Never Say You Weren’t Warned!

Many people tried to warn the country, even me, in my own small way. There are always consequences for any action, and elections are no exception. This morning I read one of the better pieces that attempts to explain just what the consequences will be.

God will not be mocked
by Matt Barber

America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves. ~ Abraham Lincoln

America has forsaken her first love. She has finally, and fully, given herself over to a licentious Lothario with whom she has increasingly flirted since her youth. He is sin – and, notwithstanding full knowledge of who he is and what he intends, with him she has lain.

America has tasted the poisonous fruits of lust, pride, passion, and envy – sloth, frivolity, iniquity and entitlement. She has tasted of their sweet deception and found it irresistible. She has danced in the streets, intoxicated by the very poison that will be her undoing.

America has rebelled against God. She has shaken her fist at Him and arrogantly cried, “We don’t need you. We don’t want you. We know better than you. Now go away.”

And so He’s going away.

The insanity of the last four years makes the previous 40 to 60 look like kindergarten.  I know evil when I see it, and I’ve seen quite a bit over my lifetime.  Granting permission to murder children in the womb was the first big step towards where we are today.  When I saw the Democrat party deny God, not once, but three times, at their convention, I knew…we are at the end.  There is no turning back, unless, or until, we remove the “leaders” who are so entrenched in their evil.  We did try, but the fraud, the lies, the cheating, led by the spawn of Satan prevented our success.  Perhaps we didn’t fight for our faith hard enough?  I don’t know.  What I do know is that the ‘go along to get along’ mindset has destroyed us.

In Genesis, God told Cain “If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.” (Genesis 4:7) Perhaps Edmond Burke was referring to this passage when he said “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.” Good men and women have been standing by, doing nothing for long enough. If we, as a nation, expect God’s blessing, then perhaps we should bless God. Until we do this, we will continue on our path to Hell.

I decided I wasn’t going to be glued to the idjit box all day (or snoop the interwebs), so we didn’t even turn on the news until a few minutes ago.  After what little I’ve seen of the results, I’m not as optimistic as I was this morning.  I am praying that by the time this is all over, the numbers will improve in the RIGHT direction.

After the last four years, I would have hoped there would have some serious waking up across the country.  Apparently, I put too much faith in the American people.  At least half of them.

Pray for our children!  They will never know liberty.

But at this point, I do not believe that Romney should concede as yet.

Choose Liberty!

4 November 2012, 10:49 am. Comments Off. Filed under 2012, Opinion.

I get the impression that there are many people who have forgotten what large responsibility voting really is!  We have an obligation to use this wonderful privilege, and so many throw it away. Many tell themselves their vote doesn’t really count. Considering the widespread fraud, I can understand that viewpoint, but if enough HONEST people cast their vote, then it IS possible to overcome the fraud, and elect a reasonably decent candidate despite the cheating, lying and stealing of the opposition.

In 1961, the newly elected John F Kennedy made a statement in his inaugural address: “And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you — ask what you can do for your country.”  I was young at the time, but thought I vaguely understood his meaning.  I’ve thought I understood it all these years, and it finally hit me…  I really didn’t understand.  But I think I do now.  Perhaps it’s not exactly what he meant at the time, but it sure does seem to fit today’s voting population.

When you go to the poll to cast your vote, are you voting for the candidate who can give you all kinds of goodies?  Or are you voting for a candidate that will open up doors for opportunities, for you, for your children, your grandchildren?  Do you want a candidate who will give you pretty words, and promise you the moon, and take away any hope for a better tomorrow?  Or, would you prefer a candidate whose actions speak volumes about the content of his character?  One who doesn’t brag on his/her quiet moments, but whose heart has proven his or her worth.

When you go to vote on Tuesday, assuming you haven’t already voted like we have, there are a few questions you need to ask yourself before making such an important decision…one that will affect every man, woman, and child in this country.

1.  Who would you trust with your family’s life savings? Would candidate A, or candidate B, be more trustworthy to manage your business that you spent years building up?

2.  Who would you trust to be on your side in a fire fight?  Who do you believe would have your back (watch your six) when push came to shove?

3.  Who would remember the U.S. Constitution, follow the guidelines laid out by the Founders?  Enforce the laws of the land, and allow citizens the freedoms to grow as individuals, and as a nation?

There have been threats of riots, death threats, and vulgarities towards the ‘right’….always coming from the ever tolerant ‘left’. This doesn’t make for a strong, united country, but will be dealt with should the need arise. The fear of losing ones food stamps seems to be a common theme. That would be the ‘what are you going to do for me’ crowd. Obviously, the future of their children mean nothing to them. The blatant selfishness has become so rampant in this country, it’s no wonder that many people have become so pessimistic, they believe their vote won’t count.

What it boils down to, this election really isn’t about us.  No, we are just passing through.  What this election is really about is our children, and their children, and their children.  Will there be a UNITED States of America in 100 years?  Or will we be just a footnote in a dusty history book? This truly IS the most important election of our lifetime!

Faith VS Politics

CNN religion blogger attacks Christian Conservatives for supporting Romney

Why are evangelicals like Billy Graham and Ralph Reed stumping for Mitt Romney? And why are roughly three-quarters of white evangelicals inclined to vote for him?

Because politics matters more to them than religion.

[...]

Until quite recently, many evangelicals saw Mormonism as a dangerous cult spreading false theology and dooming its followers to hell. In fact, only after Romney showed up for a meet and greet with Billy Graham in North Carolina earlier this month did the website of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association erase a reference to Mormonism as a “cult.”

Did Mormons all of a sudden change their theology? Did Graham change his definition of a “cult”? Of course not. It just became politically expedient for Graham to declassify Mormonism, given the fact that Romney, a Mormon, was the presidential nominee of his beloved GOP.

Ralph Reed, too, is forsaking his theology for his politics, mobilizing his Atlanta-based Faith and Freedom Coalition to place voter guides in Ohio churches in the run-up to election day.

Read the entire column here.

sigh…  You have NO idea how much the so called Christians, and suppose ‘religious’ writers annoy the bejabbers outta me!

Is Mormonism a cult?  I have no idea.  I do know that they DO believe that Jesus came to save us from ourselves, and offer us redemption.  The rest?  Well, perhaps they don’t worship the same way I do, but then, neither do the Presbyterians or Catholics.  Does that make them cults as well?  Mormons don’t promote the death of those who don’t think the same way they do, unlike another so called religion the left seems to promote on a regular basis.

Perhaps those that are being criticized and insulted in the post made the effort to learn more about Mormonism, and learned more about the man himself, and see that he IS a man of faith.  Just because his faith is different doesn’t mean he’s wrong for the job.  Does anyone remember how many were all up in arms about John F. Kennedy being Catholic?  Well, I do.

Does this so called ‘religious blogger’ for CNN support Barack Insane Obama?  Well, that would mean he is NOT a Christian.  No real Christian can support a candidate who promotes the murder of children, or anything that violates the Word of God.  Professing the belief in Christ and voting for a candidate who has the blood of millions on his hands is the epitome of hypocrisy.

FYI dipwad (Stephen Prothero)…my FAITH is more important than politics!  Which is WHY I refuse to vote for your messiah!

When it comes to a choice between an American hating, lying, cheating, baby killer and a Mormon?  I’ll take that Mormon ANY DAY!

To put it in very simple terms…  YOU CAN NOT BE A CHRISTIAN AND VOTE FOR A DEMOCRAT!  PERIOD!

WATCH THIS VIDEO! If you are undecided, which I find utterly baffling, or are planning on voting third party, or write in, or not planning to vote at all, because of ‘principles’, believing that voting for the ‘lesser of two evils’ is just as dangerous as voting for the socialist. If I hear “there is no difference between the two” one more time, I might just have to hurt someone! There is a HUGE difference between Mitt Romney and Barack Hussein Obama, and you’d know this if you had taken the time to educate yourself on both their stances.

Be grateful you actually have a choice, and a chance, to decide whether or not to continue on the path of destruction, or take a different road that, hopefully, will lead back to prosperity. There are too many people in this world who don’t have the freedoms we still have, even though they have dwindled in recent years. Too many men and women died to allow us this freedom. Thank God there were, and are, those who willing fight and die for your liberty. Are YOU willing to give all? Don’t spit in their faces!!

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows Mitt Romney attracting support from 50% of voters nationwide, while President Obama earns the vote from 46%. One percent (1%) prefers some other candidate, and two percent (2%) are undecided.

1% prefers someone else?  Well shoot, I’d prefer Ronald Reagan cuz even deceased, he’d do a better job than Obama, but the reality is….these two guys are the choices we have.  Voting for ‘someone else’ might just get you the pain you wanted to avoid.  :?

And I’d really love to sit down and have a chat with those undecideds.  The choice between Obama and America shouldn’t be that difficult to make!  Sheesh!  If you are truly undecided, or are planning a vote for some obscure candidate that no one ever heard of, please don’t vote.  Give this country a chance to heal from the four years of on the road to unfettered socialism, ok?

Non Expert on the Final Debate

After a very long day of driving to and from Jackson for a 15 minute scan of cats (CT scan), the Mr and I sat down to watch the third Obama lie fest, also known as a presidential debate.  Joy.  I’ve never had a blood pressure problem, but I gotta tell ya, last night had me wound up tighter that a yo-yo!  And that was AFTER taking pain meds.  :?

Ok, so what did I honestly think?  We’re honest here, right?  Bob Schiefer didn’t do as bad a job as what I had expected.  He did attempt to reign in Obama when he just HAD to give his “I’ll make it quick” speeches.  Although he wasn’t always successful, he did try.  Governor Romney, on the other hand, was more successful in behaving like an adult, which isn’t all the surprising when you consider he WAS the only adult in the debate.

I learned nothing new.  I don’t know about you, but I’m of the mind that Obama could get some new material, based more on truth and reality than what he spits out on his stump speeches.  When he continuously repeats, pretty much word for word, the same lies that have been PROVEN to be lies, over and over and over…whether in a speech or debate, it makes for some seriously boring viewing.   He seems to be incapable of giving a direct answer to a direct question.  Think Libya!  He still refuses to give direct answers, and contrary to what some of the extreme left talking heads have been saying, it IS an important issue, and NO, we are NOT going to “move on”!

While Romney didn’t give his best performance, he was still head and shoulders above Obama.  He didn’t smirk, grit his teeth, or express anything condescending in either his responses, or his body language.  He started out slow, thanks in large part to Obama’s petulant behavior, but ended up pretty strong.  Has anyone made a count of how many times each interrupted the other?  While Obama attacked with sound bites, Romney attempted to give clear and concise responses.  It’s difficult to debate a petulant 4 year old, and Gov Romney showed a great deal of patience.  Personally, I would have had to reach across that table and do a Gibbs on the kid.

I was a little disappointed in some of Romney’s responses to a few questions, like dealing with countries that hate us.  I’m sorry, but diplomacy won’t work with countries like Iran, and it sure won’t work with the billions of Muslims whose only purpose in life is to destroy the U.S. and Israel.  If he has read the Quran, he’d know that.  There are no moderate Muslims, just ones who let the jihadis do the job for them.

Others have picked apart the responses, and done a much better job than I could (see below).  Unfortunately for Mr Obama, there are a great many of us out here in the real world who know he lies, and has from the beginning.  Thankfully, many more are waking up to that fact.  I just hope it’s not too late!  The media on the other hand is nothing more than the Obama propaganda machine, and those who still have some common sense left would do well to avoid them.

For the record, Mr Obama, this is a picture of a Marine.  Please note the long sharp pointy thing at the end of his weapon.  THAT is called a “bayonet”.  Please attempt to learn a few facts, K?

(Sorry…posted wrong pic previously.)

And…for those of you who missed it, or are a glutton for punishment, here is the debate in its entirety:

Heritage Experts Analyze Final Presidential Debate
The Foundry

Last night’s debate between President Obama and Governor Romney was supposed to focus on foreign policy. It turned into a wide-ranging conversation on everything from the Middle East to American teachers.

Heritage Foundation experts were live blogging analysis throughout the night. Below are some highlights from their reactions. Join us at 10 a.m. ET today for a Google+ hangout with several of our foreign policy experts—you can watch online and submit questions via Twitter using the hashtag #HeritageFan.

A Heavy Focus on the Middle East

Both men agreed that the Middle East was changing quickly, but said little about the new face of terrorism. Governor Romney charged that events in Libya, Syria, and Egypt demonstrated that the Obama Administration’s policies were unraveling and leaving the region without adequate American leadership. President Obama defended his policies but spent more time attacking Romney’s policies, which he criticized as “all over the map.”

Obama repeatedly plugged the killing of Osama bin Laden and ending the war in Iraq. But he said little about how al-Qaeda has regrouped and grown stronger since those events. The withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq, particularly special operations forces, greatly reduced the pressure on al-Qaeda in Iraq (AQI) and has allowed it to make a comeback. In July, AQI felt strong enough to publicly threaten an attack on the U.S. homeland.

The al-Qaeda franchise in Yemen also has launched several failed attacks on the homeland. Al-Qaeda also has seized large swaths of northern Mali using some of the weapons that it and its allies seized from Libya after the fall of Muammar Qadhafi. And the September 11 Benghazi terrorist attack, which was perpetrated by al-Qaeda sympathizers, underscored the continuing appeal of al-Qaeda’s extremist ideology.

Although Osama bin Laden is dead, al-Qaeda clearly is very much alive.

The Foreign Policy Debate

22 October 2012, 9:43 am. Comments Off. Filed under 2012, Election Stuff, Male Bovine Excrement, Massive Stupidity, Middle East, Opinion, Politics, War on Terror.

I keep hearing/reading that the ‘experts’ say Mitt Romney has no experience in foreign policy, so he shouldn’t be elected president. Uh huh….and the guy who went into the White House almost 4 years ago had no foreign policy experience either. The problem is, he still doesn’t. Apparently, he has learned nothing in his term about economic, domestic, or foreign policies. What little he has accomplished was started by the Bush administration, and he just left those policies in place. Anything he has done on his own he has royally F.d Up.

Apparently, he has been following the well intentioned, but totally naive, advice of the Report on the commission on the Prevention of Weapons of Mass Destruction Proliferation and Terrorism (Graham/Talent Commission) which, in part, states:

“The next administration needs to go much further, using the tools of ‘soft power’ to communicate effectively about American intentions and to build grassroots social and economic institutions that will discourage radicalism and undercut terrorists in danger spots around the world-especially in Pakistan. There are simple steps that most individuals can take to mitigate the consequences of an attack-even a WMD attack. By demonstrating that they could reduce at a national level the potential damage and lasting effects caused by an attack, citizens might convince a terrorist organization that pursuing such an attack was not worth the effort and thus deter it.”

Excuse me while I pick my chin up off the floor.  Have they not heard the words of the jihadists?  Their intent is to destroy the U.S., and thus destroy Israel.  Since the U.S. swore to protect Israel (although I doubt if this pretender has any intention of keeping that promise), what better way to insure Israel’s destruction than to first obliterate the world’s only super power who could stop them in their quest?

It’s time to face some hard realities.  We will be at war for the rest of our lives…..unless we can’t totally destroy the evil that permeates the entire world, or we are completely and thoroughly obliterated.   The intent of Islam is to rule the entire world, and they aren’t joking around.  There are NO moderate Muslims who can be reasoned with, on any level.  They will either enact Sharia Law in every nation, or die trying.  Life means nothing to these people.  It’s high time the U.S. Government come to grips with that reality!

In order to preserve what little we have left of our Republic, we MUST send Barack Hussein packing, and the United Nations be damned!

5 Crucial Questions for the Presidential Foreign Policy Debate
The Foundry

Tonight’s final presidential debate will focus solely on foreign policy. Moderator Bob Schieffer announced that the topics will be: “America’s Role in the World,” “Our Longest War—Afghanistan and Pakistan,” “Red Lines—Israel and Iran,” “The Changing Middle East and the New Face of Terrorism,” and “The Rise of China and Tomorrow’s World.” Heritage’s foreign policy experts have written a series of tipsheets for prepping on each of these issues, featured on our Debate 2012 page and linked below.

The Ever Classy Left

It might be wise for the Secret Service, FBI, or whoever to do a wee bit of investigating.  While I’m sure some of these….people….are just mad because someone told them if Romney is elected, he is going to take away all their food stamps, which, of course, is a blatant lie.  (Here’s a thought….if Romney is elected, perhaps those people would have jobs, and could buy their own food, with money THEY made, instead of relying on the government to take money from those who do work, and give it to those who aren’t.  Just a thought.)  However, I’ve no doubt there are some who are dead serious, and will make an attempt on his life.  Why?  Because he’s not The ONE?  Because he’s white?  Isn’t that racist?  You might need a translator with some of the comments.  English apparently is not a first language with quite a few.

For whatever reason these threats have been made, they HAVE been made.  If the right made such threats on a regular basis, as does the left, I am pretty sure there would be a whole lot more people behind bars.

Tell me again…just who is it that is guilty of racism, violence, and hate speech?

Presidential Debate #2

17 October 2012, 8:59 am. 2 Comments. Filed under 2012, Election Stuff, Opinion, Politics.

Do you ever have the overwhelming need to take someone by the shoulders and shake them till their head rattles? I got that feeling a LOT last night. I do have to admit that Obama was a bit more animated, but his inability to tell the truth when it DOES smack him upside the head is just mind boggling. I kind of doubt I’m not the only one who notice most of his responses were pretty much exactly the same as his speeches on the stump. The could have just had a tape of him, from any number of his campaign speeches….really doesn’t matter which parts, because he mostly failed to answer the specific questions that were asked by the audience.

Governor Romney, on the other hand, did do his best to answer the questions. That is, until Obama interrupted him. I did notice that after a while, Romney was also doing some interrupting of his own. Considering that Obama got more time than he did, can’t say as I blame him, although it is rude. If he hadn’t, likely all we would have heard is just one more word for word speech from the man/child. You could tell, by the look on his face, he was getting frustrated.

One point in Obama’s favor….he didn’t do all the cackling that Biden did, although there were plenty of smirks. That line from Jack Nicholson in A Few Good Men comes to mind…”You can’t handle the truth!” Mr Obama has a real problem with truth! Repeating the same tired old accusations that have been proven false, time and time again, is pretty pathetic, and extremely un-presidential.

One of the many whoppers…Obama claimed that he called the attack in Benghazi ‘a terrorist attack’. The Rose Garden speech does mention the word terror:

No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for. Today we mourn four more Americans who represent the very best of the United States of America. We will not waver in our commitment to see that justice is done for this terrible act. And make no mistake, justice will be done.

However, as is typical, Mr Obama twisted the truth….he NEVER called the attack on our consulate and the murder of our countrymen an ‘act of terror’.  It was at least two weeks AFTER the murders that he finally conceded it was a planned attack on OUR soil against OUR representatives. To me, that is an act of war. To the Obama administration, it’s an every day, ordinary crime.

The numbers he keeps making up as he goes along are easy to check as well. Apparently, he’s counting on his base to remain ignorant.

Sad to say, the critics were correct in questioning Crowley as moderator. She may have attempted to be neutral, but quite a few times, her bias would shine through. Did they goes through a pool of the most left leaning “journalists” they could find, and pick out the ones with no objectivity? Whoever decided on the two women moderators must have been smoking crack. :?

While Obama did do a bit better in this debate, I’m going to have to say that Romney won once again. Content, believability, and style are quite important when deciding on a president. Who would make a better leader? Obama has no content, and his lack of presidential behavior is all too apparent. He is definitely NO leader! He is not good for this country, as is evidenced by the shape we are in today. It is time for him to retire to his rumored multi million dollar mansion in Hawaii.
