President Obama told Air Force Academy cadets Wednesday America was stronger and more respected around the world than ever before despite impending cuts to the nation’s armed forces.

The president delivered the commencement address to over 1,000 graduates at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo.

“Around the world there is a new feeling about America,” he told cadets. “There is a new confidence in our leadership.

“Today I think we can say with pride that America is stronger and safer and more respected in the world,” Obama added.

He noted the class of 2012 would be the first to “graduate into a world where no Americans are fighting in Iraq and where Usama bin Laden is no longer a threat to our country.”

Honestly, there are not enough adjectives to describe what a low life, scum sucking, son of a bitch this piece of work is….narcissist doesn’t even begin to cover him.  To basically praise himself, while cutting the legs out from under the military takes a major set of brass ones!

Oh, there’s a new feeling about America alright….a laughing stock thanks to the LACK of leadership.  I can’t even express the disgust I feel for this worthless POS!

Police want your help finding four men who teamed up to beat a young U.S. Army soldier in a South Tampa street.

It was an awful welcome to Tampa Bay for a young soldier. Police say the victim of a violent beating caught on camera is 24 years old and has lived in Tampa for less than a month.

He’s a U.S. Army soldier assigned to MacDill Air Force Base and lives not far from the base at Dale Mabry Hwy. and Interbay Blvd.

Police say Sunday morning, at around 3 a.m., the soldier’s car broke down a few miles from home along Westshore Blvd.

The attack came when he was walking home and using Iowa St. to get from Westshore to Dale Mabry. At the intersection of Iowa and Renellie Dr., the man came into the view of a neighbor’s motion-activated security camera.

A group of three young men is seen walking ahead of the soldier. Police say one of the men in the group doubled back and asked to soldier to borrow a dollar. When the soldier reached for his wallet, the first punch flew.

A sucker punch, no less.

This is a young man who is serving his country, doing what he can to keep trash like this safe, and this is how he is repaid for his service?

Three blacks, one possible Hispanic.  You ever notice that it is never just one that attacks?  It’s always many to few, usually one or two attacked by 4, 10, 30……  The word cowardice comes to mind.  One on one seems quite rare.  When will Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton be holding their rally in support of this young man?  When will they be out demanding justice for this soldier?  Will Obama take to the airwaves, calling the attack of one of “HIS” soldiers ‘stupid’?

Yeah….that will be like….never!  This actual victim is the wrong color.

Should our fighting men and women be forced to drive unarmed SUVs into war zones, with speed as their only defense against rocket and car bomb attacks? Tragically, that’s a true story of U.S. military readiness today, and America’s defenses will only get worse under the drastic cuts aimed at our armed forces.

In a new video by The Heritage Foundation, combat veteran Kerry Kachejian explains why U.S. military readiness is so crucial. He has first hand experience in the matter from his experience during the reconstruction of Iraq and Afghanistan. “Because this unit was organized, staffed, equipped and deployed so quickly, there was no spare military equipment for it,” Kachejian explained. Unable to acquire the necessary armored vehicles, his unit turned to ingenuity, courage and innovative ways to get the job done, all while coming under withering assaults from the enemy.

Kachejian’s story, which is continued in new book, “SUVs Suck In Combat,” illustrates the human impact of an ill-equipped military. He tells of being jolted by a one-thousand pound truck bomb, speeding at 110 mph through the streets of Iraq, ripping tailgates off SUVs and mounting machine guns in back, and men duct-taping their body armor to their vehicles to get even the smallest level of protection. On an individual level, the lesson is clear — our men and women soldiers are risking their lives in defense of freedom, and yet they’re ill-equipped to get the job done.

But from the ground level to the global stage, a weak, unprepared military poses great threats, as well. Unfortunately, the U.S. military is in very real danger of growing weaker, losing its deterrent force, and being left unable to fight and win wars in defense of America.

There are those in Washington who believe that America can afford to slash the military in order to shift that money elsewhere. That, though, will leave the military hollow and ill-prepared for growing threats. In a newly released Heritage lecture on the Obama Doctrine of humble engagement with friends and enemies, Kim R. Holmes explains that despite the president’s claim that the world is more secure, serious threats remain, all while the military’s readiness is being depleted.

Clearly, the military is becoming weaker. You can argue that smaller is smarter, but at some point quantity matters. The military is getting smaller and weaker. It has already cancelled the F-22 and some F-35s, the C-17s are being delayed, and 100,000 forces are being taken out of the military’s end strength.

Yet Iran has become more aggressive and is closer to gaining a nuclear weapon. Russia is far more aggressive and certainly not cooperating where we really need them to cooperate, such as on Syria and Iran. Our relationship with Pakistan has deteriorated sharply. It frankly is already acting as an adversary in some areas and may become even more so in the future. . .

There’s also the question of the future in Afghanistan. The Taliban clearly think that they are winning the conflict and only need to wait us out. It is entirely possible that after 2014, there will be areas in Afghanistan that again become safe havens that the Taliban and other terrorists control.

Despite these threats — not to mention China’s growing strength and North Korea’s erratic pursuit of nuclear weapons — future defense spending will be cut across the board by nearly $500 billion beginning next year, on top of the $487 billion in cuts proposed by President Obama in February. Those cuts will leave America with a military that is less prepared to defend the nation while signaling to our enemies that we have a weaker hand to play on the world stage.

In Heritage’s video, Kachejian explains that “The big picture is, the military really is a national insurance policy. Its primary purpose is to deter war, and if you have to go to war, it has to win it as fast and inexpensively as it can.” That insurance policy is about to lapse unless Congress acts to ensure that the U.S. military has the resources it needs to effectively defend America.

Wouldn’t it be nice if Obama actually ‘evolved’ into a grown up? A real human grown up? And how about evolving into someone less narcissistic? Wishful thinking, huh. sigh….

Isn’t it interesting that OUR military is fighting on HIS behalf?  Why would they do that?  He doesn’t even like them, and has made that perfectly clear on numerous occasions.  He’s doing his best, with the aid of the Senate to strip them of their ability to even defend themselves, much less him.  Pfft!  What a horse’s rump!

I wonder if the gay community is aware that he is doing nothing more than using them for political purposes? The guy doesn’t give a flying flip about anyone, or anything beyond his own wants and desires. And apparently, he wants to be king, a dictator, a real tyrant. I mean, after all, he has learned from the best…..Karl Marx, Joseph Stalin, Vladimir Lenin, Adolph Hitler, Mussolini, Pol Pot, etc. Oh yeah…and lets not forget Saul Alinksy, his grandparents, and his mentor, Frank Marshall Davis.

As usual with this president, Obama’s trip to and speech from Afghanistan had way more to do with politics than any real substance.

Seven thousand miles, one way, is a long journey to share war remarks with countrymen that he should have and could have shared back home many months ago. Despite the administration’s best backgrounding sales efforts, the document he signed with Afghan President Hamid Karzai is a meaningless basic agreement to talk later about forging a real agreement.

Nothing was essentially changed by what the media lovingly called his “secret trip” to the war zone, which was simply unannounced for security reasons.

So, how much did this useless little jaunt cost the taxpayers this time? I guess we’ll find out eventually. But we must remember to add in all the goodies he’s promised to the corrupt Afghan government as well. What was I heard? TWO BILLION? Was that a year, or in total? And we shall never forget the cost in the lives of our military men and women, those who will never come home (68% on Obama’s watch), and the many whose lives will never be the same, physically, mentally, or emotionally. There is no dollar number that could EVER reflect that cost!

So, what was this word BO left out?

In his speech last night the president noted the more than a half-million Americans who’ve served in Afghanistan. But in remarks that Obama wanted focused on an optimistic end to the conflict, he failed to mention the 1,957 Americans who’ve died there since 2001, 68% of them during his presidency. And 93 in the last 122 days.

Nor, as it turns out, could the politically-inclined president of the United States find room anywhere among his 1,556 words for the seven letters that could make his surges and all those sacrifices seem more worthwhile: “victory.”

The one word that Americans have fought and died for in way too many wars. Victory! There is no victory when you aren’t allowed to win. Enemies are to be killed….not won over to your side. It just doesn’t work that way. Well, at least it didn’t use to, when Americans were proud, and men stood up for their principles, AND their country.

Ya just gotta love this little tidbit:

But over the last three years, the tide has turned. We broke the Taliban’s momentum. We’ve built strong Afghan security forces. We devastated al Qaeda’s leadership, taking out over 20 of their top 30 leaders. And one year ago, from a base here in Afghanistan, our troops launched the operation that killed Osama bin Laden. The goal that I set — to defeat al Qaeda and deny it a chance to rebuild — is now within our reach.

I’m not really sure what planet that dude is on, but it ain’t planet Earth with the rest of us mere mortals. al Qaeda has branches all over the world, and they still have a large bullseye on the Big and Little Satans. No matter the name of the TERRORIST group, they are all the same in their goals. Destroy Western civilization, and kill any who do not submit to their phony god.

Oh, and then there is this:

Fourth, we’re pursuing a negotiated peace. In coordination with the Afghan government, my administration has been in direct discussions with the Taliban. We’ve made it clear that they can be a part of this future if they break with al Qaeda, renounce violence and abide by Afghan laws. Many members of the Taliban — from foot soldiers to leaders — have indicated an interest in reconciliation. The path to peace is now set before them. Those who refuse to walk it will face strong Afghan security forces, backed by the United States and our allies.

Really? Dude….put down the doobie, K? Rational human beings don’t ‘negotiate with terrorists’.  The Taliban?  Just another name for evil Islamonazis, and they are terrorists.  Simple.  The Afghans are not our partners in this ‘war’.  They are as much the enemy as the North Vietnamese were during that ‘conflict’.

Oh, and isn’t it interesting that BO chose the one year anniversary of bin Laden’s death?  Which, naturally, he is taking the credit for…as usual.  Take credit for what he didn’t do, while blaming others for he did do.  Gosh!  What a ‘leader’, eh?

This future is only within reach because of our men and women in uniform. Time and again, they have answered the call to serve in distant and dangerous places. In an age when so many institutions have come up short, these Americans stood tall. They met their responsibilities to one another, and to the flag they serve under. I just met with some of them and told them that as Commander-in-Chief, I could not be prouder. And in their faces, we see what is best in ourselves and our country.

Our soldiers, our sailors, our airmen, Marines, Coast Guardsmen and civilians in Afghanistan have done their duty. Now we must summon that same sense of common purpose. We must give our veterans and military families the support they deserve, and the opportunities they have earned. And we must redouble our efforts to build a nation worthy of their sacrifice.

….will anyone bring up the fact that our military is being decimated and demoralized?

Did you know that military family and friends have to buy their soldier the equipment needed to keep them safe?  Well, at least as safe as possible in a war zone.  Why?  Because the freakin’ military doesn’t have the money needed to supply our troops, that’s why!

Where are all our tax dollars going that is suppose to keep us safe from the evil that is rampant in the world?  Gee, where should I start?  How about those who believe they are owed a check off YOUR hard earned dollars?  Maybe it’s the over bloated government spending on useless crap?  Or how about the salaries that pay our so called ‘public servants’ who do nothing but whine and complain they aren’t getting their ‘fair share’?  Do you know who are not getting their fair share?  That would be the men and women of our military!  No government employee should EVER make more in a year than the lowest ranked in our military.  NEVER EVER!

Do you know how many pairs of boots I sent to Iraq and Afghanistan?  And I don’t even have a family member serving!  Well, that’s neither here nor there.  The issue is why isn’t our military given the BEST of EVERYTHING?????  Is it because Michelle has to take her monthly vacation to the tune of a half mil?

Yeah…I better stop now.  I promised myself, I wasn’t going to be angry anymore.  Believe me, that’s a real hard promise to keep, but I am trying!

One year ago today, Seal Team Six landed in Abbottabad, Pakistan, and succeeded in bringing Osama bin Laden to ultimate justice. Though some may wish to bask in the glow of that success, now is not the time to celebrate or lay down arms. Bin Laden may be dead, but serious threats against the United States live on, both here in the homeland and around the globe.

President Obama, though, is using the occasion to boost his re-election efforts with a self-congratulatory campaign ad. Heritage’s James Carafano writes, “If Lincoln had spent the entire Gettysburg Address talking about himself, it wouldn’t have been quite that crass.” And last night, the president made a campaign stop in Afghanistan where he delivered a speech remarking that the “dark cloud of war” is breaking way to “the light of a new day on the horizon” as U.S. troops continue to be withdrawn from the country. “This time of war began in Afghanistan, and this is where it will end,” he declared.

But hours before the president spoke, Americans received a stark reminder that threats do not end at the time and place of our choosing. Late Monday, the FBI arrested five self-proclaimed anarchists who had planted what they believed to be explosives at the base a bridge over Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Ohio as part of the international May Day protest. Thankfully, law enforcement foiled their plot, and the men were using inoperable explosives obtained from an undercover FBI agent.

Unlike previous attempted terrorist attacks, the Ohio plot was not inspired by Islamism or hatched in the rugged mountains of Afghanistan. However, Islamist-inspired terrorist threats are by no means a thing of the past. Since 9/11, at least 50 Islamist-inspired plots against the homeland have been thwarted through the concerted efforts of U.S. intelligence and law enforcement. Without a doubt, more attempts are being hatched, and a target remains painted on American soil. Shrinking the U.S. military or retreating from the world stage will do nothing to diminish those threats.

However, as we saw last night, that is the path that President Obama would like to pursue. With bin Laden’s death serving as a notch of victory on his belt and with troops coming home from Afghanistan in accordance with an artificial timeline, the president is primed to make his pitch to the American people that this is a job well done. But there are more innings to be played in this Long War against terrorism, and other threats remain in every corner of the world.

That’s why this month The Heritage Foundation is hosting its fourth annual “Protect America Month” in which leading conservatives and defense experts will deliver speeches and author a series of papers showcasing the need for America to commit to defending itself. In the first in a series of Protect America Month “America At Risk” memos, Matthew Spalding, PhD, Vice President of American Studies at The Heritage Foundation, writes that the federal government and its elected officials have an existential obligation to ensure that America is defended:

It is the constitutional duty of the federal government to secure the country’s international borders and preserve and protect its territorial integrity, to strengthen and preserve its constitutional government, and to promote the long-term prosperity and well-being of its people. This means that the United States must be able, willing, and prepared at all times to defend itself, its people, and its institutions from conventional and unconventional threats to its vital interests, both at home and abroad.

Unfortunately, under this Administration, the military is facing significant cuts that severely undermine America’s ability to defend itself and stand ready to combat the threats that lie around the corner.

Those threats could very well emerge from Afghanistan if the Taliban are allowed to return to power, creating a breeding ground for al-Qaeda. In his speech last night, President Obama announced the signing of a Strategic Partnership Agreement with Afghanistan, making clear that the United States will retain a force presence in the country long after 2014. That is a sliver of good news, but Heritage’s Lisa Curtis explains, “that does not erase the mistakes the Obama Administration has made in setting arbitrary timelines for withdrawal of combat forces and failing to explain the stakes for the U.S. in Afghanistan to the American people for so long.”

The threat in Afghanistan remains, and the mission to protect America must continue. The president spoke last night of pursuing talks with the Taliban, yet hours later Taliban forces attacked a private compound with a car bomb, followed by gun fire, killing seven people and injuring 17 others. Clearly, the prospects for a political settlement with the Taliban remain remote.

The United States must recognize that it cannot wish away threats or retreat into retreat into its fortress. There are no castle walls high enough to prevent another 9/11, and turning away from enemies abroad will not make them go away. The U.S. military must be prepared to combat future threats, America’s law enforcement and intelligence communities must have the tools to prevent terrorist attacks at home, and our elected officials must recognize their constitutional obligation to protect America from its enemies, both foreign and domestic.

Social-diversity programs as applied to the U.S. military have been accompanied by a startling number of sex crimes: 515 rapes, 414 aggravated sexual assaults and 349 forcible sodomies documented by the Criminal Investigation Command in just 2011, according to an analysis of several military reports.

Where to even start on this one. *shakes head*

“Pentagon officials regularly praise their own work and proclaim undeserved ‘success,’ even though evidence of sexual misconduct, both consensual and non-consensual, continues to accelerate, year after year,” said Elaine Donnelly, chief of the Center for Military Readiness.

If the increased number of sexual assaults in the Army is what they consider ‘success’, we have got some major problems going on in the Pentagon.

The organization studied several new military reports to arrive at its assessment of what’s been going on in the ranks over the past few years, as Barack Obama and his compatriots in Congress eliminated the longstanding “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy that banned open homosexuals from the military.

Repealing DODT was a really bad idea. For many years, gays served in the military, many with honor, but they weren’t allowed to ‘flaunt’ their sexuality. Many of those around them ‘knew’, but as long as it wasn’t blatant, then most had no problem. However….the increase in assaults can NOT be blamed on this repeal. The increase in assaults began when someone had the bright idea that men and women were the same, and should be trained together. Are they out of their flippin’ minds? Obviously, the answer is……………..YES!

“It is time to reconsider and change flawed policies that are weakening the culture of the only military we have,” Donnelly said.

Gee….y’think? Contrary to what the feminazis would like the world to believe, men and women ARE different. We think differently, we react to the same situation differently, and in case some fool in the Pentagon hasn’t noticed, our bodies are quite different. When you put men and women in tight quarters together, you are going to have problems. Contrary to what we’d all like to believe, not everyone who joins the military is honorable!

She said so far, teams of professional sexual assault response counselors, untold hours of mandatory training, preemptive punishments, bureaucracy, conferences, meetings, and feel-good gimmicks have produced:

• A hike of 22 percent since 2007 in the sexual assaults in all branches
• A doubling since 2006 of the number of violent attacks and rapes in the Army, from 663 in 2006 to 1,313 last year
• A “chilling trend” of violent sex crimes rising at the rate of 14.6 percent annual, “and the rate is accelerating”
• A 28 percent increase in the offense rate, and a 20 percent increase in offenders from 2006-2011 in sex crimes in the active-duty Army
• A jump in male sexual assault victims from 10 percent in 2010 to 14 percent in confidential reports for 2011
• The need to fire senior enlisted Navy officers at the rate of nearly two per month because of sexual misconduct.

Well now, I don’t know about you, but I think their little social experiments are a massive FAILURE!

Donnelly explained the problem has been developing for some time. She cited the 1997 recommendation from the Kassebaum-Baker Commission for the Army to end the gender-integrated basic training because it was “resulting in less discipline, less unit cohesion, and more distraction from training.”

But the advice was ignored, she said.

Ignored?  I’m SOOOO surprised.    I repeat, men and women are different. It’s not rocket science! Lowering standards to accommodate females training with the males wasn’t such a bright idea either. And let’s not forget that many recruits come out of areas that, shall we say, produce less than stellar citizens. Gang infiltration of the military has become a HUGE problem. Don’t they do background checks on recruits?

And Navy Secretary Ray Mabus, even while noting that the military branch experiences three sexual assaults every day, called for observance of a “Sexual Assault Awareness Month” that included “adult interactive plays.”

In case you aren’t aware, Mabus is an Obama appointee.  I know…another shocker.  All the feel good ‘let’s be aware’ crap they force on people isn’t going to change facts!  I wonder if he’s aware how much of a pussy he sounds like coming up with dumb ideas like this?  Naw…none of ‘em up there in the ‘the swamp” have a clue.  Just because he served a whopping two years on a ship does not make him a military expert, nor does it make him a good choice for that position.  If you want a qualified Navy Secretary, you find one that made a career of it, and knows the ins and outs of that branch.  Ya don’t come up with a freakin’ lifetime politician, who lost touch with the real world a long time ago!

“Despite tangible evidence of failure, the same officials expect free-rein to implement policies that would worsen the situation. On Feb. 9, 2012, Pentagon briefers announced their intent to promote ‘diversity’ by incrementally implementing controversial recommendations of the Military Diversity Leadership Commission,” she said.

That word ‘diversity’ has caused more problems that it could ever solve!  Oh, sure, it would be nice if these feel good programs had a positive effect, but can you name one that hasn’t made matters worse?   I don’t want ‘diversity’ in our military.  I want lean, mean, fighting machines!  I want our soldiers trained to fight, to win…not sexually assault their fellow soldiers.  All these ‘progressive programs’ are turning our military into a bunch of pussies!  I know many who served our country with honor who are just as appalled as I am at what the strongest and BEST military force in the world is being turned into.

The report said the next White House administration, to minimize damage and reverse course, should “put the needs of the military above ‘diversity metrics.’” And the military should reinforce core values and policies that are known to reinforce personal discipline, it said.

The needs of our military should ALWAYS come first! Without discipline, you have chaos. I thin we’ve seen enough D.C. caused chaos for 10 lifetimes in just the last few years.

Basic training also needs to be separate for genders, women should be exempt from direct ground combat units, and military policies should be “based on reality, not ‘social fiction.’”

This is just plain common sense! I repeat, men and women are DIFFERENT!

“For more than 20 years, feminists, social engineers, and ‘diversity’ advocates have used sexual politics and scandals to intimidate Pentagon officials. Policy makers who capitulated to sexual politics have not been held accountable for their decisions, but they ought to be now. It is time to drop the groupthink and reexamine conventional wisdom,” the report said.

If Pentagon officials can be intimidated by a bunch of bull dykes (yeah…go ahead…call me a bigot…don’t care!), then they are in the wrong business! The Pentagon should be above petty politics, and whining activists!

“Contrary to claims of complete success warranting further ‘progress,’ the Army’s own analysis of risk factors reveals a connection between liberal social policies and escalating violent sex crimes in the military. Exposing female soldiers to even more violence – at the hands of land combat enemies – would not solve the problem. It would only make it worse.”

Once again…I’m shocked! SHOCKED, I tell ya! Aren’t you? Moronic liberals always seem to forget, there are consequences for EVERY action. It’s past time to lay the blame directly at the feet of the liberal>progressive>socialist>commies! In all honestly, I do believe it is their intent to destroy the military. A weakened military makes for a weak country. A weak country is ripe for a takeover. One thing the progressive fail to remember. There are a whole lot of military, former military, and plain ol’ civilians that will stop them in the quest to turn the U.S. into a “worker’s paradise’, where everyone is the same….miserable in poverty.

The Thomas More Law Center announced a federal FOIA lawsuit against the Navy, seeking to obtain records that are expected to show intentional deception by the Pentagon “to gain congressional support for repeal of the 1993 law regarding open homosexual conduct in the military, usually called ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.’”

The lawsuit is based on the IG report obtained by Donnelly, “which suggested that a distorted Pentagon study of homosexuals in the military was produced and leaked solely to persuade Congress to lift the ban on open homosexuality.”

Again, to lay this increase of sexual assault solely on the doorstep of the repeal of DADT is just as misleading as the report stating the most of the military supported the repeal. The increase in assaults started before the repeal, yet actually about the time the Democrats took control of Congress. Hmmm….

Oh, and let’s not forget that this administration called the murder of 14 people at Fort Hood “work place violence’.  Are they going to call these assaults foreplay?

Taliban-led insurgents opened a spring offensive Sunday with a wave of coordinated suicide missions, firing at embassies and government offices from seized buildings in Kabul and attacking U.S. bases and police stations in three eastern provinces.

The strikes, which seemed to catch U.S.-led forces and Afghan authorities by surprise, sparked fierce firefights in Kabul and two other cities that underscored the insurgency’s lethality as U.S. combat troops gird for the second phase of a withdrawal due to end in 2014.

“This is the start of the spring operations,” Zabihullah Mujahid, a Taliban spokesman, declared in a cellphone interview with McClatchy. “This is just the beginning.”

Caught them by surprise?  Seriously?  It’s spring, right?  And isn’t spring when the crazy people come out?  And if there is anyone more crazy than the Taliban muzzies, I’m can’t think of ‘em right now.  (It is fairly early, and I’m still working on my first cup of coffee.)  I would expect the morons in the Obama administration to be surprised, but not the troops that are on the ground in that God forsaken future field of glass!  I would think from experience, they would know that attacks were coming and be prepared, no matter what those fools in Washington say.

Perhaps if our troops had been allowed to do their job, wipe the sons of beaches out, like most logical people would do with an enemy that wants to destroy you, we wouldn’t be spending billions of dollars and the greatest of treasure in that hell hole, propping up a corrupt government, feeding the demon.

The violence, which lasted past nightfall in Kabul and Puli Alam, the capital of neighboring Logar province, claimed the lives of at least 26 insurgents and four civilians, Afghan and NATO officials said. At least 36 others, mostly civilians, were wounded. All of the casualties were Afghans. Some of the attackers were captured.

The attacks, Mujahid said, were “a message” in response to recent assertions by U.S. officials and NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen “that there would be no spring offensive because we are not able to fight.”

The U.S.-led International Security Assistance Force, or ISAF, issued a statement calling the strikes “largely ineffective.”

“Largely ineffective”? Honestly, I’m flabbergasted. I bet ya dollars to donuts, the families of those civilians who were murdered think the scum were pretty effective. I’d think the wounded would feel the same way, as well. And this is the bunch that that fool who claims to be the ‘CiC’ wants to negotiate with? We could have ended this whole damn thing a long time ago if the politicians had let our military do its job! Screw that ‘winning hearts and minds’ butt explosion! You fight a war to win! Not make friends! You demand fear and respect from your enemy, not give them money. You completely and utterly destroy them!  And yes, I blame Bush and his bunch just as much as I blame that jackass who currently resides in the White House, with all his pussy radical leftards!  This ‘nation building’ crap has got to stop!  Think Japan, 1945!  Get rid of Karzai, all of his cronies, put in a provisional U.S. Military government, wipe out the bad guys, and see if those left would prefer to live in peace.  If not, then send them to Allah, too!  Once they’re all gone, there will be a whole lot of empty land.  Give it to the highest bidder!  Better yet, send over the cowards in the administration and their supporters.  Let them create their socialist ‘paradise’, as far away from liberty loving people as possible!

A US soldier in Afghanistan has killed at least 16 civilians and wounded five after entering their homes in Kandahar province, senior local officials say.

He left his military base in the early hours of the morning and opened fire in at least two homes; women and children were among the dead.

Nato said it was investigating the “deeply regrettable incident”.

Anti-US sentiment is already high in Afghanistan after US soldiers burnt copies of the Koran last month.

US officials have apologised repeatedly for the incident at a Nato base in Kabul, but they failed to quell a series of protests and attacks that killed at least 30 people and six US troops.

Yep…I really should feel bad about this incident, but right now, I just don’t.  I’m sorry kids were killed, but then, there were children murdered on 9/11, and many more since then.  What is truly regrettable is the fact we still have troops in that 7th century, backwood country.  What is even more regrettable is the numerous apologies for doing something those people do all the time….trash their so called ‘holy book’.

Local people have reportedly gathered near the base in Panjwai district to protest about Sunday’s killings, and the US embassy is advising against travel to the area.

Lt Gen Adrian Bradshaw, deputy commander of Nato-led forces, said he was unable to “explain the motivation behind such callous acts”, adding that “our thoughts and prayers are with those caught in this tragedy”.

I’m still waiting for the apologies to the families of the U.S. and NATO personnel that were murdered by the Afghans over the burning incident. Haven’t heard that yet, have we? Did I miss it? Has that so called CiC made any effort to reach out to their families? Or, is it just the ‘sluts’ of the Dem party that get support from that fake?

I don’t know why the soldier went off on the ‘civilians’. It’s regrettable that any of our men and women in uniform have to suffer from so much internal pain caused, in large part, by the lack of back up from their own government. Remove our troops, and bomb the SOBs back into their caves. Not a one of them deserve the treasure we have spent to free them from the oppressive Islamic regime. They evidently don’t want liberty, and our government has the audacity to actually ‘negotiate’ with the animals? NO MORE! We have had enough of this BS! When you go to war, you go to win! You do NOT go to make friends, win hearts and minds. You totally destroy your enemy!  Let them be destroyed!

Two American soldiers were killed Thursday in a shooting by an Afghan soldier and a literacy teacher at a joint base in southern Afghanistan, officials said, the latest in a series of deaths as anti-Americanism rises following the burning of Korans by U.S. soldiers.

Both were killed on the same day that the top NATO commander allowed a small number of foreign advisers to return to work at Afghan ministries after more than a week of being locked down in secure locations because of the killing of two other Americans.

Thursday’s killings raised to six the number of Americans killed in less than two weeks amid heightened tensions over the Feb. 20 burning of Korans and other Islamic texts that had been dumped in a garbage pit at Bagram Air Field near Kabul. More than 30 Afghans also were killed in six days of violent riots that broke out after the incident.

Wait a minute. I thought D’Bama said his apology got everything calmed down. So, I’m guessing the 6 dead Americans isn’t true? I’m sure their families will be quite happy to know that Barack Hussein Obama is in charge, and all is well, including their dead loved ones.

They were already ‘defiled’, so why not burn ‘em anyway? Hypocrites!  We’ve already lost enough to those animals.  Why don’t dipwads who sit in their fancy offices, judging everyone else, take their sorry hind ends over there, and apologize to the Americans who put their lives on the line to protect a bunch of animal ingrates!  WE Americans have had ENOUGH!

NATO must remain focused on fostering stability in Afghanistan despite the protests and violence that have gripped the country following the burning of copies of the Koran on a NATO military base, the alliance’s head said on Tuesday.

“Despite the tragedy of this incident and the challenges we face, we must not lose sight of our goal, a stable Afghanistan. That is in all of our interest; that must remain the focus of our shared effort,” NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said during an alliance seminar in Washington.

The tragedy here is the ridiculous reaction of the the non leadership of the Pretender in Chief, and his minions.  What shared effort?  I can bet ya dollars to donuts that ‘stability’ in Afghanistan is a pipe dream.  The best thing anyone could do, in the BEST interest of the rest of the world, and as a very strong message, is to bomb them back into their caves.  I mean seriously, it’s a third world country, with a third world mind set, based in the 7th century.

The strategy of the United States and its NATO partners has been questioned in recent days, after the burning of copies of the Muslim holy book triggered widespread protests and two US officers were killed in an attack that took place within the Afghan Interior Ministry.

Well, I have been questioning their ‘strategy’ for quite a while m’self. I mean, after all, isn’t the purpose of a war is to actually…oh….I dunno…..WIN? In case those in Washington, and at NATO, aren’t aware….the purpose is to utterly DESTROY the enemy. Once they are completely vanquished, then you can play nice. The Obama administration’s proposed defense budget calls for military families and retirees to pay sharply more for their healthcare, while leaving unionized civilian defense workers’ benefits untouched. The proposal is causing a major rift within the Pentagon, according to U.S. officials.
