taxation as illegitimate. Participants in the movement argue this concept in opposition to “federal citizens”, who, they say, have unknowingly forfeited their rights by accepting some aspect of federal law.
I’ve seen a couple of folks who described themselves as such on the news out of Memphis a time or two. Honestly, I think those who were interviewed were in serious need of some psychiatric help, but that’s just my opinion, and only covers those I personally saw on the news. If the entire movement is different that what I saw, then, well…. not sure how to describe them. The father and son team, Jerry and Joseph Kane, who murdered police officers after a routine traffic stop, claimed to be ‘sovereign citizens’, unanswerable to any law. Well, I don’t know anyone like that, especially anyone I ever met through the Tea Party, Oath Keepers, or any other political organization or rally. Most of the folks I know believe in the laws, unlike many of those in Congress and filling White House positions. Folks I know believe the law of the land applies to EVERYONE, including elected officials, and those appointed to official posts.
Christian Identity…..sy whut? Well, no TRUE Christian believes what is posted above from that report. No….. TRUE Christians know that Israel is God’s Chosen People. “Patriots who are also Christians may believe that Jewish people are direct descendants of Satan and people of color are “soulless mud people” in SPLC’s view.” That’s about the most ridiculous thing I’ve read in quite a while! Obviously, the SPLC doesn’t know any TRUE Christians. 
Now, as for the KKK, the Neo-Confederates, skinheads, and white nationalist groups….don’t think I’ve ever come across any who are members of those groups. I do know there are some in the South that are fed up with the east coast liberals who have been eroding the liberties of ALL Americans, and it’s possible that some wouldn’t mind cutting us off from the BIG gubmint types that tend to come from the north east, and the left coast. Seriously, I wouldn’t mind it myself. But as a whole, we’d actually like to return to the days when we were the UNITED States of America, instead of what we are now….the DIVIDED states. 
I remember the KKK from my youth, growing up in the South. Evil people….Democrats. Now, if you want to talk about home grown terrorists, take a real hard look at the history of the Klu Klux Klan, and exactly WHO they were/are…the terrorist wing of the Democrat Party!
“Founded in 1866 as a Tennessee social club, the Ku Klux Klan spread into nearly every Southern state, launching a ‘reign of terror‘ against Republican leaders black and white.” Page 184 of his book contains the definitive statements: “In effect, the Klan was a military force serving the interests of the Democratic party, the planter class, and all those who desired the restoration of white supremacy. It aimed to destroy the Republican party’s infrastructure, undermine the Reconstruction state, reestablish control of the black labor force, and restore racial subordination in every aspect of Southern life.”
Honestly, I think those yahoos just pull crap out of their asses and parade it as truth. We know bullsh*t when we see it, and this is a large pile!

Rick Warren builds bridge to Muslims
The Rev. Rick Warren, pastor of Saddleback Church in Lake Forest and one of America’s most influential Christian leaders, has embarked on an effort to heal divisions between evangelical Christians and Muslims by partnering with Southern California mosques and proposing a set of theological principles that includes acknowledging that Christians and Muslims worship the same God.
I have always had a major problem with those mega churches. No offense, but sometimes it seems like the REAL message gets lost because of those who want to appease each member to the point that no one learns the TRUTH.
The effort, informally dubbed King’s Way, caps years of outreach between Warren and Muslims. Warren has broken Ramadan fasts at a Mission Viejo mosque, met Muslim leaders abroad and addressed 8,000 Muslims at a national convention in Washington D.C.
Does Warren not understand that these muslims he wants to be buddies with would just as soon kill him as an ‘unbeliever’ as look at him?
Saddleback worshippers have invited Muslims to Christmas dinner and played interfaith soccer at a picnic in Irvine attended by more than 300 people. (The game pitted pastors and imams against teens from both faiths. The teens won.)
The effort by a prominent Christian leader to bridge what polls show is a deep rift between Muslims and evangelical Christians culminated in December at a dinner at Saddleback attended by 300 Muslims and members of Saddleback’s congregation.
That’s real nice and all, but ya know, it’s a muslims obligation to lie to ‘infidels’. I’m thinking that perhaps Warren hasn’t actually read that so called holy book.
At the dinner, Abraham Meulenberg, a Saddleback pastor in charge of interfaith outreach, and Jihad Turk, director of religious affairs at a mosque in Los Angeles, introduced King’s Way as “a path to end the 1,400 years of misunderstanding between Muslims and Christians.”
There’s no misunderstanding. We understand real well!

Does Warren seriously believe there is anything, other than converting to islam, that would make a bit of difference to these….people?
The men presented a document they co-authored outlining points of agreement between Islam and Christianity. The document affirms that Christians and Muslims believe in “one God” and share two central commandments: “love of God” and “love of neighbor.” The document also commits both faiths to three goals: Making friends with one another, building peace and working on shared social service projects. The document quotes side-by-side verses from the Bible and the Koran to illustrate its claims.
No, allah is NOT God. Not even close! I haven’t seen anywhere in the Bible, Old or New Testament, or the Tanakh, that instructs us to lie, cheat, steal or murder. Yet I have seen many examples of such in the Qur’an. I’m not sure what Bible Rick Warren uses to preach the message, but it sure isn’t the one I’ve read. Or does he even use it during his sermons?
I’ve yet to see where it’s ok to beat or even kill your family members. Jesus didn’t cover that in His “Sermon on the Mount”. (Matthew 5-7:27) Or any of His teachings, for that matter!

2 US troops killed in Afghanistan following Koran burning
Two American soldiers were killed Thursday in a shooting by an Afghan soldier and a literacy teacher at a joint base in southern Afghanistan, officials said, the latest in a series of deaths as anti-Americanism rises following the burning of Korans by U.S. soldiers.
Both were killed on the same day that the top NATO commander allowed a small number of foreign advisers to return to work at Afghan ministries after more than a week of being locked down in secure locations because of the killing of two other Americans.
Thursday’s killings raised to six the number of Americans killed in less than two weeks amid heightened tensions over the Feb. 20 burning of Korans and other Islamic texts that had been dumped in a garbage pit at Bagram Air Field near Kabul. More than 30 Afghans also were killed in six days of violent riots that broke out after the incident.
Wait a minute. I thought D’Bama said his apology got everything calmed down. So, I’m guessing the 6 dead Americans isn’t true? I’m sure their families will be quite happy to know that Barack Hussein Obama is in charge, and all is well, including their dead loved ones.
It’s time to get out! Let them kill each other, I don’t care! I’m tired of that candy ass in Washington apologizing and putting OUR military in even MORE danger! Seriously doood….

NATO: West to focus on Afghan stability after Koran burning
NATO must remain focused on fostering stability in Afghanistan despite the protests and violence that have gripped the country following the burning of copies of the Koran on a NATO military base, the alliance’s head said on Tuesday.
Am I the only one who finds this mildly amusing, in a demented sort of way?
“Despite the tragedy of this incident and the challenges we face, we must not lose sight of our goal, a stable Afghanistan. That is in all of our interest; that must remain the focus of our shared effort,” NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said during an alliance seminar in Washington.
The tragedy here is the ridiculous reaction of the the non leadership of the Pretender in Chief, and his minions. What shared effort? I can bet ya dollars to donuts that ‘stability’ in Afghanistan is a pipe dream. The best thing anyone could do, in the BEST interest of the rest of the world, and as a very strong message, is to bomb them back into their caves. I mean seriously, it’s a third world country, with a third world mind set, based in the 7th century.
The strategy of the United States and its NATO partners has been questioned in recent days, after the burning of copies of the Muslim holy book triggered widespread protests and two US officers were killed in an attack that took place within the Afghan Interior Ministry.
Well, I have been questioning their ‘strategy’ for quite a while m’self. I mean, after all, isn’t the purpose of a war is to actually…oh….I dunno…..WIN? Seems to me, the panty wastes have turned the finest military machine in the world into a bunch of babysitters for the most murderous thugs who use any excuse to beat up the other kids on the playground. In case those in Washington, and at NATO, aren’t aware….the purpose is to utterly DESTROY the enemy. Once they are completely vanquished, then you can play nice. Until then, you kill ‘em all, and let ‘allah’ sort ‘em out!

I want to extend my sincere condolences to the families of the Army Colonel and Major who were killed by Afghanistan security forces over this “burning Koran” episode.
If we had resolute leadership in the White House, we would have explained that these Islamic terrorist enemy combatants detained at the Parwan facility used the Koran to write jihadist messages to pass to others.
In doing so, they violated their own cultural practice and defiled the Koran and turned the Koran into contraband.
The Islamic cultural practice and Parwan detention facility procedures support burning the “contraband.”
Instead here we go again, offering apology after apology and promising to “hold those responsible accountable.” Responsible for what?
When tolerance becomes a one-way street it leads to cultural suicide.
This time it immediately led to the deaths of two American Warriors.
America is awaiting the apology from President Hamid Karzai.

Offended Muslim chokes atheist, and then …
According to reports, the atheists were marching when Talaag Elbayomy, a Muslim, stormed out of the crowd and assaulted Perce, grabbing a sign around his neck and pulling until the strings choked him.
The men caught the attention of a nearby police officer.
Mechanicsburg Police Officer Bryan Curtis told Pennsylvania’s WHTM-TV, “Mr. Perce has the right to do what he did that evening, and the defendant in this case was wrong in what he did in confronting him.”
He added, “I believe that I brought a case that showed proof beyond a reasonable doubt, and the case was dismissed, and I was disappointed.”
Elbayomy – who said he believed it was illegal to mock Muhammad – was charged with harassment. He denied touching Perce at trial, but Officer Curtis said Elbayomy admitted grabbing Perce’s sign and beard the night of the incident.
The officer saw the incident. It’s on video. Open and shut, right? I mean, if something offends me, I don’t get to physically attack the person doing the offending. That’s not how we roll in this country. We have laws to protect even the stupid and offensive. However….
The following is an excerpt of the Muslim judge’s lecture in which he scolded Perce for offending Islam:

Here in our society, we have a Constitution that gives us many rights, specifically First Amendment rights. It’s unfortunate that some people use the First Amendment to deliberately provoke others. I don’t think that’s what our forefathers intended. I think our forefathers intended to use the First Amendment so we can speak with our mind, not to p— off other people and cultures – which is what you did.
I don’t think you’re aware, Sir, there’s a big difference between how Americans practice Christianity – I understand you’re an atheist – but see Islam is not just a religion. It’s their culture, their culture, their very essence, their very being. They pray five times a day toward Mecca. To be a good Muslim before you die, you have to make a pilgrimage to Mecca, unless you’re otherwise told you cannot because you’re too ill, too elderly, whatever, but you must make the attempt. Their greeting is ‘Salam alaikum, wa-laikum as-Salam,’ uh, ‘May God be with you.’
Whenever it is very common, their language, when they’re speaking to each other, it’s very common for them to say, uh, Allah willing, this will happen. It’s, they’re so immersed in it. And what you’ve done is, you’ve completely trashed their essence, their being. They find it very, very, very offensive. I’m a Muslim. I find it offensive. But you have that right, but you are way outside your bounds of First Amendment rights. …
I’ve spent about seven years living in other countries. When we go to other countries, it’s not uncommon for people to refer to us as ‘ugly Americans.’ This is why we hear it referred to as ‘ugly Americans,’ because we’re so concerned about our own rights, we don’t care about other people’s rights. As long as we get our say, but we don’t care about the other people’s say.
The judge later added, “Because there was not, it is not proven to me beyond a reasonable doubt that this defendant is guilty of harassment, therefore, I am going to dismiss the charge.”
Excuse me? Dismiss the charge? The only person who should be dismissed is that judge! Talk about travesty! That was no justice in that courtroom at all! So now, any muslim sob can assault an atheist, or anyone else for that matter, because he or she is offended? I am offended this moron is sitting on the bench! He’s a muslim. He should have recused himself. But since he didn’t, he should have followed the laws of the land, which says you don’t get to assault anyone just because they do or say something that ‘offends’ you.
Excuse me….”judge”….but OUR founding fathers were George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Ben Franklin, and a whole bunch of patriots that fought and died for our freedom. Barack Obama apology to Afghanistan over Koran burning
Demonstrations against the desecration have continued for a third day across northern and eastern Afghanistan.
Two US soldiers and two Afghans were killed in an attack on a military base. Elsewhere there were four other deaths.
On Wednesday, another seven people were killed and dozens injured in protests.
Mr Obama’s letter, delivered by the US ambassador to Afghanistan, assured the Afghan president that US authorities would question all those responsible.
“I convey my deep sympathies and ask you and the people to accept my deep apologies,” the letter said.
“The error was inadvertent; I assure you that we will take the appropriate steps to avoid any recurrence, to include holding accountable those responsible,” it continued.
President Karzai told members of the Afghan parliament that a US officer was responsible for the burning.
But he said it was done out of “ignorance”.
“Deep apologies“? F U and the horse you rode in on, you low life, scum sucking, son of a bitch!
The only ignorance I see is a U.S. president apologizing to a bunch of 7th century followers of a murderous pedophile! When is Obama going to apologize to the American people for turning our country into a bunch of whining wimps? When will he apologize to our brave men and women for putting them in more danger by his BS?? Where is the outrage and apologies to the Christian communities, world wide, for lack of action to protect the innocent?
As far as I’m concerned, the military can burn every damn one of those hate promoting books, and the county itself along with ‘em! Let ‘em riot and kill each other! I stopped giving a damn a LONG time ago! Obama might as well have apologized to Satan. Same damn thing!
Will The U.S. Government Aid and Abet Terrorists?
Syria shelling of Homs kills 2 Western journalists
A French photojournalist and an American working for a British newspaper were killed Wednesday by Syrian government shelling of the opposition stronghold of Homs, France’s government said.
Activists said at least two other Western journalists were injured in barrages that claimed at least 19 lives.
We all know that Assad, Nancy Pelosi’s buddy, is a dictator, and should be removed. Actually, any and ALL dick-taters should be removed. But here’s a real important question: What will fill that void left by the removal of said bad guy? Cuz “nature abhors a vacuum“.
In Paris, French government spokeswoman Valerie Pecresse said those killed were French photojournalist Remi Ochlik and American veteran war reporter Marie Colvin, who was working for Britain’s Sunday Times. France’s Foreign Minister, Alain Juppe, said the attacks show the “increasingly intolerable repression” by Syrian forces.
Such beings do not like having their power to control taken away, so they will kill anyone in their way, including journalists, no matter from where they hail. Silencing the truth is the first step of any would be dick-tater.
The Obama administration opened the door slightly Tuesday to international military assistance for Syria’s rebels, with officials saying new tactics may have to be explored if President Bashar Assad continues to defy pressure to halt a brutal crackdown on dissenters that has raged for 11 months and killed thousands.
IF…and that’s a big IF….the ‘rebels’ were actually fighting to overthrow Assad’s regime in the quest for freedom, I could actually see a bit of help going to those who are fighting and dying for liberty.
The White House and State Department said they still hope for a political solution. But faced with the daily onslaught by the Assad regime against Syrian civilians, officials dropped the administration’s previous strident opposition to arming anti-regime forces. It remained unclear, though, what, if any, role the U.S. might play in providing such aid.
But here’s the problem with that idea: “Elements of al-Qaeda’s affiliates in Iraq have been moving into Syria to distribute weapons to the opposition and to carry out attacks against the regime of Bashar al-Assad, according to U.S. and Iraqi officials.” (source) Now, I don’t know about y’all, but I have a HUGE problem with the U.S. gubmint aiding and abetting terrorists. New Fears for Iranian Pastor on Death Row Who Refuses to Renounce His Christian Faith
“As of today, we cannot confirm that Pastor Youcef is alive,” said executive director Jordan Sekulow. “With Iran now dominating international headlines because of its military actions, it’s clear Iran may have decided to move forward by issuing an execution order, knowing that the world’s attention is focused elsewhere right now. We also know that Iran’s top officials can reject the execution order and release Pastor Youcef if they so desire. We will keep the international pressure on Iran to free Pastor Youcef.”

In what it described as “an extremely dangerous turn of events,” the American Center for Law and Justice said Monday it had learned from contacts inside Iran that Youcef Nadarkhani, the Christian pastor on death row for “apostasy,” looks increasingly likely to be executed.
“Pastor Youcef’s case had been stalled due to increased international pressure and the Iranian court’s request that Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, decide Pastor Youcef’s fate,” said ACLJ executive director Jordan Sekulow.
“Now, because Pastor Youcef has continually refused to give into the regime’s demands that he renounce his Christian faith, the likelihood that the Iranian regime will execute him increases by the day.”
Nadarkhani, a married father of two young children, was arrested in October 2009 and has been sentenced to hang for “apostasy.”
His death sentence was upheld by Iran’s Supreme Court last July, but three months later the case – which was making waves internationally – was referred to Khamenei. The supreme leader was expected to make a ruling on whether the pastor, who embraced Christianity at the age of 19, was an apostate under Islamic law (shari’a).

Feds arrest man heading to U.S. Capitol for suicide mission after sting investigation
Authorities have arrested a man on his way to the U.S. Capitol for what he thought would be a suicide attack on one of the nation’s most symbolic landmarks, Fox News has learned exclusively.
The man, in his 30s and of Moroccan descent, was nabbed following a lengthy investigation by the FBI, initiated after he expressed interest in conducting an attack. It’s unclear how the FBI learned of his aspirations.
The man thought undercover FBI agents assisting him in his plot were associates of Al Qaeda.
When he was arrested Friday in Washington, he was carrying with him a vest supposedly packed with explosives, but the material inside was not actually dangerous, Fox News was told.
A short time earlier, he had been praying at a mosque in the Washington area. His destination was Capitol Hill.
The public was never in danger, as he had been under constant surveillance for some time.

I’ve no doubt you’ve heard all about the uproar caused by CAIR concerning the training of the New York Police Department using a little film called “The Third Jihad“. They are even going so far as to demand the resignation of the Police Commissioner. I’d really like to know….who gave this Hamas linked terror group so much power over what we do, or do not do, in the training of police officers? If the jihad fits…….
What you may not have heard about is the training session in Rutherford County, Tennessee. Unfortunately, Tennessee has been the recipient of a large number of muslims, and for our law enforcement officers NOT to be trained in how to counter any terror threat brought by said ‘immigrants’ would be pure negligence! CAIR, of course, has its nose all up in the LEO’s business. Perhaps, if CAIR, and other such muslim groups, weren’t consistently violating OUR 1st Amendment rights, if they would denounce the war on innocents, refrain from destroying our Constitution and trying to replace it with Sharia, we might be inclined to listen. However, instead of acclimating themselves to the country in which they live, the goal is to force the majority into following the minority. If they don’t like it here, they are quite free to return to their place of origin, where they hang homosexuals, stone women for being raped, murder their children for their ‘honor’ and cut off the heads of the heads of anyone who disagrees with them. But please, don’t expect us to fall into line with your teachings of the murderous pedophile and his fake god.

The folks of Murfreesboro, DeKalb County, and from around the state, did their best to prevent a mosque from being built in their community. Evidently, the city powers that be don’t give a flip about the safety of their citizens, and allowed the building to go forward. Now, there are even bigger problems, and naturally, the city powers aren’t addressing the issues. Honestly, I don’t understand how we continue to allow these people to invade our cities and towns. Some will say it’s a 1st Amendment issue. IMHO, since Islam isn’t a religion, but a cult of politics, it isn’t covered under the freedom of religion, not to mention the teachings violate many of our laws, and common sense.

Diplomat: US, Allies Losing Face in Region
Iranian Envoy to Kabul Fada Hossein Maleki underlined the US and its allies’ continued failures in the region, and said they have lost their reputation among the regional states.

The Pakistani media revealed in January that the United States’ Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has removed the name of Afghan Taliban leader Mullah Mohammad Omar from the list of “most wanted terrorists.”
An act of cowardice!
The report came following Washington’s secret meetings with the Taliban after one decade of war. US officials have held several meetings with representatives of the Afghan Taliban leader, headed by Tayyib Agha, in Germany and Qatar over the past months.
During the meetings, the US and Taliban negotiators reached a deal to transfer five Taliban militants, who are under custody in Guantanamo Bay in Cuba, to Qatar. The removal of Mullah Omar’s name from the terror list comes after the prisoner deal.
