…we were a nation of laws. We can’t say that anymore. The decline has been slowly noticeable over the last few decades, but there were still many who respect the laws of this land, based in large part on the laws laid down by God. Unfortunately for WE, The People, none are in positions of power.
We have a Constitution that lays things out in plain language. We have a Bible that teaches us morality. Neither one of those items seems to have any meaning in our nation today. Once upon a time, common sense prevailed, and honestly, the country was a lot happier. Now, common sense is frowned upon. People sue others when something offends them. Honestly, I have never found anything in either the Constitution, OR the Bible, that says you have a right not to be offended.
We have made laws that protect the innocent, but are ignored, and we having a booming bloody business called Planned Parenthood. We have laws that says you can’t enter this country without going through the proper channels. Now, we have a resident of the White House that has instructed those who should be upholding the law to ignore it, and we are being invaded from all sides, bringing diseases that have been eradicated from our country for decades. Many of those invaders are not looking for a better life for their families.
We have become a nation of self-centered, spoiled brats. “If I want it, all I have to do is take it. It doesn’t matter if someone else worked hard to earn their small comforts, I deserve it because I’m a ‘victim’.” Don’t count on the law to prevent the theft of what you earned. It’s the laws of man that is stealing it from you, in larger and larger chunks.
If you are a Christian, you are no longer allowed to practice your faith. It might offend someone, and you can be sued. The law won’t protect you. Forget about that 1st Amendment, it only applies to those who would rather see you dead than practice your faith.
If you are a parent, you are no longer in charge of your child. The law says you can’t discipline them when they behave like little savages. You can’t teach your child right from wrong, because there is no right and wrong, only what makes the child feel good about him/herself. It doesn’t matter if your child is prepared for the ‘real world’, as long as they have self esteem, even though it’s manufactured. Your child is not allowed to share his or her faith, but schools will teach them about the cult of death, also known as a ‘religion of peace.’ Your child is no longer your child because the law says so. It’s not a common sense law, it’s man made law because someone is offended by the way your raise your child.
If you love America, and want to fly the flag of your nation, there are many places that’s a no no because someone might be offended. The flag that so many fought and died for, the flag that was raised at Iwo Jima, the flag that is meant to unite a nation, under God, is prohibited from being flown from your home. Other flags, like the hijacked ‘rainbow’, or a flag from another country is ok, just not the flag of the United States of America. It might offend.
If you are a veteran, gave your all for your country, your country can’t be bothered to give you the decent care you deserve. Government appointees take the money meant to be used for your medical care, and award those who refuse to do their job fat bonuses. Many of you have died due to this wide spread abuse. Monies that most Americans would gladly see go to veterans care is being diverted to give 24/7 care to terrorists and illegal invaders.
You can still petition your representatives with grievances, but it won’t matter. Your grievances mean nothing. Only those who are in the ‘circle’ are allowed to complain, and action will be taken. You stand outside the circle, so your importance is minimal, until it’s election time, and then it’s more of your money that is requested.
Once upon a time, if you worked hard, you could achieve the “American Dream”. Just what is that dream? To own your own home? Two cars in every garage? A chicken in every pot? A big screen TV? In reality, the American Dream is liberty. The freedom to worship, speak out, be safe in your person and home, to protect your home and loved ones, and know that the government is prohibited from intruding upon your liberties.
No more. The American Dream has become a nightmare, and we can’t seem to wake up.
Do you ever feel like you’ve woken up in a parallel universe? I’ve been having that feeling for the last 5 1/2 years, and it seems to be getting worse. I’m not sure how I got here, but I’d like to find the exit now….please. I want to go home.
I use to live in a place where, with hard work, people could succeed, or fail, on their own merits. Children were reasonably educated, and mostly respectful of their elders. Sex wasn’t 24/7 on the idjit box entertainment, including commercials, and sex before marriage was frowned upon. People knew when they had done something wrong, and felt shame. Most people took responsibility for their actions, apologized when they screwed up, and tried to rectify the situation.
Come to think of it, the universe of yesteryear has been slowly colliding with this one for quite a while. I guess I really didn’t notice it as much as I do now. This universe has become the upside down world of now, and I’m not real fond of it, if I do say so myself. I want to go home.
When did the two universes become completely switched? Well, I’d say the real collision began in 2007, and became complete in 2009. Since then, I have been living in a world I don’t recognize, and don’t particularly like.
Why 2007? Well, if you’ll remember, that’s when the gavel was handed over to Nancy Pelosi, and things started getting completely out of hand. We had a Democrat controlled Congress, and the irresponsible spending became the norm. Oddly enough, that’s why the Republicans had lost, the excessive spending. I guess the country thought that the Dems would keep their word, and be responsible. That’s what you get when you have uneducated voters. I’m not saying they are stupid, just ignorant. Democrats have always loved to spend other people’s money. Why would the country think this time it would be better?
George W Bush has been blamed for the excessive spending, and maybe in some ways, he does bear some responsibility. That TARP deal wasn’t a good idea. It just started the ball rolling. Now, we can’t seem to get those in Congress to understand, it’s not their money they keep giving away. The country is hurting, but they keep using dummied up numbers to tell us everything is just peachy. 6.3 (?) unemployment? How about more like 12 %, and it’s even higher in the Democrat control inner cities.
Our economic outlook seems bleak. Unless WE get control of those who are suppose to be working in our best interest, it’s going to get even more bleak.
Yes, we’ve been fighting two wars, and that does put a strain on spending. But instead of supplying our military with the equipment they need to do the job, they have been stripped to bare bones, using what little they have to try to fight and enemy that doesn’t care about the Rules of Engagement, and uses ours to murder those in uniform just trying to do what they were trained to do. They come home physically, mentally, and emotionally maimed, and what does our government do to thank them? Put them on waiting lists, perhaps hoping they’ll die instead of getting the care they need, and deserve.
In the last 5 1/2 years, I have gone from being proud of my country, to absolutely appalled. This must be a parallel universe, because no rational people would put an incompetent, anti-American person in charge. There’s a reason the Founders created 3 separate branches of government. A separation of powers is necessary for a true Republic to function. The duties and responsibilities are laid out in plain English in the U.S. Constitution. Those lines of separation have been so blurred in recent years, I’m not surprised that so many have their heads in the sand.
Have you ever watched some of those videos where a guy asked people on the street to name the three branches of government? Most can’t name them. That’s truly embarrassing, and those who were hired to educate them should be extremely ashamed. Mind you, these are typically college students that are being asked the questions.
Yes, I am definitely in a parallel universe. No rational person would give billions of dollars to the enemies of our nation, and our allies, the enemy our young men and women are fighting. No rational person would make it more difficult for those same young men and women to do their job, to the point that the Rules of Engagement, put into place by politicians who have never worn a uniform, are getting them killed, and maimed.
No rational person would trade 5 top ranked enemy combatants, those who have plotted, and murdered American citizens, on and off the battle field, for one lone person, who many of his comrades are saying is a deserter, and possibly an active collaborator. No rational person would give in to the demands of the enemy, and hand over hardened enemies of the United States, with the flimsiest of excuse for such actions, and nearly no conditions placed upon them after their release. This is most definitely a parallel universe, where the purpose of war is not to win, but to placate the enemy.
This is not a sane world where I was born. This has become a very dangerous place to live, and I want to go home!
A friend of mine gave me a book by Joyce Meyer. Now, to be perfectly honestly, I’m not a big fan of hers, or any televangelist, but since my friend gave it to me, I am reading it. I’ve no doubt she’s a real nice lady, and her message is one of hope, of giving, and of living the life God intended us to live, but there’s just something that rubs me the wrong way with preachers begging for money on the idjit box. Some of them use that money as they intended, helping others in need. Some live lavish lifestyles, which in no way, reflects their words. Soo…. I have issues.
Anyway, I’d like to share the first paragraph of Chapter 3 that struck me like a big stick with you:
None of the revolutions that changed the world happened accidentally. In some cases, they began with just a few people discussing changes that were needed. Whether these history making events were birthed by casual unrest or well-planned revolt, they never just happened. They were deliberate, intentional, passionate, and strategic. They started because someone refused to do nothing; someone refused to simply ‘let thing unfold’; someone refused to be passive and idle while injustice ran rampant. Revolutions happen because someone decides to act.
Now, Mz Meyer’s book isn’t about politics, per se, but much of what I’ve read can be related to our every day lives. The Bible instructs us to ACT! It doesn’t tell us to sit back and watch the world go by; it tells us to get up off our duffs and fix the problems.
Well, we’ve got some serious problems in this country, and the sad thing is, with few exceptions, no one is acting. Oh, they talk, just like I do, but most of us do nothing but talk. Now, to be totally honest, I am incapable of doing much in the way of acting on my convictions. I use to, but alas, time and disease have caught up with me, and as much as I’d love to do SOMETHING, I just can’t. So, I talk..through this blog. Is anyone listening, besides DHS and the NSA? (I honestly have no clue, and in the long run, I suppose it really doesn’t matter. At times, there are things I need to get off my chest, and this is my venue.)
All of us can offer something, but too many don’t, or won’t, expecting someone else to take up the banner, and march for freedom. If all of us expect someone else to do our job, then will that job ever get done? Nope! Everything will continue as it is, and we’ll watch our freedoms be whittled away, bit by bit.
Has anyone studied the 9th Amendment? I did a bit of searching, and found very little concerning this amendment. We know much about the other God given rights, but do we understand that 9th?
The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.
Few people even know what the 9th Amendment says, myself included, until now. I did some studying on this, and did find something interesting.
“…the Ninth Amendment shows a belief of the Constitution’s authors that fundamental rights exist that are not expressly enumerated in the first eight amendments and an intent that the list of rights included there not be deemed exhaustive.” (SC opinion on Griswold v Connecticut 1965)
Simply, this forgotten amendment protects ALL our basic God given rights that are not implicitly included in the Bill of Rights. When citing the Constitution, many often state ‘it’s in the Constitution’, when it most definitely not. For example,that ‘separation of church and state’ nonsense is most definitely NOT in the Constitution. Several of our so called representatives, including the current resident of the White House, have stated that people have a ‘right’ to health care. No where is this implied in that document, not even the 9th Amendment. Health care is not a God given right to be provided by the government. In reality, the Constitution limits what the government can do, and prevents it from overstepping those bounds violates everything on which this nation was founded.
The ‘general welfare clause‘ is limited, mentioned only twice, once in the Preamble, and once in Article 1, Section 8, Clause 1:
“The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States….”
Thomas Jefferson, who was one smart cookie, stated:
“[T]he laying of taxes is the power, and the general welfare the purpose for which the power is to be exercised. They [Congress] are not to lay taxes ad libitum for any purpose they please; but only to pay the debts or provide for the welfare of the Union. In like manner, they are not to do anything they please to provide for the general welfare, but only to lay taxes for that purpose.” (The Papers of Thomas Jefferson p. 285, Julian P. Boyd. (1950), “Opinion on the Constitutionality of a National Bank”, Jefferson, Thomas (1791).)
Over the last couple of centuries, a number of court rulings have diluted the power of We, The People, and handed it over to the one entity that was never meant to have it, the federal government. It seems to me that the 9th Amendment was included to prevent such actions. Obviously, I’m no Constitutional scholar, but I do have a wee bit of common sense.
As Mz Meyer stated, revolutions don’t come about by accident, there is always a catalyst. What is our catalyst? Is the huge tax known as Obamacare, destroying our health care system? Is it the ever increasing burdens placed on businesses? Is it the overreach of the federal government into our lives? Is it the targeting of law abiding citizens, denying them their God given right to speak out against injustice? Is it the careless disregard of human life? Will it be the denial by the government to protect ourselves from the evil in this world, and even from them? Just what will be our catalyst? Do we even have one? Or, will we sit back, and watch as our country is destroyed from the inside.
There is a terrific piece in Christianity Today about the doings in Ukraine. While reading it, I thought, “We could learn a lot from them, and the acting president.”
What if the people gathered in Laffeyette Park, demanding the resignation of the current occupant of the White House? Would there be violence? Not from those who want their freedom, but from the police, on the directions of their superiors? Would they obey, as those in Ukraine obeyed? Would they shoot unarmed citizens? I’d like to think no, they wouldn’t, but I am starting to wonder. More and more, we are seeing the brutality of police in various parts of the country, so yes, I do wonder.
I know that the majority of the police force, on all levels, are good, decent folks. However, there are some who see that badge as a license to kill. If an order came from their superiors, that most likely would come from higher up the food chain, I have no reason to believe there would be some who would follows those orders. It brings to mind the statement that many Nazis repeated during their trials after WWII, “I was just following orders.”
There is an event that has been organized called Operation American Spring. The purpose is to restore our Republic and Constitution. Will it succeed? Some don’t think so, and claim those who are organizing the event are, to put it politely, not quite right in the head. That’s just the nicest thing I’ve read from the ‘opposition’. The rest? Well, I do try not to use such language.
Will there be enough Americans who will stand up for their country against tyranny? That’s anyone’s guess. Too many people have become the ‘what’s in it for me’ and ‘I don’t want to rock the boat’ types. Can you imagine if our Founders thought the same way as today’s citizens? We’d be singing God Save The Queen, instead of the Star Spangled Banner!
Am I going? I would if I could. Health issues prevent me from doing a LOT of things I’d love to do, whether I can afford them or not! We will, however, be attending the Defend The Constitution Rally, one county over. How can I go to one, but not the other? I’ve been to D.C. I know how much walking is involved in getting from one place to another. Trust me, I wouldn’t survive!
My point? If we don’t stand up, literally… physically, and emotionally, against the tyranny that has taken over, bit by bit, we will no longer be the United States of America. If we don’t speak out, we may no longer have a voice to speak out! We must learn from those in other countries who have taken their demands, their ‘fight’, to the streets, and won.
The Constitution, Ignored and Abused

The Constitution of the United States of America is no longer a reliable document. To continually argue the constitutionality of the innumerable laws and regulations that have been written under the sanction of the Constitution is a moot point. The sections and clauses that make up this document and the supporting documentation as to its purpose are becoming historical anomalies. When the supreme law of the nation is continually broken, abused and ignored it no longer has continuing authority. When lawmakers contort themselves into illogical arguments to explain and justify their illegality and un-constitutional actions it debases the intent of the document. When politicians consider themselves and their political parties to be the legitimate owners of the United States of America and not the people, the republic is lost.
How many times does a law need to broken before it ceases to be effective? Let’s look at just one example, the 4th amendment.
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
Any mature individual who can read English understands what this means. Unless the government and its agents have probable cause and a legal warrant signed by a judge the people are to be left alone.
The Patriot Act (sic) completely destroys this amendment. The National Security Agency violates this law every day. The IRS ignores this guaranteed right of the people with complete immunity from prosecution. The Department of Homeland Security and the TSA disregard and break this law consistently. The FBI uses National Security Letters and warrantless search tactics to invade the citizen’s privacy. It is a joke that this amendment is even considered valid law.
Arbitrary enforcement of a law also makes it invalid. If it is illegal for someone to walk into their neighbor’s house and poke around, then it is also illegal for the government to do this without a warrant. Any person who understands the 4th amendment knows this. The politicians and law enforcement officers chose to ignore the law. These abuses occur every day. The people in power, who could stop this, just look the other way.
The size and scope of the federal government has exploded over the last 60 years. It now has the power to control every aspect of our lives and does so with complete disregard for the citizens Natural Rights. For some perspective on he enormity of the intrusion of this creature just spend a few short minutes at this entry at Wikipedia:
There is nothing in our daily lives that the federal government cannot control. It does this by two very sinister means, through the threatened theft of our property and the threat of violence to our persons.
Now, the federal government through the power of the Federal Communications Commission wants to install, “monitors” in local newsrooms and newspapers. The president by executive order has granted himself the power to turn off the internet and broadcast his message via our computers and cell phones.
Historically, nations that have moved this far down the path of totalitarian control have not reversed course without a major upheaval. There is no strong, outspoken and powerful political balance to this abuse and it will only get worse. The next election cycle cannot change this. The beast is now roaming within our borders. Tyranny is here.
Individual Freedom and Liberty is not given by a politician, a political party or a government. Natural Rights cannot be obtained by asking for them. The citizens need to understand and accept the responsibility for their Rights. If not, then the Constitution and all it stands for will never be reborn.
Q: Doesn’t our Constitution already provide for controlling federal spending?
A: Yes. It lists the purposes for which Congress may spend money. Spending is limited by the “enumerated powers” listed in the Constitution:
• If it’s on the list of powers delegated to Congress or the President, Congress may lawfully appropriate funds for it. Read the Constitution and highlight the delegated powers – then you will know what Congress may lawfully spend money on.
• If it’s not listed, Congress may not lawfully spend money on it.
Q: What is the connection between the Oath of office (Art. VI, cl. 3) and federal spending?
A: All federal and State officials take an Oath to support the federal Constitution. The Constitution lists what Congress may lawfully spend money on. When people in Congress spend money on objects not listed in the Constitution; and when State officials accept federal funds for objects not listed (race to the top, common core, etc.) they violate their Oath to support the Constitution.
Q: Are the federal departments of Education, Agriculture, Labor, Energy, Housing & Urban Development, Health & Human Services, DHS, etc., etc., constitutional?
• Power over education, agriculture, labor relations, energy, etc., etc., was NOWHERE in the Constitution delegated to the federal government. Those powers were reserved by the States or the People.
• DHS – a national police force under the President’s control – is becoming our version of the East German STASI. Yet the States colluded with the feds in nationalizing law enforcement because they wanted the federal funds and military equipment.
I wonder how many, including the president, have actually read the entire Constitution. Today has been named as President’s Day, supposedly to honor all presidents, but in reality, it’s suppose to honor George Washington, our very first president, a man that gave more of himself than any other president since our founding. He was far from a perfect man, yet had the respect of all he dealt with during some very rough days. A reality, that we should always remember…. ALL MEN ARE FLAWED! (For you feminazi types, women are included in my term MEN!)
The interesting thing about most presidents, with a few exceptions on the ‘progressive’ side, they did their best to stay within the bounds set forth in the Constitution. Did they all succeed? Not really, but few have strayed as far as the current occupant of the White House.
If you read Article II carefully, you’ll see that the powers of the president are quite limited, and much he can’t do without the consent of Congress, in some cases, 2/3s of the Senate, those elected to represent the People.
At the end of Section 1, there is an oath that is to be taken by every president taking office.
“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”
“…to the best of my ability…” Well, I guess some presidents don’t have an ability to preserve and protect, do they. Three names pop into my head: Woodrow Wilson, Franklin D. Roosevelt, and yes…you guessed it… Barack Hussein Obama. They are either totally incompetent, or…dare we say it? Totally against the U.S. Constitution, and are incapable of going against their own principles, or lack there of. Perhaps they have a different form of government in mind? Wilson was a segregationist, Roosevelt interred American citizens in camps, and Obama? Well, he seems to have crowned himself king.
Section 4 is rather interesting as well.
The President, Vice President and all civil officers of the United States, shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.
One short sentence makes a great deal of difference for our future. George Washington, and his fellow Founders couldn’t foresee all the problems that could, and would arise, in the future, although they did their best to give us a strict guideline to follow to prevent many of the problems we are seeing now.
High crimes and misdemeanors as defined, in the broader sense, by the legal dictionary: It defines high crimes and misdemeanors as any serious abuse of power—including both legal and illegal activities.
We already know that many presidents are guilty of bribery. All you have to do is look at the various political appointees to know that many people get their positions through massive campaign donations, and are appointed as, in the most recent examples, to ambassadorships without having any knowledge of the country in which they’d be residing. In my opinion, this is bribery, and I repeat, they have all been guilty of this, to one extent or another. Even George W. Bush. Likely Reagan was as well, but that was before I was paying attention, so we’ll leave it at that!

I truly object this day being called President’s Day, as not all presidents deserve to be honored. I vote we return to calling it what it is, and celebrate it on the day it was meant to be celebrated, 22 February! If stores want to have sales, that’s fine, but to have another 3 day weekend so the federal employees can cavort, or carouse, or whatever they do on so many 3 day weekends which in 1968 was the intent of those in D.C. for federal workers, is insulting. Not just to Washington, but to the American people. We are losing our history, and our children are ignorant of the accomplishment of George Washington, even before he became the first U.S. President.
Shade Tree Mechanics Need Not Apply

What a sorry state of affairs. It has been said that America is a nation that has tens of thousands of rules and regulations to enforce ten simple laws.
The controllers in government have taken a beautiful machine that was designed to carry the human race along the path of Freedom and attached so many rules, regulations, warning stickers and restrictions that the machine no longer moves.
These mechanics then stand around and bicker over whether to add more devices or remove a label in hopes the machine will operate again. Everyone ignores the reason the machine was built in the first place!
The riders of the machine have no true understanding of where the vehicle is suppose to take them. The citizen is told that in America they have Freedom and with this Freedom they have Rights. The people parrot the controller’s words and chant, “USA, USA!” while armored vehicles roll through their neighborhoods and men with machine guns force them from their homes (Boston, 2013).
This juvenile understanding of what Freedom means is analogous to a father telling his son that to be a Christian the child only needs to say the word, “Jesus” twice a day!
The American machine of Freedom came with an operator’s manual; it is called the U S Constitution. It lays out in simple detail how the machine is supposed to be used and maintained. Shade tree mechanics have tossed the handbook into the burn barrel and now stand around and scratch their heads.
The mechanic’s who ruined our Freedom machine tell us to, “Trust them” that they can fix the machine. If we just let them, “add this to that, turn here and scribble there, insert this and remove that” everything will be alright and the machine will be as good as new.
The True knowledge of individual Freedom and Liberty empowers the citizen to stand up and proclaim in the loudest voice, “NO, you have done enough damage already! Go away leave us alone. We the People have copies of the operator’s manual and will fix the machine OURSELVES!”
The American machine of Freedom was designed to be operated by the people. No shade tree mechanics needed. To keep the machine running, the people through knowledge of Freedom and Liberty and Natural human Rights can ride the machine in the Pursuit of Happiness.
The operator’s Knowledge can only be attained by studying the reason the machine was created. The Truth is the fuel that started the machine running in 1776.
The people need to refill their personal tanks with this Truth. The spirit of individual Freedom created a nation of Freemen who overflowed with enthusiasm for Liberty.
The shade tree mechanic’s do not want you to know the Truth. They want us ignorant so the bill keeps get larger and larger until they own us and our machine.
There are no easy fixes. There will be pain and suffering, scratches and sore muscles. We might even go bust before the machine is restored. The machine was not designed to provide an easy ride.
There is one Truth that cannot be denied. The machine of Freedom was built to be operated by the People. Shade tree mechanics need not apply.
The battle for American liberty is the battle for American Christianity. Christians largely don’t get it. They are locked into a religious viewpoint, oblivious of the greater battle being waged against them and the word of God.
In order for the new socialist order to be completed in the United States, they must not only defeat the forces of liberty, but also the forces of Christianity. It is actually the religious zeal that they fear more than a few dedicated patriots. I suggest that the Marxist bureaucracy thirsts for the rebellion of the patriots, to kill off the last few hold-outs of Constitutional authority and to forever brand “patriots” as lunatics who should be disarmed and exterminated.
Christians give them more pause and for good reason. There are a lot more Christians than patriots and religious fervor is greater than patriotic fervor. Every war in the 21st Century has proven that. The fact that some of the patriots are also Christians is less relevant to them than if Christians became patriots.

There is one very important point that so many have forgotten: Our nation was founded on the laws of God, not the laws of man. Our founders were men of faith, even though many will try to convince you otherwise. The Constitution is the Supreme Law of the Land!
Today, neither our courts, nor our elected officials, follow the laws of God, or the U.S. Constitution, unless it benefits their ideology.

The following paper describes the criminal jurisdiction of the federal government. It is extremely limited. Most of what the DOJ does is unconstitutional as outside the scope of the powers granted to the executive branch in the federal Constitution.
George Washington’s cabinet had 4 members, one of which was Attorney General. There is a constitutional role for an AG – it is the AG which enforces the federal criminal laws Congress is authorized to make. But the objects of the AG’s powers are limited to those enumerated in the Constitution or to criminal laws made by Congress pursuant to the “necessary & proper” clause (which I explain in the paper).
1. The Constitution grants to Congress only limited powers to make criminal laws. These powers fall into five categories: a) those made pursuant to express authorizations for four specific crimes; b) those made under the “necessary and proper” clause; c) those made for the few tiny geographical areas over which Congress has “exclusive Legislation”; d) those governing the military; and e) those made pursuant to two of the Amendments to the Constitution. Let’s look at each category:

WE didn’t fight back because we thought someone else would, or that we shouldn’t get involved with ‘politics’. Well guess what Bucko! Life IS politics.
Like it or not, what happens in politics affects every single one of us. Those people who say “it doesn’t interest me” apparently don’t realize their lack of interest is screwing the entire country. Those pastors who are scared to speak out, informing their congregations that those asskflakes in D.C. are going against their faith, and destroying the nation that was built on Judeo-Christian values.
We have a caesar that is taking over every aspect of our lives, especially parts of our lives that is, to be perfectly honest, is none of his freakin’ business! Yes, render unto Caesar, but that doesn’t mean we have to render our lives, our businesses, our entire nation, our souls! Paying taxes is one thing. We do need taxes to provide for those items listed in the Constitution. I have NO problem with paying the salaries of our military, and making sure their families are provided for in a proper manner. I have NO problem with the upkeep of the roads and bridges.
The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;
Please read The Taxing Clause by my favorite Constitutional ‘scholar’, Publius Huldah!! I would advise those in D.C. to read it as well, since they have misunderstood their role in governing for a VERY long time! If you remember your history, we fought a war to rid ourselves of tyranny. We were under the thumb of an arrogant king who refused to listen to the people. History DOES repeat itself, doesn’t it!

It’s 3 a.m. You’ve been asleep for hours when suddenly you hear a loud “Crash! Bang! Boom!” Based on the yelling, shouting and mayhem, it sounds as if someone—or several someones—are breaking through your front door. With your heart racing and your stomach churning, all you can think about is keeping your family safe from the intruders who have invaded your home. You have mere seconds before the intruders make their way to your bedroom. Desperate to protect your loved ones, you scramble to lay hold of something—anything—that you might use in self-defense. It might be a flashlight, your son’s baseball bat, or that still unloaded gun you thought you’d never need. In a matter of seconds, the intruders are at your bedroom door. You brace for the confrontation, a shaky grip on your weapon. In the moments before you go down for the count, shot multiple times by the strangers who have invaded your home, you get a good look at your accosters. It’s the police.
Before I go any further, let me start by saying this: the problem is not that all police are bad. The problem, as I point out in my book A Government of Wolves: The Emerging American Police State, is that increasing numbers of police officers are badly trained, illiterate when it comes to the Constitution, especially the Fourth Amendment, and, in some cases, willfully ignorant about the fact that they are supposed to be peacekeepers working for us, the taxpayer.
The Useless Numnuts really don’t understand Americans at all, nor, apparently, does this administration. Hmmm….
