Playing Politics With OUR Money
Well, which is it? I’m getting a very sinking feeling…one I’ve had, day after day, after day, after day…starting on the night of November 4, 2008. We really are a nation of morons!
Without those evil rich folks, there would be no middle class. Is that Obama’s intent? To completely destroy those of us in the ‘middle class’. Personally, I don’t see myself of any ‘class’. I’m an American, and I want and need, what is best for the country as a whole. When the rich do well, the rest of us do well. With one exception….those who have been feeding off the teat of the taxpayers, from one generation to the next.
IF Mitt Romney is the nominee, and IF he is able to take the White House from the Marxist in chief, I expect to see a much quicker turn around in the economy, with private sector job growth. I say IF because I seriously doubt the unions, and that a foreign owned company (Spain) will let our votes actually count. Just who decided a foreign company could, or would, ensure that our elections would fair? This is a FOREIGN company…not a U.S. company, that, IMHO, would do its utmost to make sure ever vote counts. I am at the point where I don’t believe Obama will allow himself to be defeated, by whatever means necessary. There will be voter fraud out the wazoo, and of course, that useless piece of crap holding the highest law enforcement office in the land will turn a blind eye, just like he has done, time and time again. It wouldn’t surprise me one single bit if the head honchos at the DOJ are sitting in their ‘ivory towers’ right now, coming up with plans to basically steal the election from the American people.
Obama is not a leader. He is a campaigner. That’s what he does, day in, day out. He is incapable of reason and logic. He’s been campaigning since he managed to steal the Senate seat back in 2006, and evidently, he doesn’t know how to be a leader. All those ‘campaign promises’? Hot air from an empty suit. I was willing to give him a chance. Well, he had his chance, and he blew it! He has succeeded in one area though….the ‘blame game’. You see, none of his worthless policies have worked to turn the economy around, so, naturally, it’s someone else’s fault. “BUSH DID IT!” After 3 1/2 years, don’t you think it’s time for him to pull up his big boy pants, and take responsibility for his own actions?
To quote Charlie Sykes: Life isn’t fair, get over it! Everyone has the same opportunities to succeed. It’s our choice whether or not we make use of those opportunities. Success isn’t counted in dollar signs. Success is what you do with your life, if you are happy, if you have filled that huge hole in your life, if you share joy with others, if your respect yourself, and raise your children to be productive, to respect themselves, and look toward yourself to meet your own goals. THAT is success!
Apparently, the current occupant of the White House has never understood exactly what America, and Americans, stand for. He was not raised in the country during his formative years, and those ‘role models’ he had while growing up, obviously didn’t understand the concept of liberty whatsoever. They were incapable of understanding the principles taught in the Bible, and having a ‘pastor’ such a Jeremiah Wright was no help in setting him on the path of Truth. He obviously has no idea what the true meaning of both the Declaration of Independence, and the United States Constitution. The warped sense of self is great in ‘the ONE’. And he is obviously unfamiliar with the word ‘NO’.

There Ought To Be A Law!
Oh….wait a minute….THERE IS! It’s called the Constitution, which LIMITS the power of the government, NOT the people!
President Obama has touted reports from the Congressional Budget Office claiming his health care law would actually decrease the deficit. But due to a bundle of budget gimmicks and other legislation, calculations show that Obamacare actually adds $698 billion to the deficit. This week’s chart outlines each of those budget gimmicks.
“This morning a new analysis from the Congressional Budget Office concludes that the reform we seek would bring $1.3 trillion in deficit reduction over the next two decades. That makes this legislation the most significant effort to reduce deficits since the Balanced Budget Act in the 1990s,” Obama declared two years ago.
CBO actually did project the health care law would reduce the deficit, but that assessment has “always rested on a series of omissions, gimmicks, double-counting of savings, and implausible assumptions that also have not changed since the law was enacted in 2010,” according to James Capretta, a visiting fellow at The Heritage Foundation.
The CBO report double-counted Medicare savings, which adds $400 billion to the deficit. The Medicare cuts were supposed to pay for both entitlement expansions and future benefits out of the Medicare Hospital Insurance trust fund.
So, let’s face a few facts here: Barack Hussein Obama, and his minions, have been lying to, cheating, and stealing from the American people. As Reagan said: “It’s not that liberals are ignorant; it’s just that they know so much that isn’t so.” All you have to do is listen to Debbie Washerwoman Schultz to know that this is STILL the case. (What a buffoon). They have taken your money, that you worked to earn, and “invested” in companies that anyone in their right mind, with any economic sense, would steer clear of!
They have thrown this overreaching bill in our face, and told us we will like it or else! Or else what? Well, you’ll get fined, and of course, there is always the possibility of spending time in jail because you totally disagree with the idea that the government has the ‘right’ to force you to buy something you don’t need, don’t want, and the country, as a whole, can’t afford.
They lie to seniors, telling them the Republican plans will cut Medicare, and yet, that is exactly what THEY have done. They steal your hard earned money, and give it to people who are nothing more than animals who would go out of their way to murder you in the middle of the street, in a heartbeat, and think nothing of it. They encourage “dissent” in other countries and total anarchy in our own, yet insult and belittle those who disagree with their policies. You know the ones I mean…those who support the Constitution, and would very much appreciate if all elected officials would uphold their oath to ‘support and defend’. Yet when they don’t, and won’t, nothing is ever done so why bother. I honestly question how many who are holding elected office have ever actually read our founding documents? I have no problem responding, that very few know what is even in either of the most important documents, since they have a tendency to misquote, leave out parts, and generally ignore them.
We have a POTUS, who nothing more than a spoiled, narcissistic, little boy, who when he doesn’t get his own way, will go around the elected bodies that supposedly represent the PEOPLE, and sign executive orders. Misuse of power? Oh yeah…and lots of it! Intimidation, voter fraud, outright theft of the PEOPLE’S money. I’d say we have plenty of reason to worry.
Note to Republicans in office: GROW A PAIR!

Television pundits, political hacks, progressives in higher education, brainwashed educators and the elite rulers in the halls of the Washington, D.C., cesspool love to call America a democracy. Most of the people believe it. After all, it is what is they were taught in school. But it is not so. America is a totalitarian society.
When envisioning a totalitarian regime, most American people imagine concentration camps, soldiers roaming the streets demanding “papers” and people disappearing in the dead of night. Totalitarianism American-style is more subtle. It has had to be, because the ancestors of today’s Americans believed in freedom and were willing to fight and die to preserve it.
Totalitarianism American-style has grown slowly and imperceptibly over many years. This is gradualism.
Much like watching your child grow if you see him every day, there is no perceptible difference until one day you realize the boy you saw yesterday is now a man. American totalitarianism has suddenly become a man.
The signs are all around for those who choose to see. You no longer have to search for them. Thanks to the Internet, which somehow remains out of government’s control, the signs are now appearing in plain sight, even if still only a minority realizes what the signs mean.
The Ignorance Of The Left Is Mind Boggling
Pelosi: Healthcare law guarantees ‘life, liberty, pursuit of happiness’
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Wednesday evening that the 2010 healthcare law, which prompted complaints from conservatives that Democrats far exceeded their constitutional authority, actually helps people meet the goal outlined in the Declaration of Independence, which promotes mankind’s rights to “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”
Speaking on the House floor, Pelosi called on her colleagues to remember “what our founders put forth in our founding documents, which is life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. And that is exactly what the Affordable Care Act helps to guarantee.”
Pelosi explained that the law gives people the flexibility they need to pursue these goals, since it makes it easier for them to switch jobs in order to pursue their career or family goals.
Seriously, the woman needs to lay off the botox. It’s turned what little brain she had into plastic mush! You seriously need to actually read those documents….on a regular basis…because evidently, you have NO clue what’s in them. Rights come from God and responsibilities belong to the people for their own choices and lives, NOT the government.
What “gives people the flexibility” to pursue their goals is a government that doesn’t intrude on every aspect of their lives! A government that actually does what it was created to do, and back the hell off from everything else! That includes our health care! It’s none of their flippin’ business. People can’t pursue their personal goals anymore because they can’t afford them. Why? Because of the Nancy Pelosis of the world have made sure they can’t by sucking the life out of their dreams.
And, by the way, ya dumb broad…there are NO guarantees….for anything! *shakes head* And people keep voting for that lunatic? Says a LOT of San Fransisco, doesn’t it! Can we kick them out?
ObamaCare
For anyone who still thinks ObamaCare is such a great idea….
- It increases taxes on families earning over $250,000. In 2013, the employee portion of the Medicare payroll tax will increase from 1.45 percent to 2.35 percent for families earning $250,000 or more and individuals earning $200,000 or more. The income threshold is not indexed for inflation, so more and more middle-income families will be hit by the tax hike as time goes on.
- It adds a new tax to investment income. The increased payroll tax rate is also applied to high-earners’ investment income for the first time beginning in 2013. It will hit capital gains, dividends, rents, and royalties, discouraging investment and harming economic growth.
- It puts new limitations on those with HSAs and FSAs. Starting in 2012, Obamacare restricts the products that consumers may purchase with a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Savings Account (FSA)—such as over-the-counter medications—and increases the penalty for such non-qualified uses of HSAs. It also limits the amount taxpayers may deposit into an FSA to $2,500 a year in 2013.
- It adds a new tax on those who purchase medical devices. In 2013, a 2.3 percent excise tax will be applied to medical devices, causing a $28.5 billion tax hike on medical device manufacturers. The industry will pay for this tax by reducing jobs and passing additional costs on to consumers.
- It penalizes marriage. Obamacare creates new taxpayer-funded subsidies for the low and middle classes to purchase health coverage, but the structure of the subsidies allows two individuals to claim more in subsidies alone than if married. This discriminates against married couples and discourages marriage at almost all age and income levels.
- It violates religious liberty. The Department of Health and Human Services included the full range of contraceptives, including abortion-inducing drugs, among the women-specific preventive services that Obamacare requires insurers to include with no cost-sharing. This mandate violates Americans’ conscience rights and religious liberty. Its narrow exemption for religious employers will force many who find these products morally objectionable—including religious charities, hospitals, and schools—to pay for them.
- It puts Medicare decisions in the hands of an unelected board. The Independent Payment Advisory Board, a board of 15 unelected officials, will have the power to cut Medicare spending without congressional approval. These unaccountable government appointees will be able to restrict seniors’ access to providers, treatments, and services.
- It puts a premium tax on health insurers. Obamacare adds a premium tax on health insurers that offer full coverage beginning in 2014. On average, the tax is expected to increase premiums by 1.9 percent to 2.3 percent in 2014 and between 2.8 percent and 3.7 percent by 2023. Combined with the other provisions in Obamacare, this tax will have a huge impact on the cost of premiums.
- It creates a new unsustainable entitlement program. On top of Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid, Obamacare created a new long-term care entitlement called the CLASS program. It is actuarially unsound, unworkable, and unsustainable. As a result, the Administration has already put its implementation “on hold.”
- It puts over half of all Americans on a government program. Because of Obamacare’s huge expansion of Medicaid and creation of taxpayer-funded subsidies to purchase health coverage, more than half of all Americans will be dependent on a government health care program (Medicare, Medicaid, or the government exchanges) by the end of this decade.

Texas Voter-Identification Law Is Blocked by Justice Department as Biased
The Obama administration blocked Texas (BEESTX)’s new law requiring voters to show government-issued photo identification at the polls, escalating a partisan dispute over voting restrictions.
The U.S. Justice Department used its power under the Voting Rights Act to halt the Texas law, saying in a letter to the state today that the measure may disproportionately harm Hispanics. The department in December blocked a similar law in South Carolina (NFSESC).
Democrats have objected to the voter ID laws as impediments to minority voting while Republicans have said they protect the integrity of elections. Republican officials in Texas, one of eight states that passed voter identification laws last year, said the administration has no valid reason to challenge the measure.
Ya know…I’m getting real sick of this administration thwarting the will of the people. They seriously need to pull their heads out of their hind ends, and STFU! Biased? Excuse me?

I was kind of curious what kind of brower Rippers is, cuz I’ve never heard of it and I’m plain nosy, just like they are. 
Hmmm… apparently, it is some kind of “ripper & converting” software.
The Rippers & Encoders category contains software programs developed mainly for two purposes: to extract digital audio files from external media like CDs; and to convert digital audio between file formats, such as MP3, WMV, AAC, OGG, and WAV.
Now, I’ll be the first to admit, I’m not exactly techno savvy, but it seems to me that if they want to find CDs and audio files, they are looking in the wrong place. Oh, granted, I do post videos on a regular basis, but shoot, they could just go to the source to get those….they don’t need to come here for ‘em.
Then, I did a bit more snooping, and found:
Anyone can change their useragent to say whatever they want. Chances are that it’s some no-name browser, from the name it sounds like a site ripping tool that makes copies of whole sites, ripping graphics, html, etc.
Seriously? Y’all want a whole copy? Don’t y’all have something better to do, like say…I dunno….CATCH BAD GUYS? You know the types….bringing drugs across the border, wanting to shoot Americans, or perhaps a group that would like to see buildings with lots of people in them blown up. Just a thought.
A little more snooping:
After an extensive research I found it to be one of two options. The percentage of 50/50 indicates that first it is a Browser Ripper Software that downloads your complete website for whatever purpose but states that it is for offline viewing. It would be something like this software http://www.tensons.com/products/websiterippercopier/ which can really copy and download a complete website in its structure of files, folders, images, just as you have created, makes it easy to upload to a different server and just change a few bits around, this is a link for this reference http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Webmasters/thread?tid=2b0f61e3a5 57372f&hl=en.
Also considered to be a Scraper, according to some users it’s completely harmless and just scrapes the content of your page, for mobile viewing and have it in other friendly viewing format but does not copy any content from your website. But either way, users are more likely to simply want to block any traffic that comes from such User Agents, as most of the locations of those hits mean to come from places where the threat level is high among web users with nothing but bad intent to perform illegal activities of some kind. Oh, fer the love of pete. I’m lil’ ol’ lady, living in Podunk Tennessee, with an opinion. And? What’s your problem? Seriously, y’all need to get that stick out’cher hind ends and actually start doing your job! You know…like keeping people like me, safe! So far, y’all pretty much suck at it, but hopefully, after 20 January 2013, that will change, and we Americans will actually feel safer…with NEW folks in that office who KNOW what’s what, and who’s who! SPLC – Supidity At It’s Finest
Patriots Are Radical, Racist, Hate-Filled Terror Suspects
On the heels of the National Defense Authorization Act’s indefinite detention provision and Attorney General Eric Holder’s unfortunate “the U.S. government has the right to kill you” speech and while the word “terrorist” is used ever more loosely, left-wing activists groups are ramping up their campaigns against those who believe in smaller government.
The Southern Poverty Law Center (also known more accurately as the Southern Preposterous Lie Center here at Personal Liberty Digest™), long known and called out for its shameless exploitation of race for profit, has released its latest report profiling hate in America: “The ‘Patriot’ Movement Explodes.” The word “patriot” as defined over the course of about 3,000 words by the author, however, varies a bit from Webster’s definition and the likely definition of most people who feel patriotic: “One who loves and loyally or zealously supports one’s own country.”
If there is any hate filled, racist organization, that would be SPLC! But yet, according to their definition, I’m a terrorist, and likely, so are you!
Following the alarmist introduction, the author tells his readers that the so-called “Patriot movement” is again on the uptick, growing from 149 groups in 2008 to 512 in 2009, and again in 2010 to 824, and then, last year, jumping to 1,274. The title of the report and the groups contained under the author’s definition of “patriot” likely alarm the everyday conservative who may spend time on weekends organizing for like-minded political candidates, lecturing friends about the value of our Founders’ vision laid forth in the Constitution of the United States, decrying the continual expansion of an ever-stifling Federal bureaucracy or waving signs on the local courthouse steps with Tea Party peers.
Granted, there are some groups, on the very FAR right, and the very FAR left, that are likely not all that concerned with the Constitution, or the rule of law. The very FAR right most likely want to be separate from the rest of the country that may see us regular ol’ patriots as too far left. Go figure. Then, on the very FAR left, we see the anarchists who are attacking the police and destroying property, masquerading as “Occupiers”.
Following are some of the subgroups into which the alarmists at SPLC divide patriots:
- Anti-Gay: Patriotic Americans as defined by SPLC can be members of one of 27 militantly anti-gay groups that are involved in “efforts to ban or repeal marriage equality and what seemed to be an intensification of anti-gay propaganda in certain quarters.”
- Anti-Muslim: The author contends that people who consider themselves to be American patriots may be involved in one of the 30 groups that exist throughout the Nation that vilify and commit hate crimes against Muslims.
- Black Separatists: Black Americans who consider themselves patriots, have an unfavorable view of President Barack Obama or who believe the Constitution is an important document are likely members of the small portion of African-Americans belonging to the greater sovereign citizens movement, according to SPLC.
- Christian Identity: Patriots who are also Christians may believe that Jewish people are direct descendants of Satan and people of color are “soulless mud people” in SPLC’s view.
- Ku Klux Klan: The SPLC believes that the growing Patriot movement also coincides with a growing number of Ku Klux Klan members in the country.
- Neo-Confederates: Centered on the Alabama League of the South, a group founded in 1994 with the alleged goal to organize a second Southern secession, there are 32 neo-Confederate organizations that SPLC says American patriots may belong to.
- Racist Skinhead Groups: SPLC believes that American patriots could belong to any number of racist skinhead organizations — groups that have been defined over the past several decades as being fond of punk rock, anarchy and racism.
- White Nationalist Groups: In SPLC’s view, patriotic Americans may be white nationalists, similar to those who protested school integration and racial equality during the Civil Rights era.
Well, I’m not sure about any rabid ‘anti-gay’ groups, but I do know that there are some of us out here who do take God as his word. You know, that whole man and woman becoming one, and the abomination issue. Most of us don’t hate homosexuals. Hate is for those who want to expend the energy, and wear themselves out by using destructive actions. I don’t know anyone who does that. I do know many who love the ‘sinner’, and would like to help in any way possible to get back on the path that God intended. But hate? Nope. No hate.
Anti-muslim? Well, yes and no. When there are people who want to destroy our Republic form of government, and replace it with a theocracy based on one of the most hate fill ‘religious cults’ I’ve ever seen, then…yeah….you could call me anti-muslim. Not to mention that little fact….we either submit, or we die. I have a BIG problem with that ideology. I would also mention, this is the bunch who murders their children for the sake of ‘honor’, hangs homosexuals, stones women for being raped, and an amazing array of other tidbits that, evidently, the SPLC hasn’t bothered to notice. As for ‘hate crimes’ against muslims? Seriously? Compare the ‘hate crimes’ (2009) against Jews (71.9%) vs ‘hate crime’ against muslims (8.4%), and tell me again just who is being targeted because of their religion? From the statistics for subsequent years, the numbers have risen significantly….but not against muslims.
I think I know a few ‘black-separatists’. They would be the Americans with dark skin, and no hyphens, who are none to fond of Barack Hussein Obama and his socialist policies. Now, I’m fairly sure those ‘black-separatists’ that I know don’t have anything to do with the ‘sovereign citizens movement’. In case you aren’t familiar with this ‘movement’, Wikipedia describes it:
The sovereign citizen movement is a loose network of American litigants, commentators, and financial scheme promoters, classified as an “extremist anti-government group” by the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Self-described sovereign citizens take the position that they are answerable only to common law and are not subject to any statutes or proceedings at the federal, state or municipal levels, or that they do not recognize U.S. currency and that they are “free of any legal constraints”.
They especially reject most forms of taxation as illegitimate. Participants in the movement argue this concept in opposition to “federal citizens”, who, they say, have unknowingly forfeited their rights by accepting some aspect of federal law.
I’ve seen a couple of folks who described themselves as such on the news out of Memphis a time or two. Honestly, I think those who were interviewed were in serious need of some psychiatric help, but that’s just my opinion, and only covers those I personally saw on the news. If the entire movement is different that what I saw, then, well…. not sure how to describe them. The father and son team, Jerry and Joseph Kane, who murdered police officers after a routine traffic stop, claimed to be ‘sovereign citizens’, unanswerable to any law. Well, I don’t know anyone like that, especially anyone I ever met through the Tea Party, Oath Keepers, or any other political organization or rally. Most of the folks I know believe in the laws, unlike many of those in Congress and filling White House positions. Folks I know believe the law of the land applies to EVERYONE, including elected officials, and those appointed to official posts.
Christian Identity…..sy whut? Well, no TRUE Christian believes what is posted above from that report. No….. TRUE Christians know that Israel is God’s Chosen People. “Patriots who are also Christians may believe that Jewish people are direct descendants of Satan and people of color are “soulless mud people” in SPLC’s view.” That’s about the most ridiculous thing I’ve read in quite a while! Obviously, the SPLC doesn’t know any TRUE Christians.
Now, as for the KKK, the Neo-Confederates, skinheads, and white nationalist groups….don’t think I’ve ever come across any who are members of those groups. I do know there are some in the South that are fed up with the east coast liberals who have been eroding the liberties of ALL Americans, and it’s possible that some wouldn’t mind cutting us off from the BIG gubmint types that tend to come from the north east, and the left coast. Seriously, I wouldn’t mind it myself. But as a whole, we’d actually like to return to the days when we were the UNITED States of America, instead of what we are now….the DIVIDED states. 
I remember the KKK from my youth, growing up in the South. Evil people….Democrats. Now, if you want to talk about home grown terrorists, take a real hard look at the history of the Klu Klux Klan, and exactly WHO they were/are…the terrorist wing of the Democrat Party!
“Founded in 1866 as a Tennessee social club, the Ku Klux Klan spread into nearly every Southern state, launching a ‘reign of terror‘ against Republican leaders black and white.” Page 184 of his book contains the definitive statements: “In effect, the Klan was a military force serving the interests of the Democratic party, the planter class, and all those who desired the restoration of white supremacy. It aimed to destroy the Republican party’s infrastructure, undermine the Reconstruction state, reestablish control of the black labor force, and restore racial subordination in every aspect of Southern life.”
Honestly, I think those yahoos just pull crap out of their asses and parade it as truth. We know bullsh*t when we see it, and this is a large pile!
The Left Hates The 1st Amendment
Apparently, there has been quite a stir over the comments made by Rush Limbaugh concerning the behavior of a 30 years old feminazi law student. Welp, if the behavior fits…. Evidently, we’re suppose to have to pay for her sex habits, and those of her friends. Really? I don’t think we should be forced to pay for diddly! We pay for our own health care, and can barely afford that, much less foot the bill for females who can’t keep their legs closed. Slut is the word I’d use, as well. So, Limbaugh apologized…..why? Maybe he could have come up with different words, but so what? Personally, I have been called names I wouldn’t use on my worst enemy! We’ve been called a whole lot worse, with NO evidence I would point out, than Fluke was called, and I’ve yet to hear an apology coming from ANYONE!
Limbaugh is losing advertisers, thanks to a campaign from the left. Why? Those on the left are just peachy keen when the 1st Amendment applies to them, but let anyone on the right say anything, even if it’s the truth, and all hell breaks loose! Freakin’ hypocrites! Has anyone canceled their ads on MSNBC for the horrible things they’ve said about those on the right? How about Schultz? That foul mouthed idiot? What about before Bathtub Boy got canned? Was there any yanked ads? What about Tingles and his lies? Not that I’m aware of, and have found no evidence any of the advertisers pulled their ads. Yet, here we are, looking at six different companies who have caved to the left. I wonder how many of these companies would still be in business if it weren’t for listeners of a variety of talk radio hosts, including Rush Limbaugh? You see, those on the right are typically employed, and are able to spend their hard earned dollars to purchase items from said advertisers. Since 1791, when the Bill of Rights was formally adopted, America has enjoyed the legal protection of religious freedom, enshrined in the U.S. Constitution. Today, 221 years later, centuries of progress in the protection of religious and other liberties is at risk of being rolled back in one fell swoop. The culprit: Obamacare.
As we all know, President Obama’s health care law will mandate that religious hospitals, charities, and schools abandon the tenets of their faiths and provide their employees insurance coverage of abortion-inducing drugs, contraception and sterilization. This anti-conscience mandate is but the latest assault on liberty Obamacare has ushered in. Its shock waves are reverberating across the country, waking Americans to the fact that our first freedom — religious liberty — will be the first to fall now that the federal government has unfettered control over the country’s health care system.
Law Suit For Freedom
7 states sue to block contraception mandate
Seven states filed a lawsuit Thursday to block the federal government’s requirement that religious organizations offer health insurance coverage that includes free access to contraception for women.
The attorney generals of Texas, Florida, Michigan, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma and South Carolina jointly filed the lawsuit in a Nebraska US District Court.
Two private citizens, two religious non-profit organizations and a Catholic school also joined the lawsuit against the contraception mandate, which is part of President Barack Obama’s sweeping health care law.
The lawsuit asks a federal judge to declare the law unconstitutional and enjoin the government from enforcing the requirement.
I’d really like to know why Tennessee isn’t part of this lawsuit. Come to think of it, I’d like to know why ALL states aren’t part of it! It is a clear violation of the 1st Amendment. Ok, maybe I can understand why states like California, or New York, for instance, aren’t part of it, but the states run by rational people?
It was the intent of the Founders to keep government OUT of our religious organizations, not the other way around. Mandating an religious organization to do something that is abhorrent to their faith is unconscionable. Perhaps if there were more faithful people in the government, this would never have happened. But we can see that there are way too many who have turned away from our founding, and feel themselves above God’s law.

Should judges act based upon reasoned legal arguments, or based upon their personal feelings and media coverage? A controversial recent “statement” made by Justices Ginsburg and Breyer in a case that was the legal equivalent of a slam dunk raises serious questions about what really guides some judges.
In the case, American Tradition Partnership v. Bullock, the Court was asked to address a Montana Supreme Court opinion upholding a Montana ban on independent expenditures by corporations. This should be an easy case—after all, the Court ruled in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission that bans on independent political expenditures by corporations and unions violate the First Amendment.
But Justices Ginsburg and Breyer, who dissented from Citizens United, want another crack at Citizens United. They issued a separate “statement” advocating that the Court take the “opportunity to consider whether, in light of the huge sums currently deployed to buy candidates’ allegiance, Citizens United should continue to hold sway.”

Barack Hussein Obama has blatantly violated his oath of office: I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. He has neither preserved, nor protected!

Today is Ash Wednesday — the first day of Lent — the beginning of 40 days of prayer and fasting observed by Christians across the country, culminating in the Easter feast. Likewise in April, Jews will gather to celebrate Passover, one of many traditions observed under the religious freedom that the U.S. Constitution was designed to preserve. Now, though, that freedom is under direct attack by the very government that purports to represent the people, and that is but the first step in Obamacare’s re-writing of America’s blueprint.
This week, two more Christian colleges joined other religious institutions in fighting back against that attack when they filed lawsuits against the Obama Administration for imposing an anti-conscience mandate under Obamacare. The controversial regulation forces almost all employers to provide health insurance coverage of abortion-inducing drugs, contraceptives, and sterilization, without a co-pay.
Lunch With Marsha
So, after a week and a half of utter misery (cold + damp = PAIN), the good Lord saw fit to give us a beautiful day…sunny and 65 degrees! Lord, how I love the South! Except for the cold and damp and more snow that I ever care to see again in my lifetime, but I’ll survive.
The Hardin County Republican Party and the Pickwick Republican Women hosted a lunch for our Congresswoman, Marsha Blackburn. It was really nice to see some folks I haven’t seen in quite a while due to all the health issues we’ve had going on. Our state rep‘s lovely bride, Ashley sat with us, one of my favorite patriots, Jerry Key (yep, the same one I frequently say “Shared by Jerry” on numerous posts), and Suzanne, the new president of the ladies bunch. Plus N’Gaoi, Kay, and even Dot. There were a LOT of new faces. Gracious sakes! I gotta get back into the swing of things. *shakes head*
While waiting for Marsha, Jerry gave the invocation, and a darn good one it was too! We DO need to pray for those in power, and do our best to direct them BACK to our foundings….UNDER GOD!
Now, I have to laugh, because while introducing Marsha, she kept referring to her as Senator Blackburn. When Marsha did take the floor, spoke about all the work the House is doing, and the Senate is not, she opened up the floor for questions.

There were numerous excellent questions, covering a variety of topics, from spending to national security, and the Iran/Israel situation. She stands with Israel too! There was even a ‘birther’ who got a shot in? *shakes head* Oh well, if ya don’t ask the questions, ya never know, right?
I actually did have a serious question for her, but she wrapped things up, so I had to wait until she finished speaking to a few folks.
And, of course, I did have to ask, once again, if she had considered running for the Senate. Lamar Alexander – RINO, has said he isn’t going to go for another term, so….. sigh… Couldn’t pin her down. Oh well. I’d love to see either her, or Stacey Campfield, take that seat.
If the anger and momentum continues like I saw this afternoon, I feel pretty good about the outcome. But we have GOT to do the work to get it done. First thing, make sure you are registered to vote. Second, get up off your hind end and GO VOTE! I don’t want to hear “but my vote won’t count” crap! We are going to have to battle a boatload of fraud, so YES, your vote just might make the difference between winning and losing!
