This does NOT make me very happy, or confident! She’s dropped.
Honestly, I have no idea why these two still call themselves Republicans, much less TRY to pretend to be conservative. Dudes! It ain’t workin’! We’ve got your number!! And it’s LOW!! Y’all can either snap out of your stupidity, or find another line of work!
The whole state is here, and you can find yours, if in another state, here. You can find the bestest of the whole lot is here, then it goes downhill! Needless to say, all the ZEROES are Ds, but what’s more disappointing is how many R’s that are below 50%. Shoot, there is even a D or two that rank HIGHER than some Rs. *shakes head* We have GOT to fix this problem!!! What is best for the country is not a bunch of self serving yahoos, spending OUR money on crap that does NOTHING to improve the nation, or her citizens!

If the GOP is this stupid, it deserves to die
by Ann Coulter
Democrats terrify Hispanics into thinking they’ll be lynched if they vote for Republicans, and then turn around and taunt Republicans for not winning a majority of the Hispanic vote.
This line of attack has real resonance with our stupidest Republicans. (Proposed Republican primary targets: Sens. Kelly Ayotte, Jeff Flake, Lindsey Graham and Marco Rubio.) Which explains why Republicans are devoting all their energy to slightly increasing their share of the Hispanic vote while alienating everyone else in America.
It must be fun for liberals to manipulate Republicans into focusing on hopeless causes. Why don’t Democrats waste their time trying to win the votes of gun owners?
I’ve highlighted the names of the “gang of eight” so you won’t forget them. If you want to read this bill, also known as JOLT ACT of 2013, you can read the whole text of gobbledy gook here. While there are a few issues that MUST be addressed, and should have been a LONG time ago, the is a lot in this bill that shouldn’t even be considered! At some point, I just might go through the whole 844 pages, and address those, but for now, do your own homework!
IMHO, they should have made issues addressed in the Congressional Findings (Section 2) THE bill, and left the rest for another time, when we are back on our feet, so to speak.
(1) The passage of this Act recognizes that the primary tenets of its success depend on securing the sovereignty of the United States of America and establishing a coherent and just system for integrating those who seek to join American society.
Our ‘sovereignty’ has become a really bad joke. And as for ‘integrating’? Waving the Mexican, or other foreign flags, DEMANDING ‘rights’, is not integrating. Refusing to learn the language of the land is not integrating. Bringing ‘third world’ habits and policies and insisting WE adapt to YOUR way, is not integrating.
(2) We have a right, and duty, to maintain and secure our borders, and to keep our country safe and prosperous. As a nation founded, built and sustained by immigrants we also have a responsibility to harness the power of that tradition in a balanced way that secures a more prosperous future for America.
Well, our borders are NOT secure, and we are NOT safe. The drug cartels have made themselves quite at home in cities like Chicago, a place where murder is so common place, with some of the strictest ‘gun control’ laws…in the world…it has become a poster child for how NOT to run a city, county….country!
These are the two major issues that should have been addressed, and the rest left to other bills, broken down individually, instead of lumping the whole chit works into one bill. Congress has a real bad habit of throwing in crap, and this bill is no different. Address these issues FIRST. Get the border secured, which will take YEARS, and remove the criminal element from out streets. Shoot the sons of beeches if necessary, but get them away from our children. Does it make sense for a legal citizen, or resident, to fear for their lives every time they walk out their front doors? HELL NO! So, why aren’t those in Washington concerned about US? Because it’s all politics!
No self respecting member of the U.S. Senate would EVER introduce such garbage. Then again, we have no self respecting representatives in the government anymore, and they SURE don’t respect us! WE want our borders secured, immediately, but this is not a priority. WE want our streets safe from criminals, and criminals removed, but this also, is not a priority.
What is the priority? Votes. 11 MILLION new voters, the majority of whom will make sure we continue to lose our God given, Constitutionally guaranteed, liberties by assuring that the Democrats>liberals>progressives>socialists>commies will have a strangle hold on power.
This bill, as is, is something this country can’t afford, financially, or morally. I’ve heard so many spewing on the idjit box how “no one is an illegal person’. Well, they are wrong. Being a person isn’t illegal. Breaking into someone else’s home, expecting them to feed, clothe, take you to the doctor, and pay for all your wants and whims IS illegal, is IS a crime. Handing over the keys to the house is just plain ignorant!
“Former House Majority Leader Dick Armey (R-TX) once noted that three groups spend other people’s money: thieves, children, and politicians—and all three need supervision.” Politicians have shown themselves to be both childish, and thieves. It’s way past time for WE, The People to regain control of our country, and OUR money! Any politician that fails to uphold his/her oath of office should be run out on a rail! WE need to put the fear of God back into them, and the fear of us!

American Families Cannot Afford the Cost of Amnesty
Derrick Morgan – The Foundry
Our nation is going broke, and now is not the time to increase burdens on American families.
The Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act (S. 744)—commonly called the “Gang of Eight bill” after the eight Senators who came up with it, Charles Schumer (D-NY), Dick Durbin (D-IL), Robert Menendez (D-NJ), Michael Bennet (D-CO), John McCain (R-AZ), Jeff Flake (R-AZ), Marco Rubio (R-FL), and Lindsey Graham (R-SC)—includes amnesty for some 11 million unlawful immigrants. That amnesty would further burden taxpayers and weaken our fiscal situation. Congress should not rush to pass the bill without understanding the cost to the American taxpayer, especially when key research identifying and calculating those costs is nearly complete.
We have more than $12 trillion in public debt and tens of trillions of dollars more in unfunded obligations that we have no way to afford, thanks to promises made by past and present politicians. With this in mind, today’s political leaders must consider the fiscal impact of amnesty and a path to citizenship that would enable millions of unlawful immigrants to qualify for costly welfare and entitlement programs.
Rep. Don Young’s Inexcusable Racist Slur
No, not mine, although, at this point, it is questionable. Nope, I mean America. Are we near death as a free nation? Not that we’re all that free anymore, and I could go into the “I remember a time…” drone, but I’ll refrain.
Apparently, while I’ve been on death’s door, the Senate actually did something. Not that it was a good thing, but at least it was something! They passed a budget…for the first time in FOUR flippin’ YEARS!
I just love this little tidbit:
Had the budget failed, it would have been a significant setback for the Democrats and raised questions about the party’s ability to govern.
Are they freakin’ kidding me? The Dims don’t have a clue how to govern, they just know how to spend, buy votes from the gimme, entitlement minded ‘class’, enslave, and whine, blaming everyone and anyone for their inability to behave like grown ups. Pfft!
One amendment they tacked onto this so called budget is MORE taxes. Well, there’s a lot of taxes, but one in particular gets my goat. That would be the internet sales tax. For people like me, who live out in the middle of nowhere, internet shopping is a must. Ok, not all is a must, but quite a bit is, and we just don’t have the stores available nearby where I can purchase a few of those NEEDS. I suppose I could drive all the way to Memphis, or Nashville, to go shopping, but where’s the logic in that? Half of what I buy isn’t even offered in the state, so there would be no point! Not to mention the gas, wear and tear on my truck, which contributes to my ‘carbon footprint’. /snark
And who is one of the co-sponsors of that amendment? Why, our very one senior Senator, Lamar Alexander….RINO!
Twenty-six Republicans voted to endorse collecting Internet sales taxes and 19 Republicans voted against it. Democrats backed the proposal, 49-5.
Yeah…so much for those so called Republicans being low tax, small government types. “It’s not fair!” Boo freakin’ hoo! It’s called competition, and that’s what capitalism runs on…not fairness. MORONS!
What does this so called budget do to reduce the deficit? NOT A FLIPPIN’ THING! Nope, what it does, from what I can figure out, with my temperature induced stupor, is raise taxes on those who can ill afford it, so they can spend even more. Just brilliant! What do they care? It’s not THEIR money they are squandering! But they are getting paid, with OUR money, aren’t they. I think it’s a real good idea to go back to the original plan. All elected representatives get paid a per diem, and ONLY for those days that they actually are working IN D.C. Simple, yes? And no, it won’t be enough for them to live on, so they’ll have to go back to their districts and states, and get a REAL job. See how they like being taxed and regulated to death, eh?
“The content of the plan the majority has now approved demonstrates why they were unwilling to reveal it for so long: their proposal, once accurately understood, cannot be publicly defended,” says Sessions.
It’s obvious they are counting on the low/no information voters. I’m of the mind, unless you own property, and pay taxes, you are not eligible to vote! Sound harsh? It’s a harsh ol’ world, isn’t it! If you aren’t paying YOUR fair share, then why should you get a say in how others FAIR SHARE is spent?
I’d very much like to smack that smug smirk off his lying, cheating, face! Take a gander at the votes this morning. Anything that would have saved the taxpayers money, was rejected! Freakin’ thieves!!!
I am a white, Southern, female. With the exception of 10 years in Wisconsin, 2 years in California, and nearly a year in Thailand, I have lived in the South all my many long years. Am I ashamed of being Southern? Nope. What embarrasses me is those who would take being Southern to the ugly lows of the Democrat Party, which by the way, is, and was, the party of slavery.
I remember the separate water fountains, the segregated schools, segregated buses, the separate waiting rooms in train and bus stations. I remember hearing the grown ups talk about another black person found hanging in a tree. I was young, but I DO remember how ugly it was, the horror I felt as a young child. I knew, even then, that there was something VERY wrong, but I was too young to understand just how very wrong, or what to do about it.
When I see someone like this guy featured in Zo’s video, Terry whatshisname, I get so angry, I would likely have thrown a punch at him, had I been stupid enough to attend CPAC, which, in my opinion, no longer represents conservatism. This assclown is a prime example. Was he a plant? Well, maybe, maybe not, but he sure isn’t a true conservative. The Republican Party started going down hill with that ‘big tent’ crap. No, we don’t need a big freakin’ tent! We NEED true conservatives, those who believe in God, country, and self reliance, not gubmint, gimmes, and the ignorance of public education.
On behalf of white, Southern, conservatives, I’d like to apologize for the rudeness of this guy. He does NOT represent the majority of us!
And his wife, Ashley, is a treasure too! If I hadn’t opened my eyes long enough to peruse through my email, I might have missed this little tidbit of VERY good news!
Tennessee insurance companies would be prohibited from participating in the state’s federal health care exchange that will provide federally-subsidized medical insurance under a bill approved Wednesday by a House subcommittee.
Rep. Vance Dennis, R-Savannah, said he had found “the Achilles heel of Obamacare” with his bill (HB476) and, once Tennessee approves it, other states are likely to follow and doom the federal health care program.
“With this bill, I bring you the opportunity for your children and grandchildren and my children and grandchildren to save billions and billions of dollars of money being borrowed against them by the federal government,” said Dennis.
The “Achilles heel,” Dennis said, is that the federal law still allows states to control insurance companies. Thus, by declaring a state’s insurance companies cannot use the health care exchanges set up under Obamacare, the law can be negated, he said.
But for the love of all that’s holy, do NOT tell those jackwipes in D.C.! I’ve no doubt they’ll come up with some E.O. or other unconstitutional B.S.
Dennis also contended that Obamacare would take business away from state insurance agencies writing policies for private insurance that is not subsidized by Obamacare.
But insurance company lobbyists and an attorney with the state Department of Commerce and Insurance said passage of the bill would likely mean that out-of-state insurance companies would wind up serving Tennesseans through the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
“It’s going to be very frustrating for us not to give Tennesseans the option to purchase on the exchange and have the option of the subsidy,” said David Locke, lobbyist for Blue Cross-Blue Shield of Tennessee.
The assclown is a LOBBYIST….FOR AN INSURANCE COMPANY! I seriously doubt he, or BC-BS give a flying flip about the common man. U.S. Rep Marsha Blackburn, also my rep, has been trying for years to get a bill through that would allow people to buy insurance from other states, even if that company didn’t have an office in the state you live in. Well, we know how well that’s gone over with the fat cat insurance lobbyists. Apparently, there are many companies that do not like competition, and will spend big bucks to influence our so called representatives to squash any and all….like a bug!
The bill declares that no insurance company licensed to do business in Tennessee can be part of a health care exchange established by the ACA. Gov. Bill Haslam recently declared that Tennessee will not set up its own state-operated exchange under the federal law, leaving the state exchange to be operated by the federal government.
Tony Greer, general counsel for the department, said the bill is “trying to nullify the (health care) exchange provision of the ACA.”
Well DUH, socialist dude! That’s the whole idea! 70% of Americans did NOT want this crap they foisted on us, and thank goodness there are honorable men and women, still concerned with those who sent them to office to SERVE in OUR best interest. This ObamaCare crap is NOT in our best interest!
He also disagreed with Dennis’ “Achilles heel” proposition. The ACA does have a provision saying that it will preempt any state law that is in conflict, he said, and Dennis bill would likely be deemed in conflict since it tries to keep the federal law from working in Tennessee.
Uh no…sorry, once again, socialist dude! The 10th Amendment clearly states that we CAN nullify unconstitutional federal law! False Assertion 1: That States can’t nullify unconstitutional acts of the federal government because the Constitution doesn’t say they can do it. False Assertion 2: That Nullification is literally impossible. People….seriously…. y’all need to education yourself before making such idiotic statements! Sadly, we live in an age of ignorance.
The upshot, Greer said, could be the federal health exchange authorizing companies not licensed in Tennessee to sell federally-subsidized insurance within the state while companies with a Tennessee license could not. He said some Tennessee-based companies could choose to “become unlicensed companies” so they would be able to sell the subsidized policies.
Uh…no. Actually, that would be a criminal act. It’s against the law for any insurance company not licensed in a particular state to sell insurance in that state. I know…I tried. See? Ya jack wagons, should have passed Marsha’s law while ya had the chance. Morons!
After their testimony, Dennis, an attorney, said he still disagreed with the conflicting assessments.
“I don’t believe anything in Obamacare allows an out-of-state company to sell to Tennessee residents,” he said.
When it comes right down to it, there is nothing Constitutional about this whole chitworks! People can NOT be forced to buy something they don’t want, Congress can NOT force citizens to go against their religious beliefs, and the Supreme Court (see the above link) is NOT the final say in anything, contrary to what many may believe these days. The federal government is severely limited in what powers it is granted, BY THE PEOPLE. It might be a REAL good idea for them to remember that, and start upholding that ‘dusty old document’ they swore to uphold and defend!
The bill was approved 6-2 – the two no votes coming from the only Democrats on the subcommittee. The bill now goes to the full Insurance and Banking Committee next week. The Senate companion bill, sponsored by Sen. Dolores Gresham, R-Somerville, is also scheduled for a committee vote next week.
Color me SHOCKED that the no votes were from BIG GUBMINT Dims! And by the way, Sen Gresham is my state Senator too! Heh. Hey! What can I say? We have some very smart folks in our district, who elect very smart reps!
What the blazes is the point of getting rid of ObamaCare if you keep the taxes? ObamaCare has already screwed up medical care, increasing the cost of EVERYTHING, including insurance premiums. You know, that thing that Obama claimed would NOT increase your premiums. Just one more lie from this administration.
Perhaps if they would do more to prevent fraud, there would be billions of dollars in savings. But alas, this isn’t a priority of the feds.
While I see a lot of good in this summary of Ryan’s budget, there is so much more that could be done. Yes, D.C. has a spending problem, no matter what Pelosi or Obama says. End the unconstitutional spending and we just MIGHT see some major improvements. That won’t happen though, because Washington doesn’t give a damn. It’s not their money they are wasting on useless crap! They have made us ‘slaves’ to their addictions.
First Look at the 2014 Ryan Budget
At first look, the budget unveiled today by House Budget Committee Chairman Paul D. Ryan (R-WI) advances much-needed reforms and importantly accomplishes the crucial goal of balancing the budget within the decade, though this is partially on the coattails of Obama’s tax increases. Not a silver bullet, it is more of a stasis budget, rather than a bolder plan that builds on the reforms of previous years.
There are six things that each budget from the House, Senate, and President should accomplish. These are laid out in the Heritage plan, Saving the American Dream, which:
- Balances the budget in less than 10 years, without raising taxes, and keeps the budget in balance thereafter;
- Swiftly overhauls entitlement programs, including Social Security, to guarantee economic security to seniors while making the programs affordable;
- Repeals Obamacare in its entirety;
- Fully funds defense;
- Rolls back discretionary spending; and
- Rolls back recent tax increases with a sweeping, growth-oriented tax reform plan and caps taxes at the historical average of 18.5 percent.
Here’s how, at first blush, the Ryan plan measures up:
HEY! Republican elitists! THIS is what you are suppose to do! Stick to your oath of office, and stop playing footsie with those who want to destroy the country!
Ignore the fact that the setting for the response was another royal screw up by the Republicans. Turn on the A/C, put the water closer to hand, and stop being incompetent boobs! Criminy!
The content of Sen Rubio’s response was, for the most part, pretty good. It’s quite obvious that Obama and the senator see two different Americas.
