With the White House under fire for its new rule requiring employers including religious organizations to offer health insurance that fully covers birth control coverage, ABC News has learned that later today the White House — possibly President Obama himself — will likely announce an attempt to accommodate these religious groups.

The move, based on state models, will almost certainly not satisfy bishops and other religious leaders since it will preserve the goal of women employees having their birth control fully covered by health insurance.

Sources say it will be respectful of religious beliefs but will not back off from that goal, which many religious leaders oppose since birth control is in violation of their religious beliefs.

First off, abortions are NOT health care. Unless both the child and the mother are in distress, and the doctors must save one or the other (I would CHOOSE the baby), then there is no reason for any insurance company, or a business should have to pay for an abortion. It is an elective surgery, then ends the life of a human being. I’m going to be rather crude here, and compare it to Queen Nancy’s cosmetic enhancements. Neither one is a necessary procedure.

Second, Shelia Jackson Lee once again proves how evil she really is, and has NO clue what true faith is. Republicans have fought to destroy God in this country? No, it’s the Democrats who have worked very hard to remove God from all aspects of our lives, in public and private. Republicans ‘do no work, help no one’? The Democrats have helped NO ONE. All they have done is create a greater dependency on the government, destroyed families, and created policies that prevent many from being able to find a job. Democrats are also rather notorious for their selfishness when it comes to charity. We don’t give a flying flip what his name is, or what color he is…that ‘race card’ is over used, and means nothing anymore.

Not only does this bill violate the U.S. Constitution by forcing people to buy something they do not want, it is also a violation of God’s Law! Whether you are Catholic or not, if you believe in the Word of God, then there is NO WAY you can accept this flagrant attack on your faith. Nancy Pelosi claims to be Catholic. She’s not. It’s just a word to her. The Catholic Church’s doctrine is, in simple terms, you don’t kill babies! Most churches, REAL churches, whose head is Christ, believe in the sanctity of life. Since the Methodists don’t, you can’t even call them a church.

You must ask yourself: Whose power is greater? Is it the government, or is it God! We will all have to stand before the Throne, and be judged. Do you really want to have the sin of the murder of innocents, with blood on your hands?

What could be more violent than stabbing a baby in the skull and sucking its brains out? What could be more violent than injecting a saline solution into the womb, burning the child, inside and out?  The methods of destroy the tiny life that is growing can only be considered violent.  Forcing people with true faith to participate in such actions is unconscionable!   And I must say, I find it appalling that ANY woman would believe the slaughter of children is called a ‘choice’.

The Catholic Church believes any form of contraception is wrong, and has taught that for as long as there has been an issue about it.  I knew a woman, who was a true practicing Catholic.  She had to get dispensation from the Pope because she had a medical condition that prevented her from conceiving safely. Both her life, and the life of the child, would be in extreme danger, and most likely, both would die.

I realize that a large number of churches in the U.S. have actually forgotten the reason the even exist.  They can’t seem to remember WHO is actually the HEAD of the church.  And HIS law trumps any that man foists on His people.

A twelve-year-old member of the church I pastor recently left a five dollar bill on my desk with a note that read, “I have my thieving money”, along with her signature.  I couldn’t figure out what she meant.  Had she stolen money she was now returning?

When I saw the girl’s father the next Sunday, I mentioned the money and note and asked if he could tell me what she meant.  With no hesitation, he said that it was her tithe.  She obviously had misspelled tithing.

As I thought about the misspelling, I realized that for those who do not tithe, they really do have a stash of “thieving” money, for as the Bible suggest, the one who refuses to tithe is stealing from God.

Now, what struck me in the scope of current events?  Well, that would be the complete misunderstanding of Barack Hussein Obama of scripture!

“For me as a Christian, it also coincides with Jesus’s teaching that for unto whom much is given, much shall be required,” Obama said, quoting the Gospel of Luke.

Evidently, he doesn’t understand that the command is for the individual to give.  Forced giving is not a joy, it is a burden.  To give freely of yourself is the joy that the Bible is relating, not the theft by the government in the form of taxes. It is the church’s duty to care for the destitute, the infirm, the lost, NOT the government! I suppose sitting in Jeremiah Wright’s church for all those years, it’s understandable that he doesn’t know the true meaning of Scripture. I suggest we pray that his eyes will be opened, that he will take the blinders of socialism off, and truly see!

The labor market contracted by 1.2 million people in a month, according to research from Zero Hedge, citing Bureau of Labor Statistics data.

The government reports that the unemployment rate fell to 8.3 percent in January from 8.5 percent in December as the economy has added a net 243,000 nonfarm payrolls to the economy.

However, those who quit looking for work aren’t counted as part of the total labor force, which also isn’t accurately reflecting population growth, which basically allowed the government to yank 1.2 million out of the labor force in January.

Wouldn’t it be nice if this administration would just tell the truth for a change? I know…. I’m asking the impossible!  What are the REAL numbers?  They can tell us the unemployment rate has dropped to 8.3%, but that doesn’t make it true.  How about counting ALL the people who are out of work, who have given up because there are no jobs in their field, and are now having to take government aid?  But then, isn’t that what this administration wants?  As many people dependent on the government as possible.  The ruinous policies of the Obama administration has sunk this country so far into debt, in all likelihood, no matter who wins in 2012, the ability to reverse the damage will be almost impossible in one term.  However, giving Obama and his machine a second ‘chance’, will do even MORE damage!

Among the slick, million-dollar ads for the likes of Pepsi and Honda during the Super Bowl this Sunday, viewers in New York and Boston will see a far more modest spot. New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Boston Mayor Thomas Menino will be sitting on a couch touting an issue most politicians avoid like the plague: gun control.

No, actually, what they want is people control.  Control people, be a dick-tater.

The two mayors, whose local teams face off in the big game, are making the pitch for Mayors Against Illegal Guns (MAIG), the organization they co-founded in 2006.

I don’t suppose both teams could lose, just to give both morons a black eye?  No, didn’t think so.  I won’t be watching the game anyway….I’ll be at church…”Lord willing and the creek don’t rise”!

Murder has been on the decline in New York and other major American cities for years, but the mayors say they still see too many dead cops and teens. On Tuesday night, Bloomberg was at Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan visiting a New York police officer who had just been shot in the face in Brooklyn.

“We have someone who’s dedicated his life to protecting all of us, who has had a much too close brush with death tonight because of what appears to be an illegal gun,” Bloomberg told a news conference. He added that more Americans have been killed by illegal guns since 1968 than were killed in World War II.

I’m guessing Bloomberg doesn’t see the irony of that statement?  ILLEGAL guns.  Not law abiding LEGAL gunowners, but criminals, who can get their hands on guns about anytime they want….ILLEGALLY!  Perhaps the weasel should reconsider allowing law abiding citizens to arm themselves, and push back against the thugs?  Naw….that makes WAY too much sense.  What the clown is doing, is violating the citizens of New York’s Constitutionally protected right to “keep and bear arms”.  But that’s what libs do!

Obamacare’s Latest Victim Is Religious Freedom

It has not even been two years since Obamacare was enacted, and already the President’s health care law has taken another victim — the religious freedoms Americans hold dear, as reflected by the First Amendment.

The Obama Administration recently reaffirmed a rule under Obamacare that requires many religious employers to provide health care coverage for all FDA-approved contraceptive methods, sterilization procedures, and related education and counseling. On the grounds that certain FDA-approved contraceptive methods can sometimes “cause the demise of embryos both after and before uterine implantation,” many groups also believe that the rule forces them to cover abortion.

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops is calling the contraception mandate an “unprecedented” attack on religious freedom. And in statement after statement issued in diocese after diocese, many bishops are publicly declaring that they “cannot” and “will not” comply with “this unjust law.” As Cleveland Bishop Richard Lennon explained, “Unless this rule is overturned, Catholics will be compelled either to violate our consciences or to drop health care coverage for our employees.”

It’s not just Catholics affected by the rule, however. Leaders from other faith traditions have expressed their concern, and the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty has already filed a lawsuit on behalf of an interdenominational Christian college that objects to providing abortion and related education and counseling in its health care insurance. “The mandate is un-American, unprecedented, and flagrantly unconstitutional,” says an attorney for the college.

As shocking as the Obama Administration’s action is, it should not come as a surprise. Heritage experts explained years ago that freedom of conscience in health care is closely linked to greater personal freedom over health care decisions. Health care expert James Capretta says that “it was inevitable — only a matter of time,” now that the government is calling the shots and making health care choices for the American people. “Just the sight of Catholic leaders’ being forced to go begging before federal officials ought to be enough to convince most Americans that handing over so much power over such sensitive matters to the federal government was a terrible, terrible mistake,” he writes.

This erosion of fundamental religious freedoms at the hands of the Obamacare bureaucracy is the sort of clash of government versus religious freedom that the Founders foresaw when, in the First Amendment of the Constitution, they prescribed that “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.” Not withstanding that prohibition, the Obama Administration has imposed its will on the very institutions the First Amendment sought to protect. Though the rule provides a narrow exemption for “houses of worship,” it unfortunately burdens their affiliated institutions, schools, and hospitals — thereby violating the freedom of religion. David Addington, Vice President of Domestic and Economic Policy at The Heritage Foundation, explains that the Obama Administration should take action to exempt these institutions and preserve their religious liberty:

The Department of Health and Human Services should broadly exempt religious institutions in its final regulations implementing the Obamacare contraception mandate, pending repeal of that mandate as part of the Obamacare statute repeal. Such an exemption would allow the religious institutions both to adhere, as they must, to the tenets of their faiths and to provide group health care plans for their employees. Absent such an exemption, many religious institutions, following their faiths, will have no alternative but to stop making group health plans available to their employees and pay any fines for failure to do so.

Surely President Obama did not intend what he considers his signature legislative achievement to trample on freedom of religion and to result in the loss of group health care coverage for employees of religious institutions. This is, after all, the man who told us all in 2006 that “secularists are wrong when they ask believers to leave their religion at the door before entering into the public square.”

New York Archbishop Timothy Dolan cautioned, “This latest erosion of our first freedom should make all Americans pause. When the government tampers with a freedom so fundamental to the life of our nation, one shudders to think what lies ahead.” Those dire words of warning sadly ring true. Obamacare was designed to place total power in the hands of the federal government — in an unelected bureaucracy with the power to dictate the operation of an industry that is fundamental to Americans’ health and wellbeing. With this decision, the Obama Administration has demonstrated just how far that power can go, what freedoms it can take away, and why this law must be repealed.

Although purporting to be the party that supports workers’ rights, the Democrats have risen in unified opposition to guaranteeing American laborers one of their most fundamental freedoms: the ability to choose whether or not to join a union. For instance, the Democratic Governor of New Hampshire, John Lynch, vetoed a previous right-to-work bill passed overwhelmingly by his state’s legislature.

Even President Obama has injected himself into these local disputes, claiming: “When I hear some of these folks trying to pass so-called ‘right to work’ laws for private sector workers, that really means the right to work for less and less and less. When I hear some of this talk, I know this is not about economics. This is about politics.”

I’ve never hidden my opinion of unions or of the Democrat Party, and I’m not about to start now!    Contrary to what they would like the public believe, neither entities give a flying flip about the ‘little guy’, the middle class, or anyone at all for that matter.  It’s all about power and control with those two, and they walk hand in hand.  Oh, Obama spins a pretty picture, full of rainbow farting unicorns, but it’s all a huge fantasy, with major ulterior motives…..control.  The unions?  Well, the dues paying members have been fed a bill of goods, and none at the top have the actual working person’s best interests at heart.  As a matter of fact, unions are one of the reasons so many companies have sent their manufacturing operations overseas.

Both the Democrats and the unions promote violence towards anyone who would stand in the way of their ultimate goals.  POWER!  Once they get what they want, the “little people” will be nothing but tools for them use to keep control of the masses.  Time to snap out of the Dem stupor, and start thinking for yourselves!

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi on Tuesday launched political grenades at Mitt Romney, arguing that Republicans haven’t coalesced behind the GOP frontrunner because they don’t believe he can beat President Barack Obama in November.

The House’s top Democrat repeatedly jabbed at the former Massachusetts governor during an hour-long interview hosted by POLITICO and taunted the GOP for a slate of presidential contenders that she said was “not exactly what you would call the first string of the Republican Party.”

“If the far right thought that Romney could win, they might be more enthusiastic about him,” Pelosi told POLITICO’s Mike Allen during Tuesday’s Playbook Breakfast. “But they question what he stands for and they don’t think he’s going to win. So what’s the sell? I’m not sure he knows what he stands for, and that makes it harder too.”

Pelosi should stick to things she knows, and understands, like stealing from the taxpayers, and lying through her socialist teeth.  First off, she should stop listening to the talking heads.  Chances are, Romney didn’t actually win Iowa.  But that’s neither here, nor there.  Second, I can assure Mzzzzzzzz Pelosi, if Romney, perchance, DOES become the nominee, you’ll see a “coalescing” like you wouldn’t believe!

At this point in time, I think that those who vote R, and those with a functioning brain, would vote for a cumquat just to get that useless idiot out of the White House.  And hopefully, you’ll see that Congressional door hitting YOU in the hinder in the not too distant future!  Perhaps you should skip the next botox treatment, and allow your tiny little brain to recover a bit from all the plastic you’ve injected.

This week, all eyes are on South Carolina as the Palmetto State votes on Saturday in the next Republican presidential primary contest. Jobs and the economy are rightly being debated by the entire political spectrum.

It’s not the first time in the past year that South Carolina has been center stage when it comes to jobs in a country struggling to get back on its feet. Last year, the Obama Administration took aim at Boeing when the Seattle-based company sought to build a new assembly plant in Charleston, South Carolina, in order to produce the 787 Dreamliner. Enter the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), which filed a complaint against Boeing alleging that the company decided to build the plant in South Carolina out of retaliation for union strikes at its Washington state facilities.

At the center of the issue was the fact that South Carolina is one of 22 right-to-work states, meaning that workers there have the freedom to decide whether to join a union or not. Right-to-work laws block companies from firing workers for not paying union dues, thereby protecting employees’ right to work regardless of their support for unions. In the case of Boeing, the Obama Administration — by way of the NLRB — sought to prevent the company from making fundamental decisions about where to do business, all because it wanted to open a plant in a right-to-work state. (Ultimately, the NLRB dropped the case after union negotiators reached a deal that benefited their members in a union state.)

Big labor, of course, abhors right-to-work laws because they threaten unions’ ironclad grip on employees — along with the dues they are forced to pay and the resulting political buying power the unions amass. (By some estimates, unions spent some $400 million in the last presidential election.) However, right-to-work laws have positive effects for states where they are adopted — in short, they bring much-needed jobs and investment. James Sherk, senior policy analyst in labor economics at The Heritage Foundation, explains:

Businesses want to know that, if they treat their workers well, unions will leave them alone. Right-to-work makes that more likely — and businesses notice. Studies show right-to-work laws are a major factor in business location decisions. It was no accident that Boeing built its new 787 assembly line in right-to-work South Carolina.  Neither was it coincidence that most new auto plants have been built in right-to-work states. More investment means more jobs.

Consider two counties that border each other across a state line, one in a right-to-work state and the other not. These counties have similar economic conditions, similar demographics, and similar climates. But the county in the right-to-work state has an average of one-third more manufacturing jobs. Right-to-work laws encourage investment and job creation.

Not surprisingly, other states are looking to follow in South Carolina’s footsteps. Indiana’s legislature is debating whether to make its state right-to-work, and legislators in Maine and Michigan have introduced right-to-work bills. They undoubtedly see the benefit of making their states more competitive and freeing employees to make decisions about whether or not to support unions.

But that movement flies directly in the face of the Administration’s big labor agenda. Earlier this month, the President flagrantly ignored the Constitution by making three illegal appointments to the NLRB — an act that Heritage’s Edwin Meese III and Todd Gaziano described as a “tyrannical abuse of power.” Sherk explains that unions are looking to the NLRB to boost their ranks amid flagging support — just one in 10 nonunion workers wants to join a union.

Given unions’ decreasing power — and the political debt that is owed to them — it’s not surprising that the NLRB took aim at right-to-work South Carolina or that the President flouted the law in order to make pro-labor appointments. Instead of promoting job growth, the left is promoting its political allies. Meanwhile, America’s unemployed workers are suffering the consequences of a ruling class that is putting unions’ special interests ahead of laborers.

The Hyundai Elantra edged out the Ford Focus and Volkwagen Passat Monday to win the 2012 North American Car of the Year award.

The prestigious industry award was announced at the start of the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, which hosts media previews this week and opens to the public on Saturday.

Does anyone else find this disturbing?  A foreign car company, in contention with only one US company, and another foreign company, for the “North AMERICAN Car of the Year”?  Come to think of it, just where is the Focus actually built?  I know there are still a few car manufacturing places in the U.S.  Well, at least some of ‘em are put together here.

We were once the manufacturing mecca.  Now, thanks to union thugs, and their ever increasing demands, many companies have had no choice but to move their companies to foreign shores.  The way things sit right now, anything built in the U.S. is beyond the budgets of a majority of Americans.  And folks wonder where all the jobs went?  Pfft!  Why would anyone want to buy anything built by a bunch of overpaid, whining thugs, who really don’t have to actually WORK for their benefits, or save for their own retirement like folks in the real world, is beyond me.

At one point in time, considering the horrible conditions of workers in this country, there was a serious need for someone to stand up for them, to keep them safe from all the new technology of the 19th, and early 20th centuries.  Now, we have many laws that protect the workers, and there is really NO need for unions.  Seeing the continued decline of the U.S., why aren’t those same folks who fought for the safety of the common man worried about concerned about whether or not said common man even has a job anymore?  Instead of being concerned with safety issues, the union thugs are taking over our government, aided and abetted by the POTUS.  Anyone else see a conflict of interest here?

We NEED one of these guys! In this next video, the people of the individual countries of Europe with the creation of the European Union have lost their freedoms. A Union, I might add, that I was TOTALLY against at its inception. Even I knew it was a dangerous idea. Apparently, at least the British representative has finally figured it out as well.

We weren’t founded as a democracy, but a republic. There is a difference. We need to find our way back to our founding, and very, VERY, quick!

Today, the U.S. House of Representatives is set to vote on a bill that would, among other things, open the door for the creation of thousands of new jobs, prevent a tax hike on American workers, and help reduce the crippling deficit. However, President Barack Obama has promised that he would bring the legislation to a halt with a veto—all because of his opposition the single measure in the bill that would create jobs.

What’s so offensive that would cause the President to level a veto threat? A provision in H.R. 3630, the “Middle Class Tax Relief and Job Creation Act of 2011,” that would provide for the approval of the Keystone XL pipeline project that would bring oil from Canada. Heritage’s Nicolas Loris explains that it would mean “access to easy imports from our northern neighbor, the creation of thousands of jobs, and the generation of revenue for the states where the pipeline passes. Montana, South Dakota, Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Texas are collectively projected to collect $5.2 billion in property tax revenue as a result of building the pipeline.”

The Keystone XL measure is just one piece of the bill introduced by Representative Dave Camp (R-MI), along with several cosponsors. Though not perfect, it includes some positive measures that could bring comfort to the millions of Americans who are struggling under the Obama economy and are looking for hope this holiday season. Camp said of the bill, “With its passage, Americans can be confident that these programs and provisions will be available next year, that they will not result in decades of debt and that they will be paid for with fiscally responsible reforms, not job-killing tax hikes.”

• Extend for a year the employee payroll tax reduction, which “prevents a tax hike, leaving more of the people’s hard-earned money in their own pockets, and therefore does not give rise to a budgetary need to ‘pay for’ money that is simply left where it originates”;
• Extend the unemployment compensation program, but with appropriate reforms to help the unemployed find jobs and to begin to tailor the overall program to changes in the economy;
• Extend for two years the forestalling of sudden automatic cuts in Medicare payments to physicians that would otherwise occur under the law (often called the “doc fix”);
• Extend for a year the Temporary Assistance to Needy Families program, one of the 70 federal welfare programs in need of integrated reform;
• Take some actions to reduce the increase in the federal deficit, with fees on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, additional means tests to Medicare, increasing the amount federal employees and Members of Congress must pay in to their retirement plans, and eliminating 2013 cost-of-living adjustments for federal employees and Members of Congress.

Last week, President Obama announced his intention to veto the bill when he warned, ”Any effort to try to tie Keystone to the payroll tax cut I will reject.” To be perfectly clear, the only part of this bill that will significantly create jobs is the only part President Obama is threatening to veto. And this at a time when 13.3 million Americans are out of work, the unemployment rate is hovering near 9 percent as it has throughout this Presidency, and job creation is at a record low.

President Obama does not appear interested in taking real action to put Americans back to work. In an interview with 60 Minutes, the President revealed to CBS’s Steve Kroft what he believes his role to be:

It is my job to put forward a vision of the country that benefits the vast majority of Americans. It is my job to make sure that my party is behind those initiatives, even if sometimes it’s breaking some china and going against some of the dogmas of our party in the past. We’ve done that on things like education reform. And it’s my job to rally the American people around that vision.

Americans, though, aren’t looking for a rally, and they’re not seeking out a vision—especially if it’s one where the economy continues its meandering path, job creation stays stagnant, and Washington keeps erecting walls to prosperity.

In a speech delivered at Osawatomie High School in Osawatomie, Kansas, on Tuesday, President Barack Obama argued that while a limited government that preserves free markets “speaks to our rugged individualism” as Americans, such a system “doesn’t work” and “has never worked” and that Americans must look to a more activist government that taxes more, spends more and regulates more if they want to preserve the middle class.

“‘[T]here is a certain crowd in Washington who, for the last few decades, have said, let’s respond to this economic challenge with the same old tune. ‘The market will take care of everything,’ they tell us,” said Obama. “If we just cut more regulations and cut more taxes–especially for the wealthy–our economy will grow stronger.

That certain crowd would likely be the crowd that actually KNOWS something about how the economy works.  Where as, YOU have never held a REAL job in your life, so are about as clueless as a four year old in an operating room cutting into a patient’s brain!

“It didn’t work when it was tried in the decade before the Great Depression,” said Obama. “It’s not what led to the incredible postwar booms of the ‘50s and ‘60s. And it didn’t work when we tried it during the last decade. I mean, understand, it’s not as if we haven’t tried this theory.

I guess he was never a student of REAL history. Otherwise, he would have heard of the “roaring 20s”. We could have had a depression, but we didn’t. It wasn’t until the government started fiddling around that TSHTF!  The 50s were a great decade.  Eisenhower got out of the way.  Along comes LBJ, and everything starts going downhill from there.  Great Society?  What a load of caca de toro!  The 60s and 70s brought us union stupidity, and the price of EVERYTHING jumped dramatically.  And more government intervention.

“Remember in those years, in 2001 and 2003, Congress passed two of the most expensive tax cuts for the wealthy in history,” said Obama. “And what did it get us? The slowest job growth in half a century. Massive deficits that have made it much harder to pay for the investments that built this country and provided the basic security that helped millions of Americans reach and stay in the middle class==things like education and infrastructure, science and technology, Medicare and Social Security.

If the government doesn’t stop spending money that, 1- they don’t have, and 2- isn’t theirs, then yeah… we are going to have major issues. I will repeat this again…slowly…. IT….IS…..NOT…..YOUR…..MONEY!

He should have just come out and said it, in plain English…. “I am a COMMUNIST!”
